This post is really late, like it should have been posted earlier August, but I haven't entered the Exo fandom back then. I can't expressed how irritated and annoyed I am with Exo's Sasaeng fans.

Entering the Exo fandom late August, I tried catching up with Mama days and noticed the drastic change in personalities of my bias, D.O/ Do Kyungsoo. The Mama Era showed a more smiling and happy Kyungsoo while on the Wolf-Growl era showed a more serious, less smiling and lethargic Kyungsoo. I actually thought it was because okay, you're a new group, you have to show them how happy and grateful you are entering the idol world, but it's not like that. It really isn't. Not knowing anything before I kept thinking, 'Kyungsoo, what happened? Why are you like this?' It even got to the point that when watching their latest promotions, my main focus was only seeing Kyungsoo smile and that's rare. Even if I entered the fandom recently, I really missed the smiling Kyungsoo, and that's something because I'm new to this fandom. What about the exo stans that have been following them way before? They see a smiling Kyungsoo by Mama and the next comeback they're all, wtf happened? And the reason for that drastic change is Exo's Sasaeng fans.

I have encountered the term Sasaeng before. Articles of Saseangs scared the out of me. It was really worse in the Suju fandom, especially in the JYJ/TVXQ fandom. Sasaeng fans have been a huge ing disadvantage in being an idol and really, saesang fans have been there way before Shinwa generation. I have watched something on Win Win, a three-person group who disbanded but still continued to release singles. They said fans enter their dorm like it's nothing, leaving gifts and letters and stuff. Now that's not even the worst part. The worst part was that if one person of the group was linked to this other celebrity or they performed a cf together, the other celebrity, undoubtedly a girl, receives a lot of hate from the other idol's fans. Slashed tires, egged cars, hate mails,  it was really bad. Today fans can't do that to idols except write hate mails and harass them on the internet, but the fans are more liberated. With the expense and lack of morality and sense; they follow their idols everywhere they go, stalk them and stay outside their dorms, doesn't give them privacy on airplanes,  invading personal space to the point that they just suddenly out of nowhere and cling to the idol/ pushing them just to touch them, and giving their weird and unusual gifts by throwing it to their idols resulting to various injuries of the idols. Not to mention, the accident in poisoning the idol by placing glue on the drink--I'm not sure if that's JYJ or TVXQ. So really, I'm not sure which was worse.

Exo stans are like a combination of Suju and Shinee stans. Imagine if the sasaengs of the massive fandom of Suju and Shinee combined to be the Sasaengs of Exo, including the new saesangs, and . That is ing insane. I'm not sure how much worse or what the extent of damage/insanity the Sasaeng fans of Exo but I read previous articles regarding Exo's Sasaeng fans. I don't have the fan account  yet, but I think it will be really a lot.

There was also a recent fan account in Malaysia that the fans were pushing a lot in the airport when Exo-M came and Luhan got angry at them because they were pushing and Tao was injured. Really, fans really.  It also came to the point that they can't do what they're supposed to do because of the fans, I think that was at KCON, when they cancelled the fan signing.

I actually thought that it was nice being in an active fandom because the updates are so fast, the pictures, the subbed videos and I forgot about the Sasaengs. It's just really terrible because Exo members are still young and experiencing such thing can either make them quit the idol world or be shut off from fans. Here's Kyungsoo's side about their Sasaeng fans.

“Personally, I even came to develop a victim mentality because of the sasaeng fans. It’s so bad that my mood changes even when I see normal fans. Even my personality changed. I was originally shy and cautious but because of sasaengs, I became even more like that.”

I wish I could reverse the process. I wish Kyungsoo can go back to what he was before because it's really unfair to regular fans who follow fan etiquette.. It's not Kyungsoo's fault. The fans made him that way. Though this kind of fan is included in their job description, they don't deserve to experience such things. And really, the damage is done and the only thing we can do is to lessen the future damage by following proper fan etiquette. Hopefully by the time they have established the official fanclub of Exo, the sasaengs can be more proper.And just not all Sasaeng. 

The reason why proper fans can't lecture Sasaeng fans because Sasaeng fans are really liberated and they hit/ injure regular fans and it's really horrible and helpless to lecture them. I wish Korea can create a plan for them and with their idols because Sasaengs are really getting worse and worse each time. If they keep doing it, I won't be suprised if they abolished the Idol thing. I highly doubt it though.

Anyway, to Sasaeng fans, ing calm yourselves. Idols are humans too and they need their privacy. Get a ing life.
