background: Jinae was born in an average family who lives comfortably even when they faced problems regarding money once in a while. she has lived in busan for as long as she could remember and never went outside of busan until she was 14. her father is a busy man who is rarely at home while her mother is a teacher who always sleeps at school because of the mountain of works. that is probably why jinae is not really close to her parents even though she loves them dearly. the only person who is always there beside her is her one-year older brother. when she was 14, she was accepted as a trainee in SM and is required to move to seoul because her trainings will be held at sm's building. It took months for jinae to persuade her father to approve of her plan on being an idol but after jinae nearly gives up, her father made the announcement to the rest of the family members that they'll move to a new house in seoul as soon as possible so that jinae can achieve her dream.

backstory: jinae often greets him as he is her sunbae but all he ever did as a reply is a nod or a glance. jinae was curious and kept trying to befriend the said male but to no avail. however, jinae is not the type of girl who will give up easily and kept trying even when she receives some angry looks from the other female trainees. sehun was surprised to see her trying to be in his group of friends for nearly a year when he decided to talk to her even if it was only a sentence. from that one mere sentence, their conversation starts to grow longer and sehun finds himself speaking in a normal way without stuttering or stammering in front of jinae unlike the first time they talked.
