personality ► Confidence does not mean arrogance or ignorance, in Ara's mind it's being sure of yourself and your own abilities. And that she is. She's a level headed, passionate and rational girl with a warm, pure personality. She doesn't think there's a single thing wrong with knowing your own heart and mind, which she claims she does. Her honesty and compassion drive her along way in life, along with her perseverence to do well and succeed, and make herself proud, as that's what counts, doing your best. Her heart is firmly in the right place and she tries to do her best whenever and however she can, even if it means making sacrifices and putting others before herself. Ara's weakness is also her strongest attribute. She has a strong wit but will not speak for the sake of it. She's very logical as well as thoughtful, meaning she'll take extra time to mull and think things over to take it in completely before making a comment or decision.
This has often caused issues for the raven haired girl as unknowingly she has offended others by coming across either rude or just one who wasn't listening. She is neither, and nor is she shy. Given the chance, or if you take the time to check her body language whilst talking to her or being in her company, you'll come to realise it's obvious the girl is giving you her entire attention. It's all in her eyes. Her eye smile is contagious as one look at her almond shaped eyes when she's smiling confirms that she's full of life and is positively radiant. Her laugh, too, although mostly only a light giggle, is a good tell tale sign that she's a positive, uplifting character. She will never break eye contact if you're engaged in conversation, it's a sign of respect for the other person and what they have to say.
Beneath this strong, composed nature of hers, she has surprisingly naive tendancies, and can be a little too trusting for her own good. Her longing and belief to see the beautiful in everything and everyone makes her subject to deceit and her good nature being abused, but depsite this she won't change her ways. She's very in touch with her emotions and feels no shame in having to let them out when she truly needs to, locking up negative thoughts poisons one's ability to be truly content. She will always lose the battle to tears in a hard situation and cannot function if she doesn't relieve her stress or sadness. Being a blood type A, Ara needs peace, harmony and organisation. She cannot cope when the mood is low and dislikes confronation.
► Born in Daegu, you wouldn't know by looking that Ara and her family were struggling, and you will never know unless you go snooping or for some reason she opens this up to you. She doesn't see this as an excuse to behave any differently and will continue to go on with her life no matter how hard it gets, as this was just the hand she was dealth with. Unfortunately, Ara and her younger sister were born to a father who felt the need to get aggressive with his wife and children. Their mother was far too proud and terrified of her husband and what other's would say and think to do anything so she took it, whatever it was thrown at her, she took it and would make sure her priority was to protect her daughters. At the age of fifteen, Ara suffered a nasty ankle injury as a result of being pushed down the stairs. In her father's defense, he hadn't meant for it to go that far, but the fact is; he was drunk, he had come in late at night and woken the girls and was starting to get angry at his wife. Fifteen year old Ara had had enough and stepped between them, becoming subject to a drunken shove which caused her balance to wobble, seeing her tumbling down the stairs. Of course they don't tell people this, as far as anybody else is concerned, it was a gymnastics injury. Since then, he has been jailed after a further assault on his wife in which the neighbours intervened. The three women are happy and are still picking their life up and piecing it togther but have yet to crawl up the economic ladder. Despite juggling two jobs to keep a living, Ara's mom is determined to keep their life stable.
With ballet eventually comes other dance styles, and with other dance styles comes exploration. That's how dance really started to take over Ara's life. Despite everything she was going through at home, it was her main outlet, no matter what happened. With the things that unfortunately occured with her family, all it taught Ara was to be strong because worrying about it constantly will not change the paste, it can just encourage you to change the future. That's where her determination blossomed.

personality ► Sunggyu, when he can, tries to balance his actions between his head and his heart, though sometimes he finds this a little difficult. He likes to think he's a level headed kind of guy with set morals of good and bad, but his kindness can sometimes interfere. He likes to display leadership even at the darkest of times when he might not be feeling sure of himself, but would never want others to know that. He likes to do the right thing whenever he can. He's passionate and sometimes gets a little too over cinfident but this is just to cloud his self consciousness he has deep down, because he wants to prove himself and be the best leader he can be. He doesn't often get time to relax and can be a little upright.
how you met ► They met at the pharmacy. Ara had gone to get some painkillers and a new bandage to bind her ankle as it was being particularly painful that day. Sunggyu had gone to pick up some vitamins and they both reached for a bandage at the same time. (Sunggyu was just picking one up for Hoya) it was really awkward but they both laughed shyly and tried to wait for the other to take it. Sunggyu asked her if she was hurt, she lied and said she was fine and he didn't want to pry since she seemed shy so they both went their seperate ways.
how you interact with each other ► Since they're both leaders, they're both very polite and respectful with one another since they both want to be professional and make a good example of their members. When they're alone it's quite awkward at first but he has a soft spot for her and she sometimes blushes around him. There's something about him that makes her feel nervous and she trusts him for some reason she doesn/t understand.

personality ► Vain and a little over-confident he may be, but he's warm hearted and quite insecure deep down. He's easily offended with jealous tendancies and can hold a grudge, he's quite head strong and opinionated at times and doesn't like to be wrong. Though he can get a little carried away, Himchan is thoughtful and tries to be considerate at the best of times. If you were to describe Himchan in a nutshell it would be pretty 'full on'. He has been known to be quite a handful at the best of times and he has yet to learn when enough is enough. He's quite stubborn and doesn't like to be wrong, and is still convinced he knows best, whatever the problem. He has plenty confidence in his looks, at least it seems so, though he's a little self-conscious under the surface due to being quite chubby in his childhood years. Himchan knows he's not the smartest of people though he would get overly offended if you were to say this to him. He tries to make up for what he lacks in intelligence in charm and charisma; he's definitely able to talk his way out of trouble. He's very playful and fond of skinship and showing his affection, proving him to be quite the social butterfly. Himchan often says or does things without giving it much thought and this can get him into trouble faster than he can talk his way out of it. Unfortunately he doesn't always realise when and why he's in the wrong. Despite him seeming like a vain, overconfident wannabe-casanova, Himchan's heart is in the right place and he does try his best to please others once he's had his fun.
how you met ► Pearls were at the same hairdressers as B.A.P and since Ara's hair was already finished she was the one that went down the street to get the coffee for her members. Himchan was just coming back from getting B.A.Ps coffee and he offered to go with her in case she couldn't carry them all.
how you interact with each other ► He's very talkative and playful so he does most of the talking but she finds herself smiling around him and she can't help but let him be his silly self.

reason ► Ara doesn't like to have enemies because it's immoral and honestly far too much work in the first place, but this is her one and only exception. She isn't even entirely sure how it started but it's one of the only things that threatens Ara's carefully held together composure to fall. Towards Ara, Bora is blunt, icy, and honestly intimidated Ara after Ara mistook her for her the same age, when really they were not. When it comes to this girl, Ara is prepared to take off the gloves.
how you interact with each other ► Ara tries to avoid her when off air but when they are in the company of others like other groups or staff, she has to pretend to be nice so that she doesn't appear rude to her senior. Bora will ignore her if possible but will sometimes try to make her appear rude. She will make sure to be extra nice when others are looking.
personality ► Bora is quite an upbeat, kind and cheerful girl but she can hold quite a grudge. She's quite vindictive if she feels threatened or hurt by somebody and doesn't forgive those who have offended her easily. She's very competetive and quick to judge those she feels are competition and can be brutal in wanting to beath them in any way.
