Not the best description but I'm already like ten chapters in and decided to post it. First time writing a EXO fanfic so let's see how it goes..

12 people with special and unique powers where born onto the earth. These twelve each have their own other half, there perfect match. Along with their match each member holds the abilities to control some element or mind ability. This was learned by a group of scientist and which is why we were here now. To study us, to understand why we needed our second half to understand what was going on with our abilities; most importantly they liked the idea of allowing us to be their new test dummies.
I was pushed back into the cell that the four of us were kept in. It was dirty, cold and had this rotten smell that you eventually got used to, but it was home for now…Today was the same as every other day here in, the tests the compatibility the power enhancements that they were trying to work through our systems. It was grueling and abusive and the pain eventually went away to a point where you didn’t feel anything anymore.
Baekhyun was lying on the ground beside me drained like the rest. Yixing had come rushing over in order to heal Baekhyun from the burn marks from the fire rocks they throw at us and the incision marks from the needles that they’ve injected into us just to see how we would react to different chemicals and viruses in order. It was probably the worst part about this entire ordeal.
“Luhan you alright, you were hurt too,” Baekhyun said staring at me as Yixing was healing the marks. Baekhyun was the reason that I was still alive, honestly he was the one person that I knew was keeping me together. I needed to get Baekhyun back he needed to see his Pair again.

Description
Twelve young men, twelve forces of elements that balance the world. Divided into two groups to balance the ying and yang, each of the twelve members have offensive and defensive members. Out of all the twelve members, Suho, the water guardian, was choosen to become the leader of the young men known as Exo.
But being the leader of the elements is no game. All the twelve elements are one with him, and so does he. If one of the elements become corrupted, it is Suho that will pay the price. Being the leader he had to make sure all the elements remained united as one.
But when one of them become corrupted, Suho is begin to feel the effect. This is when another revelations came; in order to balance all the twelve elements, there will one more person exist alone, as a balancer. When the elements are out of control and Suho's life is at stake, this is when the person comes in.

Suho sighed. Although he knows this going to be a mock battle, he still didn't like the idea of using their elements against each other. Kris, although often appeared serious, this time he looks a bit mischievous, in fact, he had been grinning from ear to ear from the beginning.
"Ready Suho?"
Suho nodded.
Kris let out a cry, "Here I come!!"
