Hongryeon is outwardly driven. outgoing, outspoken, talkative, an overall extrovert, it's easy for her to gather the attention of other people. Don't be fooled with her childish look, her mentality is very mature. she's more logical than emotional, she knows how to put aside her emotion when it's needed.
She's assertive and strong willed. a natural born leader. someone who paves her own path in life. even though most of the time she keeps her cool, she can sometimes become very hotheaded and rushed. sometimes she's stubborn too, especially when it comes to the things that matters most to her.

personality traits: quiet, cool, seemingly distant, but in fact he's like, the randomest, dorkiest person you'll ever meet.
powers:
familial power (wu):
desire manipulation - for him, literally, he can control how much he wants other people/animal/things to love him. affection manipulation. 
Personal power:
psychometry - the ability to receive past information of a person/thing just by using senses. for his case, out of the five senses, he has to use the sense of smell to trigger his power. (yeah, so he has to sniff around to get things done).
meeting: he fell from the sky, hitting her square on the head, knocking her unconscious. nice first impression... 
interactions: she appears to be cold and abrasive toward kris, for no particular reason. (psst: tsundere alert) so, she looses her patience very quickly around him, gives him snarky comments, pranks him a lot, etcetc (even though inside she's kindda romantically attracted to him). all this basically happens because he's just a type that's can't convey his feelings really well, and hongryeon is tired of seeing his mostly void of emotion, marble-like face. 
finding: he sniffed her up. yup. sniff sniff. it was awkward, and honryeon was immediately thrown off, but it made him realize who she really was. he decided to not tell her. he wanted to see what she genuinely felt about him. genuinely. so he also didn't use his desire manipulation on her (later, he found out that it doesn't work on her anyways). in the end, after she'd finally managed to warm him up, getting a few whole-hearted laughs here and there, he finally told her the truth. at first, she felt hurt. she felt that he was testing her (which he did). but in the end, all was well, all was well.
ending: together (duh :P) it was slow (reaaallyyy slow, and awkward, and borderline humorous), but they got there eventually...

planetal power:
gravity manipulation - She can manipulate gravity around her, increasing or decreasing it. by increasing gravity, she can make her surroundings heavier, denser. example of use: crushing matters by exerting immense pressure or adhering people to the ground. by decreasing it, she can levitate object, even herself, and control it to her will.
familial power (ryu): 
adaptation - it's more of a defense mechanism. for her, she has the ability of atmospheric/pulmonary adaptation. the ability to instantaneously adapt to any given atmospheric environment.
personal power:
blood manipulation - blood bending. the ability to control the movement of other people/animals that have blood in their veins.

weaknesses:
- for her gravity manipulation: she can only do one thing at a time. either increase or decrease. it took a lot of concentration if she wants to manipulate things other than herself, and it quickly drains her energy.
- for her adaptation: won't last forever. also, even though she can survive gaseous poisons/toxins, she would still be killed if the poison is directly injected to her blood.
- as for her blood manipulation: very draining, could possibly kill her if used to an extent.

her mother is the high priestess of the kingdom. her father was the 'wing bearer', the right hand man of the king. he died from a freak accident when hongryeon was still in the womb. when she was born, the king betrothed his son to her, to show respect and gratitude for her family's loyalty. (originally, if hongryeon was to be a boy, the king promised to regard him as one of the king's own son.)

my mission

she lives very happily on earth. very happily. the first few weeks she had a few moments of culture and environmental shock (earth's atmosphere is denser than her planet's), but that's the only hard phase. she get along well with her 'homestay parent', and even better with her 'homestay brother'. she helps around in her 'father's' shop, she also works in the nearby coffee shop. overall, her life is beautiful.

she was sent to earth earlier than the other girls, spending almost half of her life on earth. this was all because of her mom. being a high priestess at the kingdom, she managed to persuade the king to let her go on what she called as a 'spiritual journey'. yes. her mother is the reason why she's so into spiritual and new age stuffs.
she didn't know that she's engaged to anybody. her mother didn't tell her because she personally thought that it would ruin the surprise. weirdly, so does the king. 
about the family she lives with on earth, they're actually her mother's cousin, twice removed, who moved to earth after his wife was killed in the same freak accident that killed hongryeon's father.

interactions: hongryeon tries her best not to slap her across the face. same goes for danhae. they're both clever, they know when to fight their fights, and something told them that it's not the right time yet. looking at them interact is very funny. because they would act very politely everytime the other is around.
life on earth: she works in a tea ceremonial place just a few blocks a way from her coffee shop. 
story: danhae is not exactly evil, she's just blind. it was all about filial piety. being a good (and only) daughter, the only thing she could say was 'yes' to follow her family's quest for power.
ending: she would realize that the motives of her family is diabolical. if she earned it during the course of the story, then she would realize that it's okay to defy her family's sick obsession of power. but if she was being too stubborn and still felt a huge amount of pride for her family, then she'll have to die/be defeated one way or another.
