TRAINEE BACKGROUND » Her trainee life wasn't extremely difficult. sure like all the other trainees she had hectic schedules and stuff but she didn't hate it. dance practice wasn't hard for her because it was mainly basic stuff but singing was another story. god did she at singing when she first got there. get her to play some instruments, write down some music, do harmony crap that people have to learn for their grade 10 piano sure no problem but sing? oh she can barely hit do successfully when she first became a trainee and was somewhat picked on for that. was she part of the popular group still? uh, yeah. she could speak korean fairly well and had no problem communicating with others and she gave off the 'I'm popular everybody love me' vibe, which made most people pay attention to her and communicate with her. did everybody like her though? 
The reason that she left SM Entertainment was due to two reasons. The first reason was because she was honestly going to be debuted with F(x) but the company thought that she was undertrained as she was only trained about 4 months before F(x) debuted so they chose Krystal over her. This was not the reason that she left but instead it was the fact that she wasn't debuted in Red Velvet. She was promised to be debuted, hell she was even training with Irene and Wendy for the debut but they decided to choose Seulgi instead as she was already introduced to the public while Juyeong wasn't (it was supposed to be 2 SM Rookies and 2 unknowns. Joy and Juyeong would have been the unknowns while Wendy and Irene would have been the two already introduced). They choose Seulgi in the end because they thought that she had much more training with SM Entertainment and because she danced a lot better. Juyeong ended up leaving after and joined Jellyfish because she thought that VIXX was hot... yup pretty much how she got into Jellyfish

background » Kim Juyeong was born in Los Angeles, California. The family lived in Los Angeles before Juyeong was born because her parents thought it would be a better place to raise the family. It was two years after her birth did she get a little brother by the name of Taehyeong, Tyler, and the family was growing big and strong. Strong if you count how many times the two siblings argued over honestly the stupidest things. Oh which snack to buy. Oh I want to watch Sailor Moon, you want to watch Power Rangers? Too bad I'm older and blah blah blah blah blah. Their arguments were honestly probably some of the stupidest ever. Throughout her childhood she has always had a "good friend" named Mark. Ok who am I kidding they were far from good friends. They would constantly be teasing each other and he would always be pulling on her hair which causes her to pull his hair just as hard and well let's just say Taehyeong, Joey, Mark's younger brother, Grace and Tammy, Mark's older sisters, had to pull the two apart multiple times from not ripping each others hair out. Alright so they might've acted like brats and I may have lied about them not being close because in all honestly the only reason they treated each other like that was BECAUSE they were such good friends. They grew up practically together, as their parents were really really good friends. Mark was pretty much her third brother growing up and they spent almost their whole childhood at her house. That's how close they were. She wasn't just good friends with Mark but Joey became her younger brother while Grace and Tammy became her older sisters as well. Grace and Tammy would always put makeup on Juyeong and she became their little Barbie in a way. The three girls would find great joy in taking Mark's stuff when they were little, and even when they entered high school, they started stealing Joey's at around this time too, which the boy just got annoyed at.

She was 6 when she first moved back to South Korea with her parents. She moved to Seoul for about 4 years before she moved back to South Korea. The reason that she moved back was because her grandparents were very sick and had to take care of them so yeah. She dropped her life in LA and moved back to South Korea. Everything was new to her. She wanted to go back to the States as she found it so much easier there without all the respect and rules that she had to learn in South Korea. Course she only lived there for 6 years and never really went to school unless you count Chinese School, which was for the record, hell, and I guess she didn't hate growing up mainly in South Korea but it was there where she met her sarcastic cocky little cousin Jonghyun. They had first met during a family dinner when Juyeong was 9 and him 8. Her parents had been bragging, just a little bit, about how Juyeong was in ballet and how she knew how to play the piano and was learning how to play the cello when her aunt, her father Jeongho's sister, claimed that little Jonghyun could dance better. Even though she was 9 and him 8 at the time, they were both extremely competitive people and bragged themselves about how good they were. Of course one taunt led to another and they had a dance off, which Juyeong won because she's just that fabulous (no jk he won but she loved to think that she won). It was ever since that day, that her and her little cousin became rivals. It was also that day when Taehyeon had to start learning how to keep his noona and hyung from beating each other up. Needless to say he's usually the middle ground and voice of reason when Juyeong and Jonghyun meet.

The family moved back to LA when she was 10 due to constant begging and the fact that her grandparents didn't think that South Korea was meant for the kids despite how sickly they were. They felt that they would be much happier in the USA, isn't that ironic how they actually came back again 4 years later? Anyways, She went back to annoying Mark even though they weren't neighbours anymore. That was ok since their parents were both close and she still had to go to Chinese school with him even after expressing her deep hatred for it. She joined the school choir and through there her teacher suggested her to actually get vocal lessons and develop her voice even more. She did as she was told and got lessons. She also got a chance to go to China and Taiwan with their family with Taehyun where they learned a lot about the culture and how similar it was to South Korea, education wise. Man did she not want to go back to South Korea for school. Thanks but she would much rather stay with the chill society of Murica. 

Of course the family decided to move to Seoul, South Korea, again, when she was 14 as they wanted the children to 'connect back to their roots.' Juyeong obviously was not happy to moving back to South Korea for school. Her aunt suggested that she go bring dinner to her cousin who was extremely stupid forgot his dinner at home. She was against it at first but through threats ushers by her mother she went. Of course there was the problem that Jonghyun never exactly told the security guard that she was going and what security guard would let a strange 15 year old girl into Top Media willy-nilly? No. that does not happen. She ended up waiting about a half hour for her stupid cousin to come down and pick her up. Why half an hour? Because he was apparently 'training.' Ok so she knows that he was probably telling the truth now, but back then she thought he was lieing. Anyway he took his dinner and made her leave. Ok no he didn't, he asked her to come in with his because he's polite his mother would probably kill him if he let his cousin walk around at night alone. Very cliched reason but hey, the boy doesn't want to be yelled at. Anyway she ended up following him to the practice room, after lieing to a couple trainers that she was a new trainee. They bought it since there were constantly so many new faces nobody could really tell the difference. It was during his their break, that she had been recommended by one of his friends, Ricky, that she should go into modelling due to her naturally pretty face. She thought about it then took it up and became a model for Babinpumpkin and Marine5 from there, many people claimed her as a ulzzang then she became a trainee at SM Entertainment due to her aunt suggesting that she would be a great singer so she did it and got in. No not on the first try, on the second try.

Minyoung and Juyeong are honestly best friends. She can tell her mother everything and will constantly be getting advice from her whether it be about life, stress, Korean or boys. As she is a former entertainer herself, she used to be a professional ballerina when she was younger but is now just a choreographer, Minyoung knows about the pains and struggles that Juyeong must go through. Of course Minyoung was not extremely supportive when she heard her daughter wanted to be an entertainer. Why? Because Minyoung knows the hardships. She knows how difficult it is to keep her body looking a certain way and always acting happy but honestly Minyoung can't do anything about her daughter wanting to be an idol so in the end she accepted it (through the persuasion of her husband).

They have drifted due to her being a trainee and all but despite that she is still as close with her family as she can be. She will spend breaks talking to them on the phone (yes whether it is night time or day time for them). Even though he was against it at first her father is the reason that she is where she is today. If it wasn't for his blessing than she would not be living her dream.

Juyeong's little brother is an arrogant, obnoxious, sarcastic, sly (In Juyeongs eyes). In everybody else's eyes, he is a sweet, hardworking, caring honours student who would never let his grades slip. Juyeong says bull to that. When they are together they will always tease and insult each other, even though they're both only joking. They may always be insulting each other, but Taehyeong is actually extremely overprotective when it comes to his noona and refuses to let any guy look at her twice much less touch her and will always act like they are dating in public, which pisses Juyeong off as she finds it gross. Many strangers, mostly old people, have complimented them and said that they look like a great couple which makes Juyeong want to gag. Not only is Taehyeong the obsessive, overprotective brother, he was also the one that supported his sister the most when she decided to be a trainee. Of course he was dragged into the deal but dropped it the first year in. Even though he dropped being a trainee, he would still constantly wait for his sister to be done with practice then go pick her up. A lot of the other female trainees has a crush on Taehyeong (which Juyeong doesn't get at all because her younger brother is the grossest little thing that would constantly be wiping his snot all over her clothes when they were kids). Despite the fact that they are constantly arguing (like honestly, they get so annoying sometimes), Taehyeong will always be the crazy stalkerish saesang fan to Juyeong whether she debuted or not. He will always know where she is, what she's doing, who she's with, hell he even knows what colour bra and underwear she's wearing because, and I quote, 'they've seen each other anyway'... when they were like kids. Even though strangers might think that it's weird for Juyeong and Taehyeong to be that close, they really don't care. They both know that no clothes is the most comfortable even though they do tend to wear a minimum of a baggy shirt (or in Taehyeong's case a pair of boxers) when the other is around.

Ok so they aren't the cliche "Oh my oppa likes you? Mur mur mur I'm gonna kill you" Um no. 1) Jonghyun is a guy 2) Jonghyun is Ricky's. End of story. Ok so their rivalry is more... how to put it, carefree? No that's not the word. Their rivalry is more... useless. There we go. The only reason that they're rivals is because APPARENTLY Jonghyun dances better than Juyeong, according to him. But according to Juyeong SHE dances better than him. So they're pretty much just always at each other's throats for that sole reason. They can honestly stop being rivals at any time but since they have nothing else better to do with their lives I guess rivalries were formed between the two. And I guess since they've been at it since they were kids it has kind of just been tradition for them to always be bragging whenever they see each other. With them being cousins and all at least people know that they won't do anything idiotic to each other ex. sabataging the other's hair or something because "oppa likes the other one better." No. As great of a friend as he is to Juyeong, the girl does not like Ricky.
Around Juyeong, Jonghyun will always be doing everything in his power to piss her off. Why you may ask? Because her reaction is funny. He is always teasing her about how y he is because he thinks he's some y , well he's right about the later, and will constantly be bringing up embarrassing stories of when she was a little girl. Whenever the two of them meet it will always almost end up in a tangled mess of limbs with one of the two parties are the floor being forced to say uncle by the other. Their definition of "getting along" is not having a full out WWE wrestling match on the floor, with the Teen Top members usually betting on who wins. Whenever strangers see their interactions they will almost never gues that Juyeong is older, that and the fact that they always assume that they are dating as they constantly bicker like a married couple. That being said he is her baby cousin, sadly, and she loves him, at times. Alright to explain why he calls her babo noona, the reason behind it is that it represents both a sign of 'respect' and a sign of rebellion because he does not believe that she's older, mentally.

Being childhood friends, Mark and Juyeong know seriously everything about each other. As children she was almost always mooching food off the poor boy, even after he became a trainee. Whenever they hang out (which isn't often due to hectic scheudles) it will ALWAYS be a lazy day of her going to GOT7's dorms and sprawling herself on his bed while they watch movies and eat chips, ramen etc. pretty much anything that they're not suppose to eat. Juyeong treats Mark like another (nicer) brother/punching bag/food source while the later treats her as another (more evil) sister/annoying bully/food monster.

♥ Best Friends/Fake Sisters. Kim Youngmi + 17 + Trainee at Jellyfish Entertainment&Taehyeong's Current Girlfriend + Stubborn, Funny, Observant, Competitive + Closeness (8)
Juyeong and Youngmi are honestly the loudest creatures ever together. Anybody is able to tell when they are close. No correction, anybody can tell whenever they've entered a building together. Both have loud open personalities and have a lot of fun together. Youngmi is like the cute little sister that Juyeong never had and is constantly spoiling her and teaching and giving her advice about the music world.


 

♥ Really Really Really Good Friends. Wendy Son + 21 + Member of Red Velvet + Smart, Witty, Caring, Sarcastic, Motherly + Closeness (9)
Wendy is always acting like a mother around Juyeong even though the girl younger than Juyeong. She will constantly be taking care of her and will always goof around. Wendy and Juyeong are honestly the loudest creatures ever together. Anybody is able to tell when they are close. No correction, anybody can tell whenever they've entered a building together. Both have loud open personalities and have a lot of fun together. They both met as trainees as they trained together as prepared to debut in Red Velvet together. Wendy being one of the few English speakers at the time practically meant that they would be sisters. They conversed in English, which resulted in jealous stares from the non-English speakers, and from there, their friendship developed. Honestly speaking, she may look like she is closer with Amber or Min, but in truth her and Wendy have a very solid relationship. They are best friends but that doesn't mean that they spend every second of every single day together. No, they are not that kind of friends. They give each other more room, of course when they are together and hanging out everything is all laughs and joys but Wendy is the only person, besides her family, Youngmi and Mark, that Juyeong can talk to about serious things and hope to get advice back from.

♥ Loud English People. Amber Liu + 22 + Member of F(x) + Funny, Lazy, Open-Minded, Loud + Closeness (7)
They first met when they were both trainees. Due to Juyeong being considered as part of F(x) she met all the other considered to be apart of the group with Amber being one of them. She thought Amber looked unique and started talking to her. They ended up becoming friends and are the craziest, weirdest people anybody will ever meet. Whenever Juyeong and Amber hold a truce, they prank SM artists because 'why the hell not.' Their favourite victims targets in SM have to be Wendy, SHINee (Mostly Key because his reactions are princeless), Jongin (and the rest of EXO) and their 'amazing' sunbaes Super Junior and Girls Generation, namely Donghae, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Henry, Zhou Mi, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Yoona and Sunny. Though most of the times it's just Henry and Hyoyeon. The rest are usually just caught in the crossfire.

♥ Zombie Buddies. Lee Min Young + 23 + Member of Miss A + Funny, Open-Minded, Loud, Smart + Closeness (5)
Now you would think 'why does a member of Miss A know some random trainee?' Easy. They met each other through Amber. Min was loud. Juyeong wasloud. They just clicked, got to know each other and became friends. They are seriously the loudest people ever and with Amber it's just a hell hole. Honestly they will go around pranking and trolling people because, and I quote from them, 'why the hell not.' Their favourite targets are their 'precious' dongsaengs GOT7, 'precious' oppas 2PM and, like with Amber, Hyoyeon and Amber herself. Ok so sometimes Amber will gang up with Min and prank Juyeong and sometimes Juyeong will gang up with Amber and prank Min but they are seriously the three musketeers. Needless to say, they never fail to have fun


 

♥ Her Baby. Lee Taemin + 21 + Member of SHINee + erted, Funny, Charasmatic, Clever + Closeness (6)
Taemin is Juyeong's baby. She finds him a great dancer and will constantly be cooing over his "innocence." No who's she kidding Lee Taemin IS NOT innocent. Not innocent at all. He will constantly be acting erted with aegyo which causes Juyeong to flick him on the forehead. They were friends when Juyeong was a trainee as they met through Amber and Taemin would constantly be abusing his 'oppa' status (he forced Juyeong to call him oppa since she doesn't like to call guys oppa besides Yunho). Even before she was legal, Taemin would constantly be offering her alcohol to drink, then teasing Juyeong about how low of an alcohol tolerance she has. Obviously he wouldn't go too far with things, as he is actually a pretty good person with morals and beliefs as well so he would constantly be getting the her home if she got too drunk (namely Juyeong).

Even though in Juyeong's they're a 20 Honestly they've never met but Juyeong just loves him so much and wants to meet him a lot. Honestly she hates Amber so much just because she has introduced her to almost all of the SM artists... except for TVXQ. Obviously she isn't stupid and has asked many different artists to introduce them but they've all been "too busy." Either her friends or Yunho himself. Honestly she just thinks that it's all Amber's fault because he bribed them to keep her away from him. You know what's ironic about their relationship (They don't even have one /shot)? The fact that they've never met each other, yet they both know so much about the other. She knows so much about him because she's a little bit of a saesang but she's great at hiding it he's her idol and he knows about her through talking with various other SM artists. It's funny because he knows how much she likes him and finds her cute because he hasn't met her and will sometimes get his friends to take care of her. So technically he's her guardian angel. Isn't that sweet? (He'll be her guardian angel until he meets her, then he'll find out how much of a lunatic she is around her idols...)

personality » He may be an idol and have many girls practically bowing at his feet and thinking he is god or something, like any other person he still has his flaws and strengths. Daniel is a very laid-back type of person. He will keep his nose out of other people's business but not because he is being kind but because he just doesn't care. That's one of his flaws, the fact that a lot of the time he just doesn't care about others or their feelings. He has tried to get himself to care but as some people say, nature is stronger than nurture. He is very self-centered and will always be thinking of what is best for himself, unlesmyus he decides to think about others which he rarely does. Not because he doesn't want to, but because most of the time the thought just does not cross his mind. On the topic of being self-centered, he is also fairly selfish and is a mooch. He will constantly think about himself and will always try to take advantage of his looks and get people to buy him things. Does he know about his flaws? Yes. Does he try his best to change around his friends? Hell yes. Being a stubborn stubborn boy, he will always try his best to think of his friends first whenever they are around, and even when they aren't because he truly cares for them. He is very impulsive and will do whatever comes to mind before thinking about it. He is extremely funny and even though at times he is quiet he still knows how to have fun. Like Juyeong, he too is very stubborn and does everything in his power to win or get what he wants. Whether it is aegyo, persuasion and even blackmail or threats towards some people, only his close friends, he will use it and does everything to get what he wants.

love story » Honestly she first fell for his well, nothing. She hated him at first but after they became friends she first fell for his voice because have you HEARD him sing? Sounds like an angel and that's pretty much how she started falling for him but she just thought it was just admiration like how she admires Hyorin's voice so much. She next thing she fell for was his lips. Honestly she thought that they were too big in the beginning but after a while she started liking them and thinking about how it would feel like to have them on her lips why they're so big. Then she fell for his super cute adorable cat eyes that just stare into your soul and just eat you just from the inside out and just yeah. But honestly out of everything her favourite part of him would have to be the part that she found the strangest in the beginning, his big plushy lips.

history » They both met through Changjo when he introduced her to s. In the beginning Daniel hated, no loathed Juyeong with a deep passion. Why? He found her annoying, self-centered, loud and rude. Easiest way to put it, Daniel did NOT welcome her, at all. Juyeong, being not stupid, despite what everybody else thinks, decided she had enough of Daniel's face and confronted him about it, asking exactly why he hated her. Let's just say words were thrown, feelings were hurt and a certain Korean girl locked herself in her room for almost a week. Ok no that's a lie she didn't lock herself in her room, she went to training and continued on with life but just ignored all of Teen Top. Like she would pretend they weren't there. All of them. Even her cousin the . After that, well let's just say Daniel was... persuaded by Changjo to apologize and play nice with Juyeong. Hey, just because he's an most of the time doesn't mean that he means it half the time. Daniel didn't like it at first but then saw all her good qualities and they've been friends ever since.

interactions » Despite not being able to see each other much in person, due to Teen Top's hectic schedule and Juyeong being a trainee, they still managed to stay close through Kakao Talk. Juyeong surprisingly trusts him the most out of Teen Top, besides Ricky because Changjo's an , and they never fail to have fun. Daniel may be the silent manly type but still has fun with the people that he holds close to him, which includes Juyeong. They are extremely loud together and will never fail to tease and bring up inside jokes. Whenever they're together they do the weirdest crap ever. Some of their adventures include drinking a bottle of ketchup (they both ended up getting about a cup down before almost, or in Danielmy's case actually, puking), seen who would eat the most jalapeno peppers in a minute (yeah that was not pretty) and even saw who could make the prettier girl (It was with all of Teen Top to see if any of them would be prettier than a girl. Yeah Chunji turned out prettier than Juyeong) Many people who are not around Daniel when he is with Juyeong, and vice-versa, get a surprise whenever she's around as they act like twin trains, anybody can always hear them before they see them.
