I'm Sad!
Ok, I had encountered another problem (*sigh* the hard life of a dedicated crazy otaku).
So today, my friend and I were staying after school in the library. We were talking about anime, as per usual and this girl in year 9 (or grade 9), overheard us and joined us, as she likes anime too. We had a conversation and I asked her if she liked Death Note. She said yes, and I was like, "Light or L?" She said she liked L better and my friend rejoiced (she likes L). My friend (who shall be known as E) asked her what she likes about L. The girl replied with "I can't really say" and then my other friends near us said to us to stop talking about anime. I had to drag E to my friends and my friends explain that they think she might just be pretending, because when the girl (I think she should be C) went over to her friends, she laughed and also, when I mentioned anime, they were laughing. So my friends think that C was just pretedning to like anime, but was actaully making fun of us for it. I then got it and told E to stop talking about anime and we told her why, because she can't even pinpoint why she likes L (and that's just strange for a die-hard anime fan) and that she was laughing behind us.
AND THANKS TO HER I'M DISCOURAGED TO EXPRESS MY LIKE FOR ANIME AS MUCH! ;(
Sorry for ranting, it just makes everything better.
And after this situation, I was like:
