background : She was born on a average family in Los Angeles, California. Her school days there were kind of hard because she was always getting offensive remarks of her being asian but her brother would always stand up for her until one day she had enought and she stood up for herself. Because of her father's job and her brother's dream they moved to South Korea when Minhee was 8. There she went to Hanlim School of Arts where she met her best friend and later her fellow trainee. She made new friends and she worked hard to be one of the best in her school. When her brother told their parents that he wanted to be an idol they were happy for him and they supported him a lot. A few days later after her brother auditioned, he moved out and to the dorms of the company. Minhee and her brother are really close and even if they have different likes, they also shared the same passion for performing. While being trainees they would always support each other and if one of them had trouble with anything they would help each other. When she told her parents she also wanted to be an idol, she expected a no as an answer but they agreed immidiately and they supported her with messages saying that she should give her best and that if she wanted to be an idol she had to be the best one.

how did you guys act around each other? They are really playful around each other but Sehun often worries for Minhee. They like to tease each other but also they support and care for each other. Other idols and trainees often ask if they are dating because of how sweet the are toneach pther. Also Sehun is gets really jealous when Minhee does aegyo for another guy, he normally he asks her to do aegyo for him but she rejects while doing aegyo. There are times in which they end up bickering but a few hours later they apologize to each other. Both Minhee and Sehun can be really stubborn which is why they bicker. Over all they care deeply for each other but they say is just an oppa-dongseang relationship while everyone else knows they like each other.

how did you guys act around each other? They might be friends but they are really awkward around each other. While Minhee tries to have a convesation with Jongup he is thinking how to answer her back or make a comment without being awkward. Minhee usually does skinship with him even if Jongup doesn't answer to the action she still does it. Minhee likes Jongup and she tries to send him some indirect messages by acting cute when they hang out or complimenting him but he is really clueless so he never realizes.

Beginner

years of training : 2 years and 8 months
trainee life : For Minhee being a trainee was hard but it was also one of the best experiences in her life. She followed her brother's steps and she auditioned for the same company and a few weeks later after auditioning she got an e-mail saying she got accepted. There is where she met her now best friend, Krystal, they trained for 2 months together before Krystal's debut in f(x). She didn't got bullied but while training she did got hurt. It happend while practicing a choreography in the night, she slipped and fell ob her wrist. EXO-K was still practicing when they heard Minhee cry. They took her to the hospital were she got a cast, she wasn't able to practice her dancing for 1 month but after getting better she worked hard to catch up with the other trainees. She was very social and she made good friends while being a trainee but of course not everyone liked her. There were times in which she would practice with Jihye and her brother, later they would go out.
