So... yeah...

I had an early entry ticket so I got in that queue about 3pm. And I wasn't at the front but not at the back. The queuing was really orderly and organised. No pushing or shoving or anything like I heard the NY concert was like (I didn't think it would be cos does anyone know the stereotype of British people and queues? Its true. We believe in orderly queues!) 

Doors opened at 7 and everyone filed in. Bags were checked for big cameras and we all got to keep our drinks (unlike other concerts I've been to). 

Now here was the problem. The Apollo Eventim Theatre is a theatre. It isn't built as a concert venue. It has a low stage and is flat at the very front. Normally it is filled with seating and if it has a rare concert it doesn't normally matter cos they are normally bands. 

So I have to say the venue was unsuitable... why was it chosen in the first place?! (I'm sure they had their reasons but try reasoning with pushy fangirls and then you have the patience to deal with "reasons").

At the beginning people had plenty of space though obviously they were congregated towards the front. That was until it started. I was standing about 4/5 people back right at the centre. I thought I would have space (cos the standing area was ing huge!). I was wrong! The general entry fans decided that they wanted to get as near to the stage as possible. Which okay I get, you love your oppas, but don't try and trample the people in front of you! 

One girl was crying within the first song. I didn't even hear anything until Inception. I was being pushed and shoved and I was trying to block the crowd from the couple of tiny girls in front of me. None of them could see a thing cos the stage was so low. It was only a few feet off the ground. I couldn't even see them properly and I was one of the taller ones. 

Another couple of girls got shoved to the ground and nearly trampled. Me and another person had to block the crowd again and try and drag them up (not easy when so many people wanted to see Infinite). 

The security team were trying to do what they could. They were pulling out girls within the first 5 minutes. They were distributing water. I think they even moved the barricades forward at one area cos the fans were being crushed.They asked Infinite to tell the crowd to mve back and not push. But at the centre, at the front it was awful. I felt suffocated and I have been in some tight spaces. I was being elbowed in the stomach and the girl was apologising constantly but she couldn't help it.

Finally after Can You Smile a tiny Korean girl next to me was stuck and couldn't get out of the crowd. I needed to leave so I elbowed my way out dragging her with me (my good deed for the day :P)

The view at the back was good. The standing area sloped upwards about 10ft back from the stage and at the back you could see over everyone and had a great view. I alternated between standing at the back and at the right side of the stage but  go towards the front and your view was automatically restricted as the members pretty much disappeared. Also there was loads and loads of room at the back!

The bass was dreadful. I could only hear the beautiful voices of the beautiful boys half the time and even then it was deafened by the live band. The lights were way too bright and you'll see on the videos that the lights were on constantly and I nearly had a fit during Sungyeol and Sungjong stage. OMG they should have warnings. My eyes aren't sensitive but I was blinking and struggling through most of the concert.

And so all the bad crap is over. And now on to the good stuff.

INFINITE! The whole reason I went on a 4 1/2 hr train ride, got a hotel room for 2 nights, and bought a early entry ticket. 

They were worth it... even the pain I am in now. 

Seriously, I don't know how they managed to perform with all the that was happening in front of them. (most of the performances had guards pulling audience members out of the crowd due to them being squashed).

Sunggyu's and Woohyun's voices were amazing. Sunggyu's smile *dies*. Myungsoo is gorgeous.

Hoya is as handsome as L imo, his cheeks and facial structure was amazing. Dongwoo was so smily and happy and buzzing with energy, he reminds me of Taeyang slightly in that he could never really stay still and he moves so fluidly.

Sungjong was so pretty. His pink hair was so dishevelled at the end! He looked exhausted. I just wanted to take him home and feed him! *plans kidnapping*. Sungyeol had his hair cut! And it looked so good. He had the sides shaved with two grooves (whatever they are called?) in the short shaved sides. Myungsoo was them and Sunggyu kept trying to touch them at the end. Sungyeol looked kinda annoyed but also like he expected it. Its new so I'm guessing the members have been touching it a lot (that sounds so wrong lol).

Woohyun got mobbed in the balcony when he went to do his solo. He had to get rescued by security lol. 

All of their english was so bad. But it such an adorable way. Sunggyu was so hesitated with his speech, which he made in English. He said he was so thankful to all of the fans because without us and our support Infinite would never be performing the UK and he was really touched by the love that they received (or something to that affect - I'm paraphrasing).

They all said they loved London and they wanted to come back. I wasn't able to make out alot cos people kept screaming when they were talking and since they had heavy accents I could barely decipher their talks. They also screamed over the translater - why would you do that? The translator is important and we need to hear her!

Plus the cheesy lines that these guys learn! Who teaches them English? I don't know whether to squeal or cringe lmao

So Infinite needs better staff ie tech guys and also whoever checks the venues. But otherwise they should continue being all cute and adorble and perfect.

Plus I am NEVER going in standing EVER again. From now on seating! If all fans are that crazy I am not going anywhere near them. Majority are fine its just the few that ruin it for everyone.

Anyway I'm going to bed cos my feet hurt and my ears are still ringing. My eyes are good now though cos otherwise I wouldn't be typing this.
