style: She wears the basic of things, t-shirts, jeans and skirts, short shorts with cardigans. She's a huge fan of cardigans and soft colours. Dresses are her favorites too, especially knee-length ones fit for the summer. Hanna also likes wearing baggy shirts at night, it makes her feel comfy for sleeping. You can see her dressed in a feminine way most of the time. “Hello there. My name is Han Naeul, but do call me Hanna,” At first glance, Hanna is no different from other girls. But once she opens , you’ll realize that she’s not your average girl next door. Her words are sometime so polite that you can literally hear the maturity and professionalism behind it all. With one single sentence she can make you respect and maybe even make you scared of her. Now, erase the girl’s next door type and replace it with a mixture of a headmistress and a female CEO, and you’ll get her perfectly. At second glance, that is.

“Do we have time tables here? A schedule to follow?”  Hanna is a traditional girl, one of those who go by the book. She trusts facts, her mind, more than she trusts her heart. She’s quite inflexible, not really comfortable with the term ‘go with the flow’. She prefers it better when her days and schedules are completed even before the day has started. She does things better when she knows what is coming next. She tends to have this ‘controlling’ manner, where she thinks that it’ll be best when the days go with the schedules made.

“May I know who’s in charge here? Or who I should see if any problems should come up?”  Hanna is easily nervous and stressed. A big part of her sees the future in a pessimistic vision. She’s one of those ‘Best to predict the worst, so we won’t be let down,’. To her, there’s no such thing as running things smoothly, there ought to be a few bumps here and there, so she likes to be prepare when the worst comes her way. Also, she has the tendencies to rely on others. This is not to say that she’s not independent, quite on contrary actually. The girl is very independent and holds herself strong, but when it comes to things that involve other people, she can’t help but to question herself on the decisions that are to be made. Her self-confidence is quite lacking in certain areas, so she prefers to consult and hear what others thinks first.

“It’s very beautiful here…”  Hanna is not afraid to voice out her opinions, she has strong sense of what is right and wrong. Her principles and moralities are very high, but she does take other’s feelings into consideration. She will try her best not to hurt others when voicing her views. But sometimes, when sugar-coating things doesn’t work, she will speak up. And when she does, you’ll be very afraid of her, unless you’re a happy-go-lucky and a retarded person that is. Hanna also has a keen eye and is a very observant young lady. She is very good in reading others, but she can be wrong too at times. This talent of hers is both good and bad. The downside of it is that Hanna tends to be a little too judgmental. You know how you sometimes you just know you hate that person even if you have never talk to them yet? Yeah, Hanna does that a lot.

“Studies? Seoul National University of Korea. Majoring in law, minoring in Health Science,” A highly intelligent girl, she’s definitely not someone that you want to mess with. The girl has a quick mind and a sharp tongue, and is very defensive too. However, Hanna’s intelligence are mainly ‘book smarts’, her street smarts are lacking so much its funny. She may be the smartest girl in her class but her surviving skills are so bad she could get a D in it. She doesn’t know how to cook, sew, light fire, heck, she can’t even light a match. She’s that bad. Also, she can be gullible at times. She sometimes fail to catch that hint of sarcasm from others. (But she speaks sarcasm as a second language though)

“U’uh, excuse me? Can you repeat the question, I didn’t quite catch it there," Hanna is a prideful young lady. She sometimes refuses to acknowledge that she’s wrong or has lost at something. She can get a little childish and pouts when things do go her way, but she’s not a spoilt young brat. Despite her pride, the girl is very responsible and honest. She values these two traits the best. If she had committed a mistake and should be punish, she will obligate to it. She’s not the kind to run away from her responsibilities, may it be important or not.

“The staffs and members here look nice……”  Being a defensive girl, Hanna can be very skeptical and doesn’t trust people easily. She is very careful when trusting others, not wanting her heart to hurt if that person betrays her. When you do enter the circle of people she trusts, it’ll be very hard to get out from it. Hanna holds her close ones likes a girl clutching to her favorite teddy bear, and refuses to easily let go. When those she trusts hurts her, she’ll fall into a denial state, believing that there’s must a reason behind the betrayal or deception. But it doesn’t happen often, as she doesn’t fully trusts many people.

“The youngest here are 13-year-olds right?”  She’ll never admit it, but the girl actually has a soft heart. She is easily touched by things and can be emotional like a pregnant lady. Also, as she has trust issues, she will never betray those who trust her. She is sincere in every act that she makes and is very reliable and dependable. She has a soft spot for kids too, especially those who are just cute and chubby.

“It’s going to be a serene summer…”  Hanna remembers every important things in life, may it be happy memories or sad ones. She doesn’t forget what others had done for her. A grateful heart is one of her charms too. Also, Hanna tends to change her manners and way of talking when meeting different people. Surely, you can't be mature and professional while talking to kids now, can you?

background:

Hanna was born to a wealthy couple in London, England. She has a twin brother that is older than her by 7 minutes, but somehow, they were not born on the same date. Miraculously, her brother Isuel was born exactly at 11: 56 p.m, 18^th of July while she was born 7 minutes later, 12:03 a.m. on 19^th of July. Their parents lived there because they were managing a jewelry shop there. Hanna’s grandfather (from her father’s side) owns a large chain of jewelry shop call ‘Pandora’ and Hanna’s father took care of the shops in London.

When Hanna was 5, her mother was involved in an accident and pass away. She and Isuel were brought back to South Korea to live with their grandfather and receive ‘training’. Now, a year later, their father remarried and had a little baby girl, Hanna’s and Isuel’s new step-sister. The siblings were never close to each other, even after the girl, Hanuel came to Korea at the age of 10.

Between the three siblings, only Isuel is fully healthy and doesn’t have any health problems. Hanna suffers from gastric and allergies and Hanuel was born with a weak heart. Mr Han and his new wife brought Hanuel to South Korea so that there will be family to look after her. But he and his wife flew back to London soon after, leaving Hanuel to live with her step-siblings. Isuel doesn’t play with girls, saying they have ‘cooties’ (even if he’s already 18 at that time) and because he is the next ‘heir’ in line for the company. Hanna on the other hand, plainly doesn’t care about her step-sister and her conditions.

Kiha is usually nervous when meeting all three of his children, because he doesn't know much about them. When hearing Kiha's name, Hanna basically couldn't care less anymore, she has shut him off her life. Even so, Kiha still tries to connect with Hanna. He always sends her a new novel when it's her bithday, knowing that his daughter loves reading. ]

[ step-mother | Ryu Najeong | 44 | Former Jewelry Expert (She can be considered a housewife, but she doesn't really do anything, considering all she does is follow her husband around the world. | Obedient, Loyal, Narcissistic, Vain  | If there was one person that Hanna would never want to see, it would be Najeong. The two had only met each other twice, one was when Kiha and Najeong got married, and the other was when the couple dropped Hanuel in Korea. Hanna sees Aejeong as a vain and self-obssesed woman, and she is correct about that. To Hanna, a mother that leaves her own child away from her, is of course no good. ] 

[ brother | Han Isuel | 22 | Student - Heir in training | Cocky, Smart, Protective, Childish | Between the twin siblings, Hanna is definitely the mature one, her brother is happy even when Poror is shown on television. The two bickers all the time, and both are stuborn too. They would bicker and shout at each other untill they grow tired and when that happens, both will jjust drop the argument and go into their respective bedrooms. He also likes to show off, always teasing Hanna how he was pick as heir and Hanna wasn't. Hanna loves her brother of course, but there will always be that bitter side of her that is envious of Isuel. ]

She always smiled whenever she saw her and asked how her day went, but in return, Hanna just glares at her and walked off. Without her knowing, Hanna grow protective of the girl and wants her to do nothing pass her abilities. Hanna can be too protective at times with this girl too. The girl likes Hanna too, but she sometimes wishes not everyone would control her much.  ]

[ Head Junior Camp Counselor | Yoo Ara  | 24 | Staff | Kind-hearted, Determined, Loving | Hanna and Ara actually had a junior-senior relationship back in school as both were studying law. However, they were not close in school and actually got to know each other more in Camp Starlight. 3 years ago, Ara was one of the most helpful staff member there as she was in charge of the Junior camp and she helped Hanna looked after Hanuel. The two found out that they both have quite a similar way of life, with being rich, having maids and what not. Ara helped Hanuel realized three years ago that there are many more things important in life, and that we need to appreciate and love those who are close to us before they are gone. (Her father's deceased, so Ara ain't joking about all the pain and regret in losing someone, which makes Hanna opened up her heart.) Now, Hanna once again return to Camp Starlight with an open heart, wanting to make a wish come true. ]

Baekhyun is a very nice and warm person. He has this aura in him that makes people attract to him just by seeing him smile. He has a bright and cheerful personality that can make those around him happy and content. The boy is very likable and has natural social skills. He’s friendly and has no problem to connect with others and be friends with them.

The boy is one of those that sees things rationally and always sees the good in others. He doesn’t judge hastily (in big things) and observes beforehand. Even if the person is treating him badly (No joke in them), he will be patient and continue his best to make s/he like him. Baekhyun is indeed a smart boy, and can be witty most of the time too. He likes to be playful, and childish and pull pranks on others despite his age, but he always knows his boundaries around others and never steps over the line.

Baekhyun is both a best friend and a big brother to the campers. His big and warm personality makes it easy for others to get close to him. This big brother can be funny and clumsy at times, and perhaps even scare the campers there with his nonsense ghost stories about the summer curse, but truthfully, he cares about all of the campers there and is very protective towards them, especially towards the younger ones.

how you met:

Hanna brought Hanuel to camp 3 years ago. The sisters were first separated as Hanuel was a junior camper and Hanna was a senior camper. Hanna did not concentrate much on the schedules for the senior campers at first, because she was busy thinking about Hanuel, not wanting her to get in trouble. Hanuel had gotten permission to look after her sister and not join the activities held for the senior campers. No staff questioned her as they knew her condition…

Until Baekhyun came around.

One day, there was an activity specially for the Juniors campers, no senior campers allowed to join. Hanuel couldn’t care about the activities, she was only there because she needed to watch Hanna. Baekhyun suddenly came by and told Hanna “ No old woman here,” which made Hanna shocked, confused, and eventually mad. She tried to reason with him but he literally dragged her off the site, leaving Hanuel there. Hanna tried to reason with him, and told him that her sister needed supervision but Baekhyun wouldn’t listen. He continued pulling her hand to the Senior part of camp.

When they arrived, Hanna once again tried to tell him, but he immediately cut her off, telling Hanna that Hanuel can watch out for herself and doesn’t need a sister’s constant look-out. With quote, “Hawkeyes,”

This Summer's meeting :

Hanna specially requested for her to help Ara look after the junior campers (To relieve what Hanuel did) and she was granted the request. Hanna was walking to the Junior camp when suddenly, a girl about 13 years old came running from the cabin crying. Hanna caught the girl and asked her what was wrong. She said that there were many bugs and even snails in her cabin. Hanna just smiled and helped the girl cleaned herself up (from soil of snail and bugs).

Later that night, where all members and the campers met for a meeting after dinner, the staff members were introduced and also a few keen volunteers. Baekhyun’s eyes literally popped out when Hanna was introduced. After the introduction, Baekhyun went to Hanna to greet her again, wanting to ask her about Hanuel’s condition, but this time, it’s Hanna who cut him off, “Snails and bugs Oppa? Seriously?”

how you interact:

Unlike the first few days of the summer 3 years ago, Hanna acts very friendly and gentle towards Baekhyun this time around. Sure she gets annoy when Baekhyun says stupid jokes and pulls pranks on innocent campers but she actually secretly likes the playful side of his. Other than Ara, Baekhyun is another person that she is comfortable telling her secrets and feelings (mostly about Hanuel) to as he is a good listener and gives good advices in the end.

3 years ago, the Han sisters left Camp Starlight with a cheerful and happy face. However, Hanna was still a little distant and ‘snappish’ towards him (As Baekhyun sees it) when she left. Now, it’s almost completely different. So at times, Baekhyun will squint his eyes at Hanna and asks her “Who are you and where is the snappish, easily annoyed and tensed Hanna from 3 years ago?” Hanna in return just give him a bored look and tells him to go do his job.

They are considered as best friends there. A few campers (Especially the seniors) tease them because they are seen a little too close together. It's like where ever Hanna is, Baekhyun will be there too.

why did you choose camp starlight?: "My sister and I, we were both campers here three years ago. The camp had made us grew close to each other and our days here back then were those that we will never forget. Unfortunately, she can't join me this year..."

3 years ago, Hanna came to Camp Starlight because she was 'assigned' to look after Hanuel who suddenly decided she wanted to go away for camp. Hanna was very much annoyed by this, but she obligated to it anyway because her grandfather told her too. Hanuel wanted to go to camp because she wanted to breath in the fresh air and have fun like other kids, oppose to how she had been living in the past few years, trapped in her house and having countless visits to hospitals.

On the summer where Hanuel was 13, she literally begged her grandfather to let her join the camp, promising that she will no longer object to any treatments and meds in the future. Grandfather Han agreed, under the condition of having Hanna look after her at camp. Hanna who was 18 at that time, dragged her out in the sun just to accompany her sister dearest at camp. Hanna really couldn't care less about the activities there, and her only main and focus was Hanuel and only Hanuel. She knew about her sister's condition and doesn't want anything Hanuel falling sick or something. (Ah, a sister's love.)

At camp, she met a lot of people there, they were all unique and nice in their own ways, especially Ara, her senior at University and a loud, playful and retarded boy Baekhyun. Hanna was solidly untouched by everything in the first few days in camp, but the realisation from Ara and Baekhyun, Hanna slowly found love for her sister.

3 years later (Now), Hanna comes back to be a volunteer because Hanuel asked her to. Hanuel is now terribly ill, weak and fragile and is bound to stay in the hospital. Hanna started loving her sister fiercely 3 years ago, and she wouldn't have the heart to say no to Hanuel. Hanuel wants Hanna to have fun in camp, saying that she will feel what ever Hanna is feeling at camp. It sounds like Hanna is going to camp for two person. The sisters want to once again experience the fun and joy that had in camp 3 years ago, but as Hanuel can't come, Hanna takes the place for two.

scene requests:

 

1. A junior camper is missing and it was raining. Hanna doesn't hesitate to look out for her which results in her being sick. Baekhyun came to visit Hanna at the infirmary and starts nagging her, but all she ask was if the girl was doing alright.
2. Hanna leaving camp almost everyday at 5 to visit her sister in the hospital. No one really knows why she goes out at first other than the heads, but once Baekhun finds out, he confronts her, but Hanna waves it off and says it's nothing.
3. There is a game involving the whoel camp and the staff members and volunteers are to make a group with the campers. Baekhyun grabs Hanna immediately and they form a group with other campers.
4. Hanna always comes back to camp at 8 p.m after visiting Hanuel, but one day, she didn't come back till the next day. And the staffs there noticed that she had large circles around her eyes and they were also swollen from crying.
5. Hanna taking pictures of the camp secretly and getting caught by Baekhyun. When he asks why, she cooly says that Hanuel wants to see them.
6. Hanna telling Baekhyun that Baekhyun was her favorite staff and she secretly had a crush on Baekhyun. Baekhyun turn on his coocky mood and says that everyone has a crush on her, and Hanna stays silent (Not saying no or yes to having a crush on him)
7. Baekhyun finally finds out that Hanuel is sick and ill in the Hospital and is hurt because Hanna did not tell him.
8. Baekhyun accompany Hanna to visit Hanuel at the Hospital evey afternoon after he finds out about Hanuel's condition.
9. Baekhyun and Hanna having  a special 'moment' and their 'moment' was cut off by a phonecall from the hospital. Hanna's face turns pale after recieving the call and Baekhyun gives her a ride to the hospital.
10. Baekhyun and Hanna waiting for Hanuel's surgery, but Baekhyun is call back to the camp because of some difficulties. Hanna tells him to come back to camp. When he returns, Hanna is crying her eyes out, because Hanuel is announce dead. Baekhyun regrets leaving her alone. (This means that Hanuel dies in Summer.)
11. Hanna furious at her dad and step-mom for not being beside Hanuel even until her last breath, Baekhyun holds her back from hurting the two. (This happens at the funeral?)
12. 3 years ago, Hanuel burried a box near a big tree in camp, it's located near a flower field (Is there such thing?) together with Hanna and Baekhyun, but she never reveal what was in the box. Now, after her death, Hanna and Baekhyun return to camp to find the box. To their surprise, there were letters in there, saying how happy and grateful she was. Hanna cried there and there while Baekhyun just hold her.
13. A year later, Hanna returns back to Camp Starlight as a volunteer/staff, still looking after the junior campers. c:
