Ok so being as paranoid as I get, I looked into SM's contract stuff. And believe me! You do NOT know how much contradicting information was given! Anywayyy...

This is basically what I got:

SM used to have 13 year contracts with all their artists. But after the TVXQ and Hangeng incedent they shortened the contracts to 10 years, to make it fare. So the earlier artist have longer contracts, as far as I know, or they could have been changed to 10 years.

(*Warning this is not 100% accurate, but it is a pretty good asumption, I researched a lot so I believe it is pretty close to the truth*)

Kangta = 1996-2009 *renewd contract in 2010* -2020

BoA = 2000-2013 *Has to decide either to leave or stay sometime this year*

TVXQ = 2003-2016 *three more years*

Super Junior = 2005-2018 *five more years*

Girls G. (SNSD) = 2007-2020 *seven more years*

SHINee (I don't know if they have the 13 or 10 year contract so I am gonna use 13) =2008-2021 *eight more years*

Ten Year Contract Pops Up

f(x) = 2009 - 2019 *six more years*

EXO = 2012-2022 *nine more years*

I hoped this helped anyone who was worrying about it as much as me :P So Sones just because Kara's Nicole is leaving her group, doesn't mean that SNSD is spilting or that their contract is ending soon. And E.L.F Heechul was right in saying that they should start thinking about the future cause before you know it five years are gonna pass.
