If you actually want to be friends with me...

Alright... so... there's something you have to know about me when I become friends with people...

I don't consider people that I only talk about fandoms with as my friends.

So...

If you only talk about Donghae or Dara or DaraHae or anything with me and nothing else... I sort of simply only consider you as an acquaintance. Why? Because fandoms change as people change. I'll always forever love Dara, Donghae, and DaraHae but... just because I love those three... doesn't mean that I'll be friends with you.

I actually consider the ones I call friends the people that I could talk to about things outside kpop. Like how on the iKPop RP... I can talk to my friends on there in OOC. And I consider the one that RPs the Seungah that's dating my Donghae on tumblr as a friend because I can talk to her about anything that bothers me. And even several RPers on the twitter RPs I'm on (depending on which people I'm talking to). As well as some of the Super Rainbow Unicorn Hoars. (I MISS THE DAYS OF SRUH ON TUMBLR DAMNIT!)

There's a difference between friendships that will only last so long... and friendships that will last forever.

Honestly... kpop is one of the longest running fandoms I stayed in but what happens when one friend outgrows kpop... what happens if I outgrow kpop? To be quite honest, I don't really like fangirling about DaraHae stuff as much as I used to anymore because I outgrew the fangirling phase. If i fangirl I only fangirl to my best friends on iKPop and SRUH. I do still openly fangirl about Donghae on twitter easily but that's a different story.

So please... be aware that... if I dont talk to you at all and you don't see me fangirling anymore... it's because I outgrew the fangirling stage. But also... be aware that there's a chance that I don't consider you a friend but an acquaintance.

Over the 24 years of my life (yes for all you people I actually AM 24... I was born in 1989 like Jung Sooyeon..), I learned to not trust people that try to say they're my friends so easily. I also learned that one will lose friends once you move on from a fandom. I'm also saying this as advice for all of you youngsters that try to consider me a friend but are still in school and haven't grown enough yet... unless you can actually go past the talk of fandoms with people... there's a 90% chance that the ones that you consider friends in a fandom won't be your friends or even really associate themselves with you anymore once you move on from the fandom. So be wary of who you even call friends. There's a difference between friends and acquaintances... don't get confused.

Mianhae I had to say it for my sake. I just get annoyed when people can only talk to me about DaraHae, Donghae or Dara and nothing else.

Hmmm I understand this problem so much.. In all honesty the k-pop fandom is kinda messed up, but that's just my opinion. Oh well.. I hope we are friends, unnie but it's also fine if we're acquaintances too. That way I can earn your friendship :D
