honestly..

I get what it feels like when no one subscribes or no one comments or when no one reads stories that you work really hard on. I do.

But you should honestly write for yourself and not only for readers. I get that a big part of writing is dedicated for the readers, yes! But don't expect everyone to comment/subscribe/read :/ because you're only putting yourself up for disappointment if that's what you're going to expect all the time.

I honestly don't expect a lot whenever I update or create new stories. Surprisingly, because of that, that's how I got so many subscribers and commenters! I'm not saying that I don't care about the comments, I do! <3 very much indeed, I'm really grateful for them and for the readers/subscribers.

I'm just happy with whatever I get and I think that's the most important thing! Sorry for this rant, it's not aimed at anyone, it's just because I keep seeing authors post about their disappointments in no subscribers/commenters. Or when they lose subscribers and readers.

It's a pinch in the pride and all, but the best way to work through it is to just keep writing and ignore it :)

I honestly don't even care if people don't subscribe or comment when they read. I'm happy enough that they gave my stories the time to look through. But I am very appreciative to all the people who take their time to comment and subscribe!

I just hope that more authors can be happier when they write! Comments that tell me to "update" faster doesn't bug me either! I think they're cute haha ((: I love all my readers/subscribers/commenters and the silent readers or people who don't subscribe! :) I just love everyone haha <3

but not everything's perfect so I can only wish other authors happiness instead of disappointment!

Definitely agree with you. We should write for our self, if not, writing will be not fun anymore.
Yes, we'd love to have fans, but don't let fans control our self.
Back to us again, what's the reason we write?
To gain popularity, or because we love to write?
:)

p.s. I love your story and I'm one of your fans :* kekeke

I agree with you but then again I can't help but feel for the authors that do. I feel like they want pack on their back ~ you know?

Anyways~ I still totally agree!!^^

i hope everyone reads this
(esp. the authors)
and hopefully they will at least acknowledge what you are trying to say.
i personally think, that when i write something it's for myself (maybe that's why i don't post stories LOL).

See lack of subscribers or comments doesn't bother me anymore. I think people should just be patient and wait. You'll get comments guys and gals: No need to rush the readers to comment.

One of my collection of one shots only has one comment, but even so I was happy with that one comment :)

I write fanfiction solely for myself. We aren't getting paid in all honesty, it's just a hobby for me. I don't go into a rage mode and say 'You have to comment or else!!' ^^;

I'm new at being a fanfic author, and I'm glad you posted this!:)
It seriously motivates me to write more, despite lack of readers/subbers/comments
thank you~
I write to enjoy myself and I think you're right
