[Exo fanfics and just Exo rant] If you're a crazy Exo fan then please don't read this I don't want to be slaughtered

*No offense ment by this. Just sayin' what I feel*

First of all, the AFF FEATURES. LOOK AT THEM TODAY. THEY ARE ALL LITERALLY KAI AND OC. NOTHING ELSE. THIS PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH. I'd be a little better with some exo variety in the features. . Something. But I would like it if like, say, a VIXX fanfics was featured. Because, for one, I would actually read it. And two, if fanfic gets that popular on a site with barely any VIXX readers, then has to be good. It just has to. But lately, all the features are the same and it just annoys me so much.

I'm a fan. I love Exo, and I'm not a hater. Please dont take offense, everyone has their opinion.

 

On to the actual Exo.

 

Okay. Exo is talented. I'm not denying that, I'm not saying that's not true. They have the vocals, rappers, dancers. They have unique trucker voices and voices that can hit incredibly high notes. 

They are also attractive. They are also signed onto the biggest company in kpop. They are also very weird. 

BUT

They aren't that good. I'm sorry. But they aren't. Their company is big and they're an unusually big group and they have songs. Good songs. Not GREAT songs. Good, catchy songs. They shouldn't be winning every single award that they can win. They're still rookies. They are very popular.

Okay, fine. They can be popular. They can also have a huge amount of crazy fans who invade Baekhyun's brothers wedding. Sure. 

 

But there is other groups. And, believe it or not, those groups are actually good. They aren't winning as much as, or at all, what they should be with their songs. They come from a smaller company, and they have a smaller amount of members, and they have really good songs. Songs that are, sometimes, better than Exo's. *gasps* CAN THAT EVEN BE POSSIBLE?

 

So where's their award?

I love this post lol. xD I'm not hating, I actually don't mind their popularity, but they're over rated. they're talented, yes, but i doubt they'll be that popular if they debuted under smaller company. enough said.

Oh and about the fics, most of the time I think ppl don't really care about the story as long as exo is in it. hmm -____- . I had read a fic before with exo as the character and the story has a lot of subscribers and comments and all, but it really . The grammar, the flow, everything. O.O

Sometimes, I would flirt with the idea of re-writing one of my UKISS fic and change the characters to EXO JUST to see how Exotics would respond to them. Would I get a crazy amount of response? Subscribers? Comments? Etc? Because obviously they don't care what the story is about as long as it stars their precious EXO members...

Not saying I'm an anti-fan of theirs, but like you said, if EXO had debuted under another company, they MOST LIKELY wouldn't be as popular.

I agree about what you said. I would LOVE to see a variety for once on the feature stories, but I don't see that EVER happening. Sometimes, I do give the random story a chance because *GASP* it isn't about EXO! OTL

I actually really want to reply to this but after typing and deleting so many times because everything I want to type sounds offensive, all I can say is that I have the exact sentiments. @_@ I do listen to Exo and I do like them but sometimes I think that it's sad for other bands who have great songs but can't win a single award because their fans are not as .. uh.. crazy*I mean in terms of voting and buying loads of albums*?

Oh gosh I agree with this so much, but I totally agree with Daiana1's comments!
People seem to upvote EXO fics no matter how good they are, and the majority of time the featured fics are really cliche KaixOC fics where the title is typical: "My husband is a KINGKA?!!??!" and the character is perfect (but totally unpopular and is just total wish fulfillment of the author) and the plot is awful and the fics haven't even been proofread and OMG it just annoys me.

I'd love to see a VIXX or even an Infinite fic featured. I was maybe going to try and get everyone to upvote the Secret Santa and get it featured but it needs like 400 upvotes to beat the featured fics x.x

I don't hate EXO nor do I like them, but I think of they weren't sighned under SM,they would most certainly be not as popular as they are now.

Oohh I totally agree with you, dude I'm so sick of seeing the features now. It's like seriously getting out of hand. Too much of a good thing doesn't make it so good anymore. I wish other groups had a chance too :/

Every one can have different opinion; whether a group is good or not depends on each one preference. You consider vixx or maybe other group better, but other person might think otherwise and that's fine.

I happen to like exo, but that doesn't mean I despise the others (I mean it would be kinda boring if we listen the same song over and over again every single day because we considered ourselves as a devoted person, it's a group, not religion lol).

I personally, even though I love exo, hardly check the feature section, because most don't meet with my taste, and that's fine by me, because a whole lot others might like them thus they got feature. Anw, congrats for vixx first winning ^3^ *fleeting away to see more vixxsoo interaction*

I feel you so much. I mean I like exo I like their songs and read their fanfics but sometimes I feel like exo is just being pushed on me. everywhere I look it is always exo this and exo that. I to honest I think that is how I started listening to them because they where everywhere and I wanted to know what was all the fuss was about. they do have good song that I like do not get me wrong. but they do not have love that I love like other groups do. like I love vixx so much. they have good songs as well songs that I love. like only you I ing love that song. I got off point there sorry. but like I was saying there are other groups. exo is not all that high and mighty. there are so many boy groups that you can pick from.
