HO: Miley Cyrus

I prefer her music over most other's right now. Including B.A.P's.

I don't care about her image, but her songs are amazing. And music is for listening to.

I don't care that she changed (though I feel as if she's forcing her on-stage image too much. I don't believe that a person can change that much).

Wrecking Ball is an awesome song. So is We Can't Stop. Not recognising that her music is good because of her image is just immature.

People say that she should change because kids watch it. Then monitor your kids! Don't allow them to go on certain sites! Block them, if you have to.

Miley's not Hannah Montanna any more, you can't trash her because she moved on.

Yeah, her image may be too much, but it's much better than anything else I've heard this year. She's better than Taylor Swift. Taylor has gone out with how many guys? She may not dress badly, but Miley was engaged.

It's a fade that she'll grow out of and find her own style. She's just going to the extreme (in my opinion) to get rid of her Hannah Montanna image.

Her image is working, she's beaten a group who have a dedicated fanbase for the most VEVO views within 24hrs.

I think that her music is great. Listen to it without judging it and you'll realise that it has more meaning than "We hooked up for one night; do you remember this song?" and "So this other guy I went out with was a jerk too - no, no, wrong guy. This is a new one. No! I'm not the problem, what are you talking about?"

I prefer her songs over Demi Lovato's and Selena Gomez's. All three were Disney Star's together.

I feel like Demi milked her troubles to get jobs, which I don't think she should've done. She may help others overcome theirs, but I feel like she exploits her own demons sometimes.

Selena Gomez used Justin Bieber for the fame (in my opinion).

Miley is using her extreme image. But, to me, her songs are far better than the others.

Wrecking Ball >>>>> wall you can't climb over >>>> Party in the U.S.A

So ... yeah, that's what I think about her.

And everyone is probably sitting there like: No, no, no, stop!

So, yeah, that's what I think.

I like her songs too.. They are good!
Although her music videos throw me off.
Im glad she tried to shed her hanna montana image but her recent behaviors are too much for me.
Her music is good, then that's it for me.

Not a fan of Miley Cyrus but I agree with you about how immature it is when people disregard her good songs just because of her image.

Personally, I think her voice annoys me, so I'm not a big fan. And even if she has written music, most of her hits are not written by her.

But if we go by her image, it's basically publicly known that most child stars, especially those that were in Disney have wild periods in their lives. Which makes sense because Disney is really concerned about how they appear to others and the images of their stars, holding each person under them to standards that most people (especially teens) aren't always able to adhere to. So her being her wild self, and the others doing the same thing, in different degrees, are doing what most Disney stars do, be crazy and basically have that period where they're young and make plenty of mistakes regarding their lives.

And really, all there are highly-publicized so things seem worse and are made to make their 'mistakes' to be some of the worst things that people can do, and yet many people experience the same things every day.

Personally, I feel like I relate to Demi's music a bit more than Miley and Selena, but that's just my opinion. Plus, I like that fact that she does speak out about what's going on with her and in her position it may seem like she's abusing certain things, but I feel that's not the case and she's done what she's had to do in the position that she's been placed in. (You can literally say the same for any artist and the PR that handles them.)

But Taylor Swift? We're on the same page there. She used to be a wholesome type of gal and now it seems as if she's selling herself out. Plus, what girl needs to write a thousand songs about heartbreak and whatnot? Even rock stars write less breakup songs than her.

I really honestly prefer Demi Lovato over Miley Cyrus. Demi promotes things that are good, she's a great singer, and she's not scared to say what she has done wrong in her life.
And honestly, I hated We Can't Stop. Not just the video, but the song too. It just really bugs me that she has been given an opportunity and has been put in a position where she has the power to help change the world for the better, but instead she chooses to sing about drugs and and acts insane on stage. :/

I don't really care what Miley Cyrus does, and honestly I don't even judge her by my reactions to her.
We can't stop was a fun song. Wrecking Ball has some meaning to it when you actually listen to the song. But in my opinion, the videos were distracting. I was trying to listen to music, and BAM.
Maybe next time I'll just look for the lyric videos.
I also notice how you're saying "I don't care about Miley Cyrus's image" but then you go on to make judgments about Selena's and Demi's image. Hm?

When I first heard wrecking ball I saw it with the MV. I admit the song was pretty good, I wasn't crazy for the MV but that doesn't make her a bad artist.

I really like her songs too and if she wants to do that image let her. Lady Gag and Ke$ha have similar images and people don't make such a huge fuss.
