PAIRING OTP GAYNESS on KPOP

i have a  theory about the gayness and pairing on Idol groups. again, it’s just my theory so no hating please.

i don’t really think KPOP fans like their Idol to be gay. not that i mind if they really are. as long as they make good music, gender or preference is not an issue. i think for most fans, it gives them a sense of security that their Idol will never break up. especially if they start dating each other because technically THEY WILL be TOGETHER TOGETHER, right?

an outsider, pose as a threat because, whether they admit it or not, they could influence the members, be it good or bad for the band. take SHINHWA as an example. we know that whatever happens, THEY WILL STICK TOGETHER LIKE SUPERGLUE but an outsider can influence them. especially if this outsider is a potential lifetime  partner. SHE COULD BE THE MOST influential person on the particular member’s life. 

SHINHWA has proven their loyalty to each other. no question about that. 15 years of friendship is enough to make this assumption a fact but still, no one can predict the future. i think this is why most fanfics are centered to “bromance”. fans are afraid that an outsider might change their IDOL’s views.

Hmmm, yeah i pretty much agree with you.

I, for one though, actually do want shinhwa to get married. Because no matter how much we hate to acknowledge it, reality is harsh. Despite all of our shinhwa forever and 6-1=0 cheers, theyre going to grow older and theyre going to lose popularity and theyre not going to be in the industry forever. Sure they may stay friends until the end of their lives, but will they be performers forever? No. If decrease in popularity doesnt take them out, their age will. They cant dance forever. They cant sing forever. Theyre not gonna have their fans forever.

So because of that harsh reality, they need someone who will be by their side and take care of them and truly love them until the end of their days. I want them to get married, but of course it will be up to them whether they do so or not- its just that when they do decide, we shouldnt stop them and instead support them. As much as we all say it, we're not going to be here for them forever and neither will they, so they do need to get married.

As for me just writing /bromance: it's because i just generally dont write hetero at all lol. I find writing or reading it boring. Which is why i never do it. XD

I might sound crazy and not like other fans but I would love it when shinhwa gets married. I wish they will have a happy marriage life and still make music. Weird? Mostly because it is already IMPOSSIBLE to marry them. I have no idea what those other hardcore fans are thinking about seriously!

I think you are right that an outsider they are dating can influence them like Dongwan putting on muscles because his ex girlfriend said he was so thin.

I like pairings because two awesome idols are together it just looks so freaking cute>_<

I guess I can say I am afraid that an outsider would influence. Not the looks, but more on attitude and loyalty to shinhwa. But after all these years, I think it is right that we let them have their happiness right?
