What you do, the way you think, makes you beautiful.
FACE CLAIM — Park Seul

BACK UP FACE CLAIM — Jeon Surin

APPEARANCE — let's cut down to the chase now, shall we? frankly, Lea doesn't stand out much, she looks just like any other next door kind of girl. however, if you do look closely, you'll realize that her skin if very fair, almost to pale level. there are heavy eyebags under her eyes which show that the girl never have enough sleep. believe it or not, her black-brunette wavy hair is actually natural. she has never dyed it and doesn't plan to do so any time soon. at first glance you'll think that she's the 'wallflower', innocent but curious. oh well, she is one actually. the latter i mean.

1st Year: 138 cm, 34 kg
2nd Year: 142 cm, 35 kg
3rd Year: 147 cm, 38 kg
4th Year: 152 cm, 41 kg
5th Year: 155 cm, 42 kg
6th Year: 158 cm, 45 kg
7th Year: 162 cm, 48 kg

STYLE — At first glance, the girl is quite a 'by the book' kind of girl. she wears her robes accordingly, like any good student will do. somehow, she is always feeling very cold, so even in summer, she keeps her full robes and tie on. Outside of school, you can see her wear the simplest (t-shirts with cardigans) or weirdest of things (hanbok with cardigans), depending on her mood, and she likes to mix and match what ever she's wearing. Lea also likes wearing baggy shirts as they make her feel all fuzzy and comfy. She can be a little picky with her colours too. The girl prefers soft instead of striking colours. Her style rarely changes as the years go by. However, don't be surprise if she decides to waltz around in a hanbok. It's her heritage and she is damn proud of it. Oh, did I mention that her main fashion theme is floral? tehee.

— I'm a rare spesies, even for a witch.
PERSONALITY
wise, honest, loyal
idealistic, whimsical, curious
fragile, possesive, confusing/enigmatic

["The world is full of obvious things which nobody by any chance ever observes."] Beneath her dreamy eyes, airy voice and eccentric aura is an oddly observant young lady. Lea has natural curiosity about the world and how the mind works, making her one of the most observant students in Maseol. The girl has a huge thirst for knowledge and is not afraid to pursue it to satisfy her thirst. In a school where the majority of students study until their nose bleed just to get good results for O.W.L and N.E.W.T, Lea is simply a girl who loves knowledge. To her, knowledge is everything. she practically has countless of information in her head, even things that are not in your average textbooks. most would call her an oddball as she is extremely intelligent but has no drive, wise yet so ‘gullible’ and honest to a t. Oh yes. she is so honest that she has absolutely no self-conscious. Lea usually talks whatever that comes to her mind, and while her words will put many people off guard, she means absolutely no harm. Due to her complex and ‘weird’ nature, Lea is usually targeted by the troublemakers and ‘straight as’ bullies from teh other houses, especially Anseung and Girim, but she doesn’t mind much. To her, human nature is the most complex of all theories, so…she just let them be. When deciding how to move forward, the girl will look to honor, beauty, morality and virtue – Lea is led by the purity of her intent, not rewards and punishments. and she is proud of these qualities. Not everyone understands the drive behind these feelings, and it can lead to isolation.

["You see, but you do not observe. the distinction is clear."] Most people think that Lea is one of those kids who are book smart but lack in street smarts. Some also think that a girl like Lea does not have a ‘voice’ of her own. oh how wrong they are. those who are truly close to Lea will know that this girl gives excellent advices and good at calming others and is a natural peacekeeper. Lea tends to give the benefit of the doubt too, and so long as her principles and ideas are not being challenged, she'll support others' right to do what they think is right. Lea is also passionate and energetic – when something captures her imagination and speaks to her beliefs, she goes all in, dedicating her time, energy, thoughts and emotions to the project. while she may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy (whimsical really), when the time and the cause are right, she emits an inner flame and passion that make her shine her brightest. However, as Lea tends to give all of her focus into one thing, she disregards everyone and everything else, even eating. This shows that Lea can be unbalanced in juggling work.

["The emotional qualities are antagonistic to clear reasoning."] Despite having the nature of seeing the good in others, when it comes to friends and closed ones, Lea has the tendency of calling most of her classmates ‘acquaintance’ instead of friends. even though she doesn’t show it, she is actually extremely fragile and sensitive. people may think that her whimsical attitude is everything there is to her but truthfully, that’s only her defensive mechanism. she may be all smiles and loony-ish-ly calm, but she does guard her own feelings at bay. if she does however learns to trust, it will be very hard to let go. with that said, Lea is extremely loyal to the point of being possessive. once she has loved, she will (or can't) let go. she is also extremely protective towards her loved ones. it’s okay to insult and bully her, but never insult her parents and friends. it is not easy to make her love as her world inclines more towards her head than her heart. however, the few names in her heart she loves and protects fiercely, so do not mess with those people or you will find your potions experiment gone horribly wrong, itch powder on your robes after quidditch practice and even hexes and jinxes that could last a lifetime. can’t believe it? go ahead, but you have been warned.

["There is nothing more decieving than an obvious fact."] Disregarding the above statement (which again, will only happen should you cross the line), Lea is one true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. she has a very high chance of being misjudged due to her quaint and peculiar nature, but when given the chance to find like-minded friends to spend their time with (or at least, those who appreciate her nature), they will see that Lea is, and will never be an open book. she has layers to be explored, and her deepest self is a sight to behold. Next, Lea also has the 'talent' to communicate deeply with others, easily speaking in metaphors and parables, and understanding and creating symbols to share her ideas. not many understand what she is talking about, as sometimes she spurs in old english, ancient runes, traditional korean and some other famous people's quotes. To the close-minded and eye, her words are puzzles, riddles and downright annoying, and they contribute more to her complex and enigmatic nature. These traits are her strengths that lead to creativity and innovation, but another price to pay will be isolation. Open-minded and flexible – a live-and-let-live (a.k.a whimsical) attitude comes naturally to Lea, and while not many can connect with her, her true friends and loved ones will come to admire and depend on her for her open-mindedness, reflection of hope and (slightly downplayed) optimism.

Everyone has a story.
PAST — Half a decade before Lea's birth, the girl's father, Jin Jaehwan shook the entire Korean Wizarding World when he, the sole heir of the House of Jin, the former Prince of Anseung, a sworn enemy of Girim and all muggleborns alike, broke a hundred year tradition and announced his engagement to Park Nora, a middle-class blood-traitor, muggleborn ally and former Princess of Girim. Both were only 22 and the wedding itself albeit extravagant, was a rush and all over the place. Speculations were thrown out, some said that the couple bonded as Head Boy and Head Girl of Maseol, proving themselves to be star-crossed lovers. Another popular theory was that it was a gunshot wedding, that Nora was pregnant due to a one-night stand. Whatever the reason was, they were soon announced as spouses, and Jin Jong-In, their first son and heir to the House of Jin was born just seven months later.

Nora then gave birth to Lea three years after Jong-In, then to another baby boy, Jin Tae-Ahn when Lea was four. To the outside world, Jin Jaehwan and Park Nora were 'the it' couple in the wizarding world, and they put up a damn good act in front of public. However, within the walls of Jin Manor, they were strangers that slept on different beds. Jong-In's birth was indeed a result of a one-night stand, and the two children that followed after were nothing more than results of anger and frustration. The couple's marriage came crumbling down when at the 9th year mark, Jin Tae-Ahn, a baby a little over six months old died due to high fever. None of the potions worked on him as the poor baby was a squib. Thunder rumbled, tears cascaded, insults and shouts bellowed outside the wizarding hospital and the next thing Jong-In and Lea knew, their parents were divorced and their baby brother was gone.

Jaehwan took Jong-In with him, leaving Lea with Nora. The woman who was already a diplomat, flew to London and worked there as Korean-British diplomat, representing South Korea in wizarding matters that concerned the two countries.

PRESENT — Lea was home-schooled with a Korean witch for a nanny/tutor/teacher. Nora tried to send her to preschool but the idea was shut down when Lea returned home with sand in her hair and her floral t-shirt smudged with chocolate. The girl was bullied for being ' different' and 'too yellow', despite being extremely fair for an Asian. Lea called London her home, but truthfully all she did for the pat six years was travel around the world with her diplomat mother. Ironically, not once during the six  years did she step her foot on Souh-Korean soil. Nora was pretty determined to cut all ties with her former husband.

Nora had scheduled for Lea to attend Hogwarts, but the Maseol acceptance letter actually crossed portals to get itself towards their front door. Apparently, Lea was still a legitimate daughter of the House of Jin, and a pureblood Korean witch like her was obligated to attend Maseol.

MASEOL —
1st Year: The Great Hall witnessed the Sorting Hat laughing like Mad Hatter when it rested on Lea's head. It cackled for a good five minutes before saying,"Another child of Anseung and Girim? My dear child, you are nothing like your parents nor your brother. Anseung and Girim are in your blood, but oh my, you will become a wonder one day, and therefore, WIDEOK!"  Murmurs were heard throughout the Great Hall, and at one corner of the Anseung table, Lea could see her estranged brother staring at her like she's dead meat. The Wideoks cheered and clapped, welcoming the very first child of Jin into their house. The rest of the year turned out to be pretty normal, other than that one time Lea played a life-sized wizarding chess againts one of her professors. Yikes. She did earn some sweet house points for Wideok. Yaay.

2nd-3rd-4th year: Nothing much, other than exploring the forgotten library, learning ancient runes in advanced and chanting the whole History of Magic, (Britain, South Korean, Japanese and France) to her friends. Not because she wanted to annoy them, but because her 'visions' were getting clearer. This year marked Lea's special bond with Professor Mayuzumi Hanako, with Lea pursuing both of her classes. Also in 3rd year, she took an additional five subjects in total: Arithmancy, Astronomy, Divination, Study of Ancient Runes and Care of Magical creatures. The amount of her bullies decreased, presumably because she had Sungjae, her 'self-proclaimed' bodyguard. Or was it because her older brother, Jong-In told everyone that he would kill them if they touched his baby sister? Oh, she was also named Maseol Qudditch Commentator, much to Professor Zhang Wen's dismay.

5th Year: A scandal erupted just a month before the students returned to Maseol. In the case of Jin Jaehwan vs Park Nora, a cold case was reopened to investigate the couple's youngest's son real cause of death. A rumour called Jaehwan a murderer, ending his son's life because the boy was a squib. Other's blamed Nora for her so-called negligence. Everyone who's anyone would be blind not to notice the change of behavior of the Jin siblings. Jong-In, now a 7th-year prefect of Anseung, was noticeably scarier. If only looks could kill. Lea on the other hand was even weirder. She came back...normal. No chanting, no random facts, nothing. The girl became very silent. At least she was still staring into spaces...But why did she look like she was in pain? Easy, her visions were on full drive. Despite all that, Lea still recieved all Outstandings in her O.W.L.s.

6th-7th Year: Jin Lea's secret was finally out of the bag. The girl was a seer, albeit different from her ancestors. People started avoiding her, even some of her friends. She did return to her loony ways, and continued her studies, wanting to pursue a career as a Curse-Breaker (Even though the ministry was practically on their toes waiting for her to graduate, so that she could be South Korea's offcial seer). Lea took on D.A.D.A, Transfiguration, Study of Ancient Runes (boy did Professor Bergstrom gave her a hard time), Potions (Professor Song was worse to be honest) and Charms (Professor Vincent was nice...as always) for her N.E.W.T. She went on one final adventure with her friends before N.E.W.T exams. She graduated as a co-valedictorian with 'The Bookworm' but opted as a Salutatorian instead.

FAMILY —
Father / Jin Jaehwan / 37 / calculative, strict, manipulative / FC: Hyun Bin
Jaehwan was indeed a true Anseung, sticking to his pureblood believes and despised muggleborns even to this day. He was the sole heir to the House of Jin and was currently grooming his son to be his replacement. Somewhere along the way, he may or may not forgotten that he indeed had a daughter whom he shared no traits with. Lea looked up to her father very much, even if she started calling 'Mr Jin' instead of 'Abeoji'. Jaehwan was always just a father to Lea, never a dad. However, his baby daughter was still his flesh and blood, heiress to the House of Jin. One wrong move, one insult, torment her and they will pay. Lea wass also very protective of her father. He may not be the best person out there, but she would readily cast a BogeyBat hex on you if you dare insult him, even if you're her muggleborn friend.

Mother / Park Nora / 37 / protective, charismatic, know-it-all / FC: Han Jimin
Nora was basically Hermione Granger incarnated. She stood for what she believed in and was very protective of Lea. She had known that Lea was a seer right from the beginning, and decided to take Lea with her in order to save her poor baby girl from torment and pressure from the Korean Wizarding World. They shared the sweetest mother-daughter realtionship ever. Lea wanted nothing more than to make her mother happy, as she was the one who never left. They also shared love for both history, runes and symbols. Lea clinged to her mother's love tightly as without Nora, Lea would be nothing. While others percieved Lea as a weird human being, nora knew that that's only her daughter's defensive mechanism working. Both of them were extremely protective of each other, and their love exceeded many. Nora was a charismatic diplomat, but her daughter, her dear baby girl, would always be her everything.

Older Brother
/ Jin Jongin / 14 / cunning, estranged, protective / FC: Kai EXO
Jongin was an Anseung Prince in the making, although he shared many titles with Han Taeyong and Song Sungeun (half of the twin vipers) He'd bullied other weak students (and even some strong ones, for being a blood-traitor) and charmed his way through the girls' hearts because that was what Anseungs (in his stereotypical opinion) do. At first, he despised Lea for returning as he thought that she's the reason their parents got a divorce, with her weird visions and seer abilities. He hated her, but never went as far as bullying her himself. He watched from afar his little sister getting bullied (but never those of his 'upper cliques', as in Sungeun and Taeyang, or Taeyong for the matter, because as 'weird' as Lea was, sisters and brothers, especially sisters were off limits), making a quick note in his mind to make her bullies suffer. As the years went by,  Jongin would learn that his baby sister was still the same lovable and harmless little girl he once knew, and would stop at nothing to protect her. Lea always smiled at her brother, despite the latter giving her death stares now and then. According to her idealist heart, she knew that her brother was good person. And again, one insult againts Jongin and you were infinitely done.

Grandmother
 / Yoon Byeol-Ok / 61 / wise, resourceful, loving / FC: Kim Misook
Byeol-Ok was a registered and retired official seer for the Korean Wizarding World. As Nora was always out of the country, Lea returned and lived with her grandmother during the holidays. Byeol-Ok nagged (matches that of Molly Weasely) her grand daughter a lot, always furrowing her brows at Lea's eccentric beliefs. However, she always sighed out a smile when Lea gave her one. To her, Lea was as precious as Jongin, and she loved all of her grandchildren the same.

Youngest Brother / Jin Tae-Ahn / 6-months-old, deceased
Tae-Ahn's death was the very first vision Lea had. Occasionally, Lea still dreamt of her brother, and what he might have become, despite being a squib.

Nanny / Anna Shin / 29 / Nanny/Tutor/Teacher/ FC: Park Shinhye
Lea absolutely apprciates the fact that Nanny Anna has always been there for her. In fact, many of the information she got was and is taught by Nanny Anna. But sometimes...man the woman can be a pain. Everything needs to be perfect, punctual, not even one detail should be left out. Nevertheless, Lea looks up to her nanny as a second mother figure, as naggy as she is, Nanny Anna is and will always be someone close to her heart.

FRIENDS

Best friends / Moon Hye-rin / 11 / loyal, kind, insecure
The night before boarding the train to Maseol, Lea's vision showed her a girl sitting alone in a separate compartment. The girl was definitely a muggleborn and her age. Armed with her hare bracelet and a copy of Easy Spells to Fool Muggles, she went on a search for the girl and d found Hyerin in approximately 2 minutes. Lea entered Hyerin's compartment and started to test her spells on the girl

When it didn't work, Lea said, "See, you are a witch, just like me. Muggleborns are gifted people you know."

"Are you a muggleborn?" asked Hyerin all wide-eyed and skeptical.

Lea smiled in a distant air of dottiness Hyerin could have sworn she was dealing with a nutjob, "Nop," she popped the p, "I'm a pureblood, but might as well be a muggle."

Hye-rin blinked.

Lea closed her spell book, "Lea, Jin Lea. When are you going to introduce yourself Rin-ah?"

Hyerin blinked, "How did you know my name?"

"I saw you in my vision," she paused and turned to the door, where the Honeydukes trolley was coming closer, "Oh look, sweets!"

Friends / The Brave Heart / Son Kyungmi / 11 / Social, adventurous, childish

"How on earth could you remember so much about history?!" Kyungmi asked one fateful day, when Lea had just finished rambling the entire history of the Wizards and Witched during the French revolution. There was something off about Lea, which was saying a lot. The Girim knew how 'loony' Lea could be, but today...her eyes were different, and was that pain?

"It helps me focus." Lea answered simply, her eyes a tad too pressed from her usual airiness.

"From what?"

The Wideok was silent for awhile, and at the corner of her eyes, Kyungmi saw the twin vipers across the Quidditch field. "....Things."

Lea had always had an eye for Kyungmi ever since the incident where Kyungmi bravely annouced that she wanted to be in Girim instead of Wideok, while Lea herself was sort of only given Wideok. It interested Lea how Kyungmi's nature could be divided and she was proud to have it that way. When it came to Kyungmi, Lea would always have a smile on her face as this girl was someone she'd surely wanted to be friends with. Despite the Girim's photographic memory, Kyungmi once stumbled in History of Magic (where she often got the details mixed up), and Lea helped her out through out their 1st and 2nd year. Also, their friendship grew stronger when they were deemed parners in ancient runes during their 3rd year. Kyungmi was one of those friends that Lea placed dearly in her heart, and the Jin heiress could only hope that Kyungmi felt the same. (Given how social she was, lmao.)

Friends / The Book Werm / Kim Jooyeon
They didn't start out on the best term, with the book worm being very factual and even said Lea's beliefs were wrong and insane. They are absolute rivals in academics, but friends and are fond each other nevertheless.

OTHERS —
Enemy / Jung Soyeon / 14 / Graceful, arrogant, dramatic
Soyeon was Jongin's unofficial on-again-off-again girlfriend. Dubbed Princess of Anseung during of her year, she first targeted 'weird' students like Lea, only to recieve a warning stare from Jongin when she went a prank too far. (Which involved a riddikulus spell and the vibakari appearing in Lea's school bag, shaking the poor girl beyond reason and sent her to the Hospital Wing for three days.)

♚ Bully 2 / Song Sungeun / 11 / Arrogant, driven, impulsive
When he arrived at Maseol, there were many things he'd expected, from the ghost to the talking portraits etc, but one of the most wtf is this real moments was when the sorting hat (or your method of choosing) boomed through the great wall informing everyone that Lea was an heiress to the house of Jin, therefore making her Jongin's younger ond only sister. Having came fromone of the most prestigous pureblood families, Seungeun's father had (not so subtly) planned out of his son's life, right down to the marriage point, where Jin Lea was one of the candidates named (because Mr Song was a compete psychopath that wanted to have control over everything and anything). To Seungeun, Lea was a complete lunatic and downright 'weird' , even more so than an oddball. Pureblooded or not, Seungeun wanted to have nothing associated with Lea. The boy respected Jongin alright, and sometimes wondered why on earth did someone as 'Anseung-ie' as Jongin would have a weirdo like Lea as a sister. If he didn't know any better, he'd think that Lea was switched at birth or smtg smtg.

That was until...their 6th year, when Seungeun was crowned as Maseol'd champion for the Triwizard tournament. During the third riddle, the boy hit a hard wall and couldn't decipher the code. It was in ancient chinese, and even with the help of Taeyang, it was still impossible. Therefore, Seungeun gathered up all of his might, pluck out perhaps 1/3 of his ego and went to ask help from Maseol's Ensyclopedia, Jin Lea.  Turns out, the riddle was a poem connected to some ancient dynasty, and Seungeun needed to perform a spell in fluent Chinese (instead of Latin) to break the code. When asked, Lea gave him a full 5 second stare before reciting the poem and performing the spell effortlessly.

When everything was done, he asked her. "Why did you help me?"

Seungeun was fully expecting one of those loyal s where 'nice' people said "because we're friends' or 'because you asked nicely' or 'because you looked like a lost puppy." from Lea, but instead, the Wideok caught him off guard.

"For leverage." She whispered in her airy tone, a bit too Anseung, even for the boy's standards.

"Excuse me?"

The girl's lips curved up a smirk worthy of an Anseung. Actually, worthy of a Jin, almost identical to what Jongin had been given him for the pass 5 years. "I helped you, Song Sungeun-shii. Therefore you owe me. Now, you may be an Anseung and you have all of those restricted pureblooded beliefs, but you remember your debts, and I'm going to take a full advantage of that."

An 11-year-old Sungeun would have threw a fit, but 16-year-old Sungeun returned the smirk. "What do I owe you then?"

"When the time comes, Sungeun-shii. you'll need to help me. You'll know when, and by then, you will help me. But as for now..."

Holy , she saw him in her vision didn't she?

She continued, "Stop bullying Hyerin. Or else I'll personally make sure to leave you crumbling under the Cupola own your own." After that, he saw her eyes twinkled back to their usual brown irises, and when she walked away from him, her distinct dottiness came back.

He had no idea what she meant of course, until the final battle...where her visions came through.

♚ Bully 1 /
Han Taeyang / 11 / Cunning, dedicated, impulsive
It is safe to say that Han Taeyang and Jin Lea have never spoken even one word to each in the first 6 years of their lives in Maseol. Sure, you'd have Lea giving an 'off' and 'doozy' plus 'indifferent' look when Taeyang muttured something bad about Hyerin, only to have his entire bagpack filled with bats when he opened them in Potions (Lea is a protector, no matter what others think), but mostly, nop, they have absolutely NO relationship.

However, Taeyang does catch glimpses of Lea's sad look everytime there is a package for Jongin from Mr Jin but none for her. Things may be far fetch, but somehow, Taeyang recognises that look. It's the very same look he tries to hide everytime his parents favour his brother more than himself.

Aaaand, Lea also somehow knows he and Shannon are dating 5th-7th year. He doesn't know whether it's his girlfriend who gets caught or whether he appears in Lea's vision (which is not the case, considering he has nothing to do with her almost death...or does he? Or maybe Shannon does? Dum dum dum). All and all, Taeyang has many bullying victims. Given Lea's status and downright indifference, she's not on his blacklist.

— YOOK SUNGJAE
jeon jungkook (bts) /kim taehyung (bts)/ Park bogum (actor)
NICKNAMES —
( ♚ — Yook; ) Yook means 'six' in Korean. According to him, anything associated with six, was his.
( ♚ — Mud-blood; ) A Muggleborn, nuff said,
( ♚ — Fox Freak; ) Sungjae's animangus, conjured almost immediately in 3rd year was a fennec fox. The boy was known to scare the out of his friends in his animangus form time and time again, despite the fennec fox being a tiny creature.

SUMMARY — Sungjae is essentially known for being a troublemaker. He is a cunning ball of fire that just loves jumping here and there and making messes out and about. He is playful and loves adventure, even though the school does not offer (more like forbids) much of it. Sungjae hates the feeling of being restricted as he has a wild side and would just love to roam free. The boy is impulsive and reckless, marking his name in the blacklist for quite some time now. However, Sungjae does have a sensitive heart. To him, objects are okay to get destroyed but not humans. His pranks are never to physically hurt others, he just enjoys the thrill of getting in trouble and seeing his professors' face go berserk.

If there was one kid many think that the Sorting Hat got wrong, it would be Sungjae. With that said, the boy is actually highly intelligent. However, he gets easily bored with theories and therefore can’t remember the things that the professors have taught him. He’s not the worst student out there, but his inconsistency and attention span of a Chihuahua make him fall into the bottom 5% , dragging Professor Zhang Wen to the brink of insanity.

Background: Born as the youngest son of the Yooks, Sungjae never knew of the wizarding world, not until his eldest brother received his acceptance letter to Maseol. His father, Yook Seok-Il was the Seoul Supreme Court judge while his mother, Kim Hyejeong was a Psychology professor at Ehwa's Women University. Sungjae's old man was a muggleborn alright, but it was his mother that was a squib. Hyejeong was the only daughter to the house of Kim, one of the most ancient pureblood family in South Korea. She was thrown out and had her name literally burned in the Kim's family tapestry when her magic didn't come. (Harsh, but that's the truth.) Hyejeong was discarded like the rest of pureblood-born squib and like each one of them, Hyejeong rose and bloomed in the muggle world. She met her husband when she was 23, and the rest was history.

Prior to his acceptance, Sungjae's eldest brother, Yook Seong-In was a 6th year student of Maseol, scheduled to be his year's Head Boy. During the holidays, 16-year-old Seong-In was playing with a 9-year-old Sungjae. A ball was lost, a temperemental Sungjae evolved and a drunk driver later, Seong-In's was pronounced dead. (He died trying to save Sungjae from being hit by a truck). That was when Sungjae's magic showed, as if all of his brother's magic transferred to him right afte rhis death. (This was not true of course. Sungjae had been born a wizard, but his powers had not shown itself yet.)

Trivia:

♚ Sungjae's animagus, the Fennec Fox, is also his patronus.
♚ His deceased brother was said to be one of the most talented muggleborns of his year. His brother was also the seeker and captain of Wideok Quidditch team.
♚ The House of Kim (that still has a few pureblood heirs) is well-known for their Fox patronuses.
♚ His
wand is a 10 1/4 inch Cypress, Gumiho Tail Core. - Cypress is known to go to those who are self-sacrifing.
♚ Sungjae is a musical genius. He has perfect pitch, sings extremely well and can play the piano, guitar and violin.
♚ Sungjae is pretty self-destructive. (Cues hexes on himself and drinking potions that make him a frequent student in the Hospital wing.)
♚ After witnessing his brother's death, Sungjae has since been able to see a
thestral

♚ He is first the seeker of Wideok, and is later appointed Captain (by Professor Zhang Wen herself!) . All and all, he's veeeeery fast on his broom.
♚ During his 4th Year, he was threatened by Professor Zhang Wen that if he didn't improve his grades, he would be dismiss from the Wideok Quidditch Team. Sungjae went on full drive and placed himself 3rd in his year. He then proceeded to place inthe top 5 throughout his years in Maseol, ultimately becoming the salutatorian during his 7th year, proving all along, that he is truly a Wideok.

— You can't blame gravity for falling in love.
FIRST MEETING — Despite being fellow Wideoks, Sungjae and Lea did not have any interactions until the 5th month of school. One late night, when everyone else was already asleep, Lea woke up to loud banging on the Wideok Common Room door. Apparently, Sungjae had failed to answer any of the questions correctly and was currently locked out. Lea recognized the voice as Sungjae's, with him as Wideok's star seeker troublemaker. He just got back from a detention given by Professor Zhang Wen and the (in his word) old hag knew that Sungjae couldn't answer most of the questions so he would be locked out. Without any thought, Lea opened the door and stepped out. Sungjae looked at her bewildered. Can't exactly blame the boy, Lea was indeed waering a confusing mix and match of baggy shirt with nightgown tucked underneath.

“Which came first, the phoenix or the flame?' 'The voice asked.

Hmm . . . What do you think, sunbae?' Asked Lea, looking thoughtful.

'What?'

"You’ve got to answer the question, silly" said Lea.

"Can't you answer it for me?'

"I could,' said Lea. 'But how would you learn, sunbae?"

'Yeah . . . Can't I learn some other time?  We can’t really afford to wait for anyone else, erm, Aegi." Sungjae half-whined, looking at the small girl.

Lea blinked at the affectionate nickname, the realization that other Wideoks were already asleep came later than usual.

"No, I see what you mean,' said Lea seriously. 'Well then, I think the answer is that a circle has no beginning.'

"Well reasoned," said the voice, and the door swung open.

RELATIONSHIP

1st Year-2nd Year: After the phoenix incident, Sungjae tried very hard to get out of trouble. It was already quite embarrassing for him to get help from a little kid. He tried studying a few (according to him) useless facts little by little, and actually got a few guesses right. There were still times where he needed help and somehow, Lea just had to be there. The girl would look at him like she’s disappointed and after light bantering (from his side), Lea answered the question right (of course she did) and the two manage to enter the room. Sungjae was the youngest in his family, and so he slowly took fond of this little girl, even if she is Jin Jong-In, Muggle-born hater, Anseung’s spawn’s youngest sister. Lea called him sunbae, even though he acted more like a kid than she ever did. In Lea’s mid 2nd year, Sungjae once knocked on her bedroom windows (because he got yet another attention and didn’t want to answer trivias)… about 100 feet high up on his broom to get inside. Even Lea was perplexed. (Professor Zhang Wen saw this by the way, but opted against punishing the boy because his flying skills made her proud lmao.) When the deed was done, Sungjae gave Lea a Bowman Wright trading card.

“Bowman Wright,” a happy smile crept up his dried lips, “the inventor of the Golden Snitch.”

Lea blinked, perhaps confused for the very first time.

Sungjae laughed, “It’s my very first card. Got it on the Maseol Express even before I was officially a student here. What are the odds right?”

“Then,” she paused, looking at the card like it was the national treasure, “isn’t it valuable?”

“Technically, it was only 6 sickle. But yeah…you keep it, Aegi.” He stood closer and ruffled her hair, “As a thank you from me.”

“But sunbae!” She called the boy who was walking away, “are you sure?”

“Yeah,” he smiled again. “Help me again and I might give you a real snitch.”

3rd-4th Year: As the newly appointed Quidditch commentator, Lea showed extreme favouritism in favour of her house, Wideok during the Wideok vs Anseung Quidditch finals in her 4th year. The two seekers were Sungjae for Wideok and Lea’s own brother Jong-in for Anseung. The girl gave a very detailed commentary on the snitch and each team’s tactics, revealing a lot of Anseung’s strategy because damn she’s observant. When Sungjae caught the snitch, Jong-In stormed down to Lea at her desk and bellowed, “YAH! I’M YOUR BROTHER! YOUR FREAKING BROTHER! WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING DEGRADING ME LIKE THAT?!”

“I wasn’t degrading you, sunbae,” she emphasized, “I was simply supporting my team. Loyalty is very important you know.”

Jongin’s eyes got redder, “Loyalty my . When father hears of this—“

“What the hell are you doing?” The Jin siblings turned their heads, only to found Sungjae eyeing them suspiciously.

“ it off, Fox Face. This is between me and my sister,”

“Sister?” Sungjae laughed maniacally, “You’re finally acknowledging her existence after what? three years? Now, just because she supported her team house and not her stupid, sore loser of a brother you’re attacking her? And I thought you pureblood breeds have more dignity than that.”

“Why you—“

“I suggest you run along. The Captains and professors are coming, don’t want to get into any trouble, would you? What would your father say?”

Jongin looked at Lea, and the girl only kept quiet. She wouldn’t even meet him in the eyes.

He pursed his lips, “I’m not done with you, baby sister.” Then, he stormed off.

“You okay?” Sungjae asked the girl.

“Sunbae,” Lea said, tears starting to gather in her eyes, “Next time,” she coughed, “don’t call my brother any of those names.”

And he watched her stormed off.

Was she mad at him? Absolutely. Sungjae wrecked his brain to apologize. However, when Wideok was officially crowned that year’s Quidditch House Cup champion, Sungjae could have sworn he saw Lea smiling at him far on the bleachers next to a Namgeon, Moon Hye-rin, a fellow muggleborn.

5th Year: This marks the year where the case of Lea’s parents goes to its . The press were even attempting to penetrate Manseol just to interview the Jin siblings. Lea’s aloofness and ignorant attitude made Sungjae scared for the girl. He would rather have her gone loony than to be this…this…normal. Real feelings started to surface this year, for both Lea and Sungjae. The latter would ignore his feelings and try to mess around with Lea, but failing miserably as he’d hear his heart racing like mad whenever he came near her. ‘Normal’ Lea seemed distant, only focusing on her O.W.L.s, shutting everyone completely. One of the weekends after her exams, Sungjae got the courage to ask her out to Honeydukes (or it’s equivalent). Lea seemed to get better after that. He even asked her out for Yule Ball (much to Jong-In’s dismay lmao)

6th Year: During all the craziness, a price that came for admitting that she was indeed, a seer, Sungjae stayed and never once ran away, even going as far as hexing those who dared torment her. Mid-year, in advanced D.A.D.A, Lea’s hare patronus morphed into a fox, surprising everyone in the room. (Professor Kwon: Aren’t you too young to be in love?) Word got out, and Sungjae couldn’t help but feel conflicted…yet delighted and proud. Things got extreeeeemely awkward after that, Lea couldn’t even sit near Sungjae in the Great Hall, or else she’d be risking her friends teasing her for an eternity. In the final match of the Quidditch House Cup, (Namgeon/Girim/Anseung) vs Wideok, Sungjae won the match for Wideok when he managed to capture the snitch. He had the honour of keeping it as Seeker and Captain of Wideok, but ultimately, he gave the snitch to Lea, finally giving her a ‘real one’ instead of trading cards, and they officially dated.

7th Year: With Sungjae graduating and heading into Auror training, Lea felt a bit lonely, with Hye-Rin being a Namgeon and all. She had other Wideok friends, but none was as close to Sungjae (well, he was her boyfriend lmao). Lea no longer wore her Butterbeer cork necklace as she had Sungjae’s snitch-necklace gift with her all times.

CONCLUSION — The two got married five years after Lea graduated.  (Sungjae proposed in ancient runes, and Lea actually wore a normal wedding dress for the occasion ). Sungjae continued working as an auror for the next ten years, and was even offered the spot for Head auror at the age of 28. He ultimately decided to resign and return to Hogwarts as a Professor of Ancient Runes (oh the beauty of falling in love with Loony-Lea. Oh, he'd be working under Professor Zhang Wen too. Muahaha) and Music. Lea on the other hand worked as a Curse-Breaker, handling cases all over the world. The couple had been dubbed a ‘weekend’ couple by their friends.

Even so, Sungjae and Lea would later have four halfblood children, Yook Yeong Hae (meaning eternal sun) Yook Ae Ryeong (meaning love bell), Yook Ae Rin (meaning love jade) and Yook Yeong Un (meaning eternal clouds). Lea’s father opposed to their marriage at first, however it was Jongin that managed to convince him. After all, he still had a pureblood grandson from Jongin, and that was what mattered (according to him).

— PARTING IS SUCH SWEET SORROW.
FAMOUS LAST WORDS — *Waves awkwardly* Erm, hi? lol. So as you can see, my character is based a LOT on Luna Lovegood, cause she's really the first person you think about when 'eccentric' comes to mind, no? Gotta be honest, I didn't actually read the books, so many things in my app I got from harrypotter wiki lmao. I tried my best to be detailed, but everything I wrote down can be changed. I just hope that you see 'The Odd Ball' in Lea. Teehee. Sooo, the House of Jin is the Malfoy equivalent (tho I suppose the Bully would be from a Malfoy equivalent family too) and the House of Kim (which discarded Sungjae's mother like a piece of trash) is the equivalent to the House of Black.

By the way, I'm not used to rookie groups, and I figured lots of applicants will be having BTS as love interests so I went with BTOB's Sungjae instead. However if you noticed, I did put EXO's Kai's as Lea's brother so hopefully tha'll get me some brownie points? No? Yes? Uh'oh hahaha.

PS: I know that winners don't actually get to keep the Quidditch snitch but I thought it'd be romantic for Sungjae to give it to Lea so what the heck right? Oh and, it might seem like I wrote down Wideok had won Quidditch every year, but that's not the case. They only won the finals twice, first during Lea's 4th year and 6th. Hee.

P.S.S: I know that there are many plotholes in Lea's parents storyline. I could explain more, about the case and everything but I'd like to give you the freedom? The main story is that Lea is a pureblood but had lived as a muggle-like life and her estranged father may or may not acknowledge her existance. Tho, judging by everthing I wrote in the family section, you can say that all members of the House of Jin are extremely protective of each other. hee. Aaaaaaand during the 5th-6th year, where Lea turned out to be a seer? That secret came out during the Jin Jehwan vs Park Nora battle. I know being a seer is nothing to be ashamed of, but because Lea's inner eye and vision are slightly different, it makes her...well, a weirdo I guess.

P.S.S: Excuse my English, not a native speaker yikes. Thank you dear!
