I will never be ashamed of being a part of it. Disappointed, angry and ashamed at some fans yes but never ashamed to be part of this fandom when there are some negative incidents. Yes, we could be immature, out of control and overprotective but what fandom isn't? So, you shouldn't say that you're ashamed of being part of a fandom just because a part of that fandom did something stupid.
