hey, let me introduce myself!

personality:

Hae Ji is a very active girl. She can't stop moving around and is always found engaging in some sort of activity. She's lively, sweet, and bubbly. When she's tired or sleepy, she'll shut herself and live in her own world, ignoring the situation around her. But if something that she thought as interesting crossed her sight, she'll gather her strength and become active once more. If it's about the things she loves, she'll be very diligent. But if not, she'll do it half-heartedly. Like for dancing, she would gladly not sleep to master the moves. But for singing, because she's bad at it, she always tries to avoid it. But really, aside from that (truthfully speaking) she's a really lazy girl.

She's very loyal to her friends and she regards them as her family. Once she found her perfect match, she wouldn't let go. She's witty and critical, and people enjoy her company as she's capable of maintaining an engaging conversation, but sometimes she annoys them with her loud voice and sarcastic comments.

Her fatal flaw is that she's never sure about her ability. She never felt like she's good enough. Even when everyone knows and assure her that she can do it, there's always the nagging 'I can't' inside her heart. She hates mistakes, and will sometimes give herself a punishment for doing that. The mistakes also haunts her everywhere she goes, and won't allow her to completely start a new slate. And lastly, even though she never show it, the words and comments from people around her really affects her. If someone say 'Nice', even though it was just a little remark, she will be very  happy about it. But the same goes for bad comments. She will take it to her heart and lessen her confidence more and more.

background:

Her mother is Korean and her father is Chinese. She was born in China but at the age of 3, they moved to Korea and stayed at her mother's old neighborhood. her mother was a Korean traditional dance master and wants Hae Ji to practice it too. At first she didn't want to do it. But after she realize how fun it is to perform, she begged her mom to teach her dance. Her parents started to worry if their daughter's obsession to dancing is unhealthy, and started to restrict her on her time in the dancing room . They tried introducing other hobbies to her, but it never succeed.

Her mother is very strict in teaching. VERY. But however har Hae Ji tried to hate dancing, she couldn't. She just tried to endure it, and later on, when she's alone, lash out her dissapointment and anger on the dance floor. That unhealthy routine goes on and on, until she developed the flaw she had in her adulthood.

loving you, you~

love interest: Lee Dong Hae

backup: Jun Su 2PM / Kim Min Jun

personality: He's very passionate on what he's doing, which make him a very strict mentor. He won't let her pupil go before he thinks that they're good enough. He's also prone on scolding his pupil. But outside the practice room, he's very friendly and chatty. A little bit silly even, as he's very easy to laugh. He grows a really quick close bond with most of the people he meet. He will act like he's around his age old bestfriend around everyone, even though maybe it will make the other party a bit uncomfortable (as in the case for Hae Ji).

relationship: Like a close student and teacher. He had a busy schedule, and would sometimes had to leave the filming set to be somewhere else more important. He teaches and Hae Ji recieves. He acts like she's his best friend, but Hae Ji acts in a more cautious manner, and people for that, thinking that she's crushing on him.

You can even say that Hae Ji is a bit scared by him, even though she told herself that his demeanor inside the practice room is only because he loves dancing so much, she couldn't forget the scoldings he gave her and it lowers her self esteem considerably.

first meet: She at first didn't realize who he was, because he didn't wear any makeup or anything. She just thought that he's some usual interviewer. So, she felt like she can be more casual around him. After some time, he too realized that she didn't know who he is. So, he let down his guard and aproached her in a friendlier way. In the end, he would drop some hints on who he is, kind of teasing her. Until finally she realize who was sitting in front of her and went on a mini fangirl mental breakdown.

the interview

hello, what's your name? -  Hi! My name is Jang Hae Ji, but you can call me Gina.

okay, let's start the interview! how do you know about this variety show? -  Well, a friend told me in a group chat. As soon as I knew it, I immediately searched about it and signed myself up.

what do you think is your strength? -  Hmm... I can bake? And I'm very flexible too. That's so random, I'm sorry.

what about your weakness? -  I at singing... Like... really bad.

if you'll debut, what position do you want? -  I think being the main dancer would be great.

do you think you can handle the training? how will you handle it? -  I will have the mind set that it WON'T be easy. Anyways, this will be a test for me. If I can endure the training to the very end, it will prove that I deserve whatever I'll get in the end. If I don't, then I won't acknowledge that NO and I'll keep pushing through, no matter what.

if our company advice you to have a plasic surgery, will you do it? and why? -   What part? What do they want me to change? Liposuction? No. People die from that. Nose job? Yeah right, on the later years, the maintanance will be a pain in the . But I would only say this. Will you not? Really? Like it or not, you're being controlled by your company. And if that surgery is the thing that stand between you and the stage... I'd have to say yes, aren't I? Besides, I don't think there's anything wrong in plastic surgery, so why should I say no? As long as they consulted to me and asked for my consent, and the procedure is clear and open, why not? Why not.

if you are accepted, you'll meet another 9 girls. what do you think of living together with them? -  Well... I hope we can get along? I won't bother them much if they don't like me though.

who do you wish to be your coach? - Well, I'm not demanding anything, truthfully. What if my future coach see this interview and saw that I didn't choose them as my first choice? They won't be happy, I believe. But if you insisted... Well... Umm... BoA-sunbaenim? I just... I'm a long time fan of her and I think she's very amazing.

since when do you dream to be an idol? -  When I was in primary school, I was forced to do a christmas dance performance. I didn't like it at first, dancing and all that stuff. But the moment I stood on that stage, with all the adrenaline and the excitement, and when everyone clapped for you in the end, it felt fantastic! Since then I always dreamed of performing on bigger stages, with more people watching me, and for me to make much more people happy with my performance.

last, why should we accept you? -  Because I crave to be on that stage again, I want to be up there in the light. I want to be acknowledged, I want to be remembered, and I want to be loved. Making people happy, motivating them, being a good role model, it's been my dream all this time,  and I'll do whatever it takes for me to be there.

comments/suggestions: None ATM

scene requests:

Because she likes and prefers to dance y dances (because it's much more tiring, makes more sweat, and she just like it! COME ON PEOPLE it's 2013, stop judging people by the dance style they prefer), the other girls for a moment percieve her as a tad bit 'ty' and is trying to seduce her mentor, which in fact, she doesn't

Hae Ji and her love interest banter because of a silly thing like maybe they forgot to turn off the gas or something. She was so mad that she asked if he really thinks that she's stupid, that the scoldings he told her in the practice room is really personal. Maybe she cried? And he comforted her? Yeaah and then they talked about their weaknesses or something... ><
