background check!

[ personality ]

+ She's cold hearted, or at least people think she is. Ahnmi does everything for the benefit of others. She acts cold, because she loves people, because she thinks that it will be for the best. She is notorious for arguing with Jinyoung, since she doesn't believe in most of his ideals and morals. She has a set mind and a set way of thinking, and exactly how everything should be done, therefore she doesn't follow many people's ordeals, Oksook being the exception.

Ahnmi is like the mother the members never had. She acts as the caretaker, waking each member up, getting them out of bed, and fixing their hair and such. For all the younger girls, she reads them stories and plays with their hair, although there aren't many younger girls. She dotes on Shinwoo a lot, one for feeling indebted to him and also because he fails to recognize the importance of self care.

[ background ]

+ Ahnmi and her family moved to the states when she was 4, before the airplane companies refused to fly to Korea because something was fishy about the Korean government. Her and her family were the last Asians to ever come to the states, and they lived in peace, living off of agriculture for 10 years of her life.

But since she was the last "oriental", as people called her, people had high demands for wanting these people. They kidnapped all of the other Asians and the only people left were her and her family. When she was 14, a day before turning 15, she woke up in the middle of the night, after having a nightmare, and went to go find her parents, whom she found to be dead on the floor. Her cries of sorrow caught the attention of the human traffickers who were just about to leave and she was kidnapped and taken away. When she woke up, she was in an unknown place, on the floor, tied up. The kidnappers were discussing her near future, how all she'd do is be a slave to others, how her only job would be to keep on giving birth to more orientals. Her insides boiled as the disgusting men thought of such a horrible idea. She wasn't going to be some lowlife e, Ahnmi believed she had a life.

Suddenly she heard footsteps coming closer and a sickening moan as someone dropped to the floor. It was a boy, around her age, with an emotionless look on his face. He was either going to rescue her, or kill her as well. The kidnapper's comrade lunged after the boy, but he took him down rather quickly. The boy, who he introduced himself as Shinwoo, quickly untied her and lead her out of the cabin, where she began to ask questions. He didn't answer any of them, he just said words that she'd never forget. "You're supposed to be in Funeral Parlor, so come with me. You'll be safe, you'll be watched over, and most importantly, you'll learn how to protect yourself and the people important to you." After that, she returned back to Korea with this strange boy, and she didn't care; her family was gone, what would it matter if he wanted to kill her?

the dearest ones

[ family ] -

+ Baek Yoonsung | father | 51 | carpenter | dead | He was the typical "dad", who tried very hard to assimilate to the American culture, but found pleasure in working as a carpenter. Although he tried hard, he made only enough money just to get by, which often led him to bouts of depression and anger. | Yoonsung was always caring towards Ahnmi, especially since she was the only child.

+ Kim Yemin | mother | weaver | dead |

[ friends ] -

+ Haeun | 19 | Funeral Parlor's Mixer | She's a sweetheart. And that's just about it. | Ahnmi usually always skips meals, because she is sleeping or training. Haeun always makes her some food and brings it to her room, leaving it there with a note. She really cares for Haeun as a younger sister that she never had, and as the love Haeun never truly received.

[ rival ] -

+ n/a

i smell looove

[ partner ]

+ Shinwoo | 23 | B1A4's Shadow

[ personality ] -

+ He's cold like Ahnmi, but he's shrouded in much more mystery. Not many people in Funeral Parlor know about his background or how he even got into the undertakers, but most of them know to keep their distance. He has a genuine lack of presence, appearing and reappearing within a blink of an eye, but he uses this to his advantage during missions. Everyone respects him, mostly out of fear, but he has good intuition, and if it weren't for his reserved personality and despise for sacrificing people for the group's benefit (unlike the head of the entire organization), he probably could have led the undertakers.

[ relationship ] -

+ Ahnmi was saved by Shinwoo when she was about to be sold into the slave market in America. How he got there, she doens't know, but her life is indebted to him, and she will never stop trying to repay him. She has an admiration for him and his skills, but also ends up mothering him since he is quite careless about his personal appearance (especially after waking up)
