Born into a strict teaching family, Ji-eun first starting singing at the age of 4 singing nursery rhymes in her Kindergarten that it's hard for her teacher to keep her quiet and one day the principal called her parents in that they recommend there daughter to singing lessions because she had a nice pitch and she loved singing in school talent shows through her parent hesitant because they didn't wanted her to be a singer or famous but in the end they did let her take more singing class as well being in a school musical of the The Wizard of Oz singing Over the Rainbow.
When she was 11, Ji-eun a sew idol BOA in concert in her hometown of Gwangiu that when she starting to take more singing serious that she was bulled in her Primary School where her mom worked because they was jealous over her talent, she was worred about it that she enroll her in judo for self defense also took acting class at the same time so one day she would be actress and a singer thanking her teachers and her parents for the help Ji-eun needer.
