[ personality ] 

+ Haeun is happy go lucky, optimistic and super friendly. She will befriend almost anyone and is super easy to talk to. She will uplift the mood whenever she walks in and enjoys to company of others. However, Haeun bottles the mindset of being last, never being able to be the best at anything, unable to meet the expextations of everyone else. When she's alone at night, insomnia plagues her mind at the memories of neglection as a child. Haeun often takes walks around the Funeral Parlor base, trying to clear her mind. She doesn't let anyone know about her innermost thoughts, in fear that they might judge her and might throw her out.

Even if she is super nice, Haeun's determination is unshakable. She might seem wimpy and helpless, but if she sets her mind on one idea, she will never back down, not even to her superiors. Haeun will fight for what she believes for, even if it means arguing with people she normally wouldn't. Her concentration is fixed and will never waver, especially during a mission. Whenever someone wants to talk to her while she's busy, Haeun will make them wait until she's at a point where she can take a break. She doesn't like getting distracted and therefore, she tries to finish everything before she has her fun.

+ Haeun was born to a very wealthy family, but her life wasn't all fun and games. In fact, it was the exact opposite. Her parents only wanted one daughter, which they had. The perfect Go Woori, a model and straight A student. But what did they get? Another child that they didn't want. After refusing abortion, they just lived with the fact that they were going to have another daughter, but honestly, they didn't care. All her life, Haeun was neglected, shunned, and left out. Although she, too, got great grades and was a great athlete, all her diligence was for nothing. Her parents never made her feel loved, nor did her sister. In fact, the biggest bully in her life was her sister. She'd sneer and smirk at her because she knew Haeun couldn't do anything.

She was born right before the start of the dictation in Korea, where there were already rising lower class citizens planning to side with North Korea for a chance at freedom from the oppression. And when Haeun was 14, her parents and sister were kidnapped and put into prision by the start of the dictation. The lower class threw all the rich, wealthy families into jail, but oddly enough, it was the neglection that saved Haeun's life; her parents never regarded her as a family member, therefore she was spared the imprisonment her family received.

He's also very biased, which explains his attitude towards his daughters. | Haeun's father never really paid attention to her and barely interacted with her.

+ Yoon Jisae | mother | 53 | fashion designer | living - detained in prison | she's more carefree, vibrant "go-with-the-flow", but she is more biased than her husband. Although she creates beautiful clothes, she gives most of her money to the first born, Woori. | When she gave birth to Haeun, she seriously contemplated whether she wanted to give her away or not, but was told to keep her because the doctors knew she'd be a healthy and pretty one. After that, she never really talked to her.

+ Go Woori | sister | 27 | n/a | living - detained in prison | Woori is uptight, arrogant, and too proud of herself. She won't let anyone surpass her and she will find ways to make sure that doesn't ever happen. | When Haeun was younger, Woori would be nice and play with her, but once she was a teen, she scolded her for every aspect of her life and sneered at everything she did. After that, Haeun made an effort not to speak to her.

+ he's super unpredictable but equally as fun. Baro is very passionate in what he does, and doesn't fail to just lock himself in his room figuring out new chemical compounds. He loves fun and is most of the comic relief in such a serious time with Sandeul and Gongchan.

[ relationship ] - 

+ Baro never seems to sleep, so every so often, Haeun knocks on his door and gives him lunch or dinner because he is never present in the cafe. She cares greatly for him, as a senior and as a friend. He genuinely likes her and cares for her, too. Whenever he sees her out at night when she can't sleep, he pats her back and tries to calm her mind by walking with her.
