Style: Miyoung's style is as simple as it can get. During school she doesn't like to put much effort in her clothing choices, and is usually seen in a pair of oddly colored pants and a graphic tee. [1] She does care about her outer appearance, but not enough to motivate her into getting up 2 hours before school starts just to get ready. If she were performing on stage, she would dress up a bit more formally, put on a sundress or something light colored. Personality: 

       - Park Miyoung is an odd little duckling compared to the other amazing, confident students in her dorm. She's super shy around everyone at first meeting, and has a huge fear of public speaking or standing on stage. Usually with traits like these, you would think she would be in Dorm #3, but because of her amazing talent and some unseen circumstances at the time (Dorm #1 was short on a few students), it was too much risk to put her in with the rest. Although she is shy and hates to be put on stage, when she finally builds enough courage to perform, she blows the crowd away with her amazing voice and lack of fear displayed. It's as if in that moment, all that's there is the stage, and nothing can stop her. That reason alone was enough to convince the School Board that her fear was something easily gotten over, and she would be a great addition to represent Yongsan in Dorm #1. Once you get past her shy outer ring, you see a more open and playful Miyoung.

Miyoung is super talkative and quite happy all the time, always bouncing around the place and making others laugh. She doesn't like to be at the center of attention obviously, but when she does, handles it with grace. She can be kind of awkward at times, but is truly a kind and sweet girl. She's easily unmotivated and super lazy, she sleeps for hours on end, especially if you don't wake her up. Miyoung loves to make others smile, and will do almost anything to do so. She finds it hard to be serious in serious situations, but is one of the most reliable and loyal friends anyone could ever have. She doesn't like to argue with others and is usually the peace keeper, coming up with compromises and solving others' problems. She hates worrying others with her own problems so she usually keeps her problems to herself, always putting her friends well being in front of her own.

Miyoung doesn't listen to rumors and tries to be friendly with everyone, but is hard to do so, especially in Dorm #1. Everyone tries to avoid her seeing as how she hangs out with members of Dorm #3 and #2, but she doesn't care what others have to say, she only listens to her and herself alone. She hates going to classes and sometimes chooses to skip with Sehun, much to her brother and Yixing's dismay. She is stubborn and open minded, she tries to look at everything positively and give everyone a chance. She's also a true romantic, once she falls for someone she would do anything for them and treat them as if they were a God. She tends to be a bit niave and too trustful of others, making her a bit sensitive to when she gets hurt or betrayed. She doesn't give up easily and no matter how many times she falls, will always get back up again. She can be a bit hyper and crazy at times, but is well liked by those who get to know her.

Friends:

     - Oh Sehun | 19 | Taekwando Martial Artist | Sehun is sort of cold and distant with everyone around him. He doesn't say much and is really sarcastic when he does choose to talk. He's like that even with Miyoung, but in a more playful manner, and they enjoy each others company. They're best friends and they like to joke around and laugh about everything. They don't take anything seriously when together, and are always happy. He's a trouble maker, but only when he's bored or feels like he needs to prove a point. | They've been freinds since she met Zhang Yixing (a year ago, when he was laughing at those who were running during a prank). He has stuck around her when Yixing was busy, keeping her company almost every day. They eat lunch together everyday and he helps her sneak at occasionally.  

    - Kim Soohyun | 22 | Actor | Soohyun is kind and playful, he seems sort of stupid but he's actually one of the smartest actors out there. He loves making others laugh and is a well known in Korea for his performances in movies and musicals. He attended Yongsan Academy and is originally from Dorm #3. | Soohyun and Miyoung met one day at Yongsan, (he graduated early but went to school at the same time as she did) 2 years ago. They were studying next to each other at the library one day when Soohyun was bored, deciding to randomly pass her a note. He was funny and helped her out with homework, and ever since then they hang out all the time together. 

    - Yang Seungho | 23 | Singer | He's another older brother to Miyoung, he knows her real brother and takes care of her whenever he can. He's overprotective and silly, he likes to about anything and everything he can think up of, but loves her none the less. He's one of the only few that'll talk to her in Dorm #1. | They've been friends since her brother and Seungho were in elementary school, and are like family. They just tell everyone they're cousins because of how close they are, and are always looking out for each other. They go out shopping every weekend, he spoils her endlessly.

Time Capsule

Background Information: Born in Changsha, China and moved to Busan, South Korea when she was 6. Began dancing when she was 14. Doesn't get along with her father, stays away from home as much as she possibly can. 

Specific Background: Her father is full born Chinese while her mother is full born Korean. Being multi-cultural, she learned both Korean and Chinese at home and a bit of English from her father (he works as a translator). She lived in Changsha, China until the age of 6 when her father got retransfered to Busan, South Korea, as a translator for a major company. Family life when they were younger was nice, everyone got a long with one another and there seemed to be no problems. Junyoung supported his sister in everything she did and was her biggest fan her entire life, they would do everything together. She grew up an obedient child and it wasn't until she was in high school that she began spreading her wings and rebeling a bit. Family life then took a turn for the worst, her father became distant and cold, declaring that she had to listen to him, and it was his way or no way at all. Life at home became so strained that she began taking walks at the park, going to friends houses, doing anything she could possibly do to get away. She started to dance and sing in her free time when she was alone, only singing for her brother and the ocassional friend. She was scouted into the Academy one day while she was dancing (her brother had a connection and brought a scout to the room where they watched in silence), and was encouraged to audition. She ignores her father and has a bad relationship with him, but still manages to keep in touch with the rest of her family. Since she is used to performing in front of small amounts of people, she still gets nervous around large crowds and finds it impossible to over come her stage fright. She thinks it's because her father has always had high expectations of her, whether it was something small like homework, or something big like a project, he always expected the best. She trusted everyone openly until her friend betrayed her and revealed every single dark secret she had when she got accepted to Yongsan. Her life is a constant struggle between focusing on the good and bad, her family life is in shambles, she's painfully shy, but she also has good friends like Sehun, Yixing, and Soohyun. She tries her best to move forward everyday. 

Passion 

Love Interest:  Zhang Yixing | 21 | Dorm #2 

Personality of love interest : Yixing is super kind and sweet, one of the nicest members of Dorm #2 (or anyone on campus) anyone could ever meet. Even though he's an amazing dancer, he's an even better martial artist, and is one of the best of the best. He only knows martial arts to protect the ones he loves most, since he was always being protected when he was younger, and now since he has the chance, wants to make it up to them in this way. He wants to be able to hang around with Miyoung more often, and is a mushy romantic as well. He's sort of awkward but also good natured and funny, he doesn't cause trouble unless he feels its absolutely needed. He's passionate about everything he does and never gives up on his goals. He's more on the quiet and reserved side, he doesn't trust others easily and it takes sometime to get to know him.

How they met : Althought they were both born in the same town in China, they hadn't met until one fateful day at Yongsan Academy. Miyoung was at the wrong place at the wrong time, that's all there is to it. Dorm #2 was out causing trouble once again, planning a prank on Dorm #1. Yixing was one of the few that felt as if the prank was going too far, and only tagged along to ensure that the others wouldn't get into too much trouble. The prank? To lock Dorm #1 out of their rooms in the middle of winter. The fun part? Throwing water balloons in negative degree weather and let them freeze until they begged for mercy. Yeah, it wasn't one of the best plans. Miyoung had left class early feeling sick, when Dorm #2 decided to test their prank on an innocent passerby. Cough cough, Miyoung. As she walked nearer and nearer towards the dorm, Yixing had run up to her and protected her from his fellow dorm mates, yelling at them for being so stupid. The prank was canceled after the Headmaster had heard news of it (they scattered, they needed to pull off better pranks later, they couldn't afford to be caught now), but Miyoung and Yixing continued to talk, becoming good friends after meeting each other randomly all the time.

Love interest's background : Zhang Yixing lived in China mostly his entire life in a rich family. He was a sheltered child, always being taken care of by his family and his friends. He had a passion for dancing, which is something he did in his free time alongside martial arts (Wushu, but he didn't really pay attention to it, he was the worst student). When he was 13 he was alone at home while his family was out, minding his own business. He heard a noise and soon found himself face to face with burglars, guns held against his head. He was being held hostage in his house, the burglars hoping to get paid a ransom for the rich millionares son. His parents had ran into the house recklessly, ready to defend their son at all costs. In the struggle Yixing's parents had been shot, gun shots were heard going off everywhere. When the police finally arrived they found a small massacre, two of the three burglars dead alongside Yixing's parents. It was then when he was sent to Korea with his grandparents, where he went through a small stage of depression and a reevaluation of his life. He decided to audition for the Academy as a martial artist, he was so helpless in that situation with his parents, he wanted to be ready if anything like that ever happened again. When he got in he decided he would dedicate his life to protecting others and dancing on the side, he never wanted to go through something like this again. Along the way he fell for Miyoung, where his priorities changed a bit. He still wanted to protect people, but when she told him he should live his life, he had began to slowly agree with her.    

When did they begin having feelings for each other : After Yixing opened up to her about his past, she had reassured him that it was okay to live his life and pursue his dancing dreams, she would do her best to protect him instead. He valued how much she cared for him and decided that maybe she was right, he could at least try to do both. Miyoung on the other hand had always felt something for Yixing, especially after their first meeting. He was so kind and sweet, she liked everything about him.

Studies

Why they are in the dorm they are in : Dorm #1 was lacking a few students. The school reps figured that her voice and talent overcame her stage fright, and that could easily be handled with a few performances.
