Baekhyun Oneshot: Just like Christmas day

Baekhyun held your hand in his coat as you two walked down the streets. They were decorated with twinkling lights that made your eyes light up. He would always take a peek at you just to see your cute smile. The feeling of you next to him made his heart flutter and he loved it.

"Baekhyun." you called to him softly.

"Yes my love?" he replied dreamily.

"I like this."

"Like what?"

"All of this. The cold, the lights, the feeling of Christmas. I wish it could be the holidays all year round." you put your head on his shoulder.

"Me too." he sighed and kissed your forehead.

"I can't wait for you to open your present, though."

"What did you get me?" he asked.

"I can't tell you." you gave him a look and he chuckled.

"I think you'll like your gift too. It's perfect, just like you." he poked your nose, which caused you to scrunch your face. He awed at the cuteness and kissed your nose. "So cute."

You smiled giddily and hugged his arm. "Let's go get hot cocoa."

"Ok." he nodded and pulled you to a nearby cafe.

You were happy. It was the first Christmas you would spend with Baekhyun, and hopefully not your last.

"____." he called to you.

"Hmm?"

"Let's go. Get you out of this cold." he handed you your drink and automatically took your hand in his. It was a natural reaction. If he wasn't holding your hand, nothing felt right.

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through your apartment, there was darkness and silence as you and Baekhyun slept. But you didn't know, that Baekhyun was awake and watching you sleep. He wanted to let you continue sleeping, but the moment was perfect. He shook you lightly and you rolled over.

"____. Get up." he whispered.

"Is it christmas?" you mumbled.

"Midnight exactly."

"... Can't we celebrate Christmas at eight?"

"Come on, I have a surprise for you." he got up and tugged your arm cutely. You sighed and got up to follow him to the livingroom. You were surprised to see the tree lights on, the fireplace lit, and a few candles placed here and there.

"What is all this?" You asked.

"Sit." he had set some blankets and pillows on the floor. He pat his crossed legs, indicating that he wanted you to sit on his lap. You did and he put his arms around you.

"What is it?" you asked.

Baekhyun reached out and grabbed a box from under the tree. "Open it."

You did as told and found a cute little box inside. You looked at him and opened the small box. A sweet little tune played and you smiled.

"It's so cute. Thank you."

"Just wait." he started the tune from the beginning. And then he started to sing.

You were in awe of his soft and beautiful singing voice as he serenaded you in the dim lights. When he finished he looked at you with a loving gaze that melted your insides.

"I wrote it just for you." he told you sheepishly. You set the box down and turned so you could hug him.

"I love it."

He melted into your embrace and nudged his nose in your hair. "I love you." You pulled back and kissed him softly, which was the best feeling in the world. Each kiss was always like your first.

You sat back between his legs with your back against his chest. You grabbed the music box and set it on your lap. "Sing to me again."

Baekhyun laughed softly and put his arms around you. "Anything for you love."

I would die if Baekhyun ever sang to me...
