Ringa Linga
YG Life's latest post on Taeyang's soon-to-be-released single really intrigued me. It says that its lyrics were by G-Dragon and Tokki. TOKKI who? I only know one Tokki in Korea. And it's not an animal. And is from YG.
Is it Granny Dara?
Yep, I'm reminded of those Daragon tweets last April when GD asked grandma for inspiration so he could come up with lyrics to a song, and Dara came to his rescue though at a price. The related posts or articles I've read noted that grandma might be a pun for grandpa which sounds like inspiration in Korean. (Then why didn't he use grandpa?) There were also comments that GD might be writing a song for Taeyang's album.
Anyway, back to grandma. I remember reading a GD/Big Bang fan's comments on another Daragon convo. The one that came after Dara's surprise appearance during GD's Crayon perf in the last Gayo Daejun. She (I'm assuming the fan's a female) said she's from Korea and tried to explain the underlying message/tone of GD's tweets. I think she wrote that GD calling Dara Darong is similar to the way Koreans address someone older--or maybe old people--in an affectionate manner. That, if I understood it correctly, he was being formal and cute at the same time.
So, what do you think?
