Before and after he was born.

Born in Gwangju in the Honam Region to a 23-year-old Kim Soomin and 25-year-old Kim Young-Jin who got married two years earlier before their son was born and met four years before they got married, While working in a convenience store together and after a few months Jeonghui's parents met, They started dating and fall in love with each other with both of there parents permission and happily got married a few years later, After Jeonghui' both of His parents worked almost 12 hours a day, trying to earn a living for the future of the family and His Grandparents would look after him when they were working, About four days a week as the family wasn't that well off like the other families in the neighborhood but he was happy still, As the sun started to turn three years old, They believed a move to The USA would improve a better life for his son more after saving up for the American Dream.

American Dream

Moving to San Francisco in 1998, The family lived  in a small house in the Sunset District area despite being a busy family where his mom would work as cleaning in an office in the heart of the financial district and The father would work in a Korean restaurant part-time while learning English at nights while he was in bed and Jeonghui attends daycare full time Almost every weekend he would look up at his mom where they would go to the park or the beach together that the father would come every as well when wasn't working.

The Start of many talents

One day when he was 6 years old at the Park, Jeonghui would hold his hands straight at the jungle gym, His father was surprised at what he saw asks if he wanted to go to gymnastics class as growing older, He said yes and from there he learned and focus every lesson that he known to do a cartwheel to balancing on the bean that his teacher and his parents know would he go to the Olympics one day,

Tragedy begins and Health Happens

Once he turned 9 years olds tragedy started to take a turn that his dad had a disease which he rather not say which killed him a few weeks later on 22th February 2005 the hospital bed around his loving family around him, iI's was too much for him to his father passed in front of him that it's changed his personality the most in his family so much that he didn't want to go to school and when he did Jeonghui would talk about his father or death to classmates that he was upset and crying a lot in he and when 29th September all he did was visiting his grave on what was to be his father birthday, Thinking of time they had together as father and son as well wanted to die just to be with him, He soon develop depression and PTSD , Because what he saw that happen in his family, Jeonghui's mom's phone to see a counselor for him but Jeonghui would be hurt and upset the first time he met with Dr. Ha that he didn't talk to his feelings at first but after the second time of meeting him with his mom went with him and soon started to speak up about his dad and how to affect his life, He would still think of him anytime soon as he got on with living without his father and took medication to cram him down and make him better,

The New Start of the Family and Moving back home

Two years after the death of her husband, His Mom met someone on a blind date set up by a family firend that would take a massive step on that she was excited and also nervous at the same time of getting a new father and how his mom was happy of dating a new guy but as once he was 13 years old, The engagement of his Mom and stepfather who's Korean American means moving to the birth of his country for a fresh start again, would be a little hard for him and his family worried not settling and missing his school friends that he would turn to music to forget the problem would face in case he wanted to be happy for his mom who was getting married, He learned to Rap and Sing as well playing the Piano and Guitar and enrolling himself in a local gymnastic class on the island , He was used to starting to live in the beautiful seaside as a few months later witnessing his Mom in a beautiful wedding dress that wedding day where all his relatives and friends attending with late father parents and family from Gwangju as well his stepfather's family came from the US and all around Korea , He cried knowing he looked up to his mom even he still missed his father that she looked after him while everything was hard for both of them, During the ceremony he sang and played the Piano singing to all All my life by K-Ci & JoJo he cried a little because it's was his first time singing in public and the fact he was happy now he got a new father,

New Sister, and New Hobbies

When he was 14, His Mom was pregnant with his husband's child as they were expecting a baby, It was all new to him as he was an only child before and he wasn't sure is a good or bad thing, fearing he might be jealous as they could forget him that he was studying after school he would go to the seaside and thrown rocks to forget as well at home still practicing his musical instruments and singing, beatboxing and rapping while writing songs, One of the songs he wrote about his sister to be as he was worrying too much and giving it to his 7-month-old pregnant mom it's about it's the happiness and love of someone being born into the world that she cried of how creative his son was that could anything with his talents, On November the 17th 2009, She gives birth to a daughter named Bada and Jeonghui was proud to be an older brother and he how to get play with her.

Taking things seriously Too Much!

At 15 still in high school, he still was doing everything for his future like going to gymnastics in the Saturday mornings, Performing, Singing, or Beatboxing in the street on the weekends as well as studying, He was a busy teen not having time to play with his friends, At the same time he knew starting to take too much of his life thinking he would be ill with all this work and his new baby sister, He took a little break for a month only to focus on schoolwork and his friends and his family as he begins to take that seriously ever since the death of his father 6 years ago, A month turned into 3 months then he back into before worrying to forget everything as it was before but this time taking gymnastics twice a once on Monday before school, and just singing Singing all day on Saturday still to focus on schoolwork and his friends most days

All the hard work paid off!

in late 2013 he was scouted by YG entertainment to be a trainee at the train station while basking, at the audition he brought his Guitar along and sang Lego House by Ed Sheeran, His stepfather was against it at first moving to Seoul at 18 by himself but with the all hard work he went into to have his dream come turn, He let him in the end and try out for a new show Mix Nine a few years after becoming a trainee even if he misses his parents and friends back home as he worked hard for his goal to becoming the final nine specializing in Singing and Rapping but eliminated in the third round but still trained with the company and got in a job working in a bakery part-time in the day time and as a lounge singer at weekends nights as well a little modeling after two years of training now he set to debut with Spice after few months of hard work.

World Culture-He just wants to look at what every country is like in the world but sadly he doesn't have much time because of busy schedules
