DIARY: 2nd Anniversary - 130702
Two years ago, exactly on 2 July 2011, I created an account on AsianFanFics, a website that I found randomly because of my new interest of BEAST, a South Korean idol group who just had their comeback with "Fiction".
Ever since I was a little kid, I always love to write down my imagination, turning them to words. Even until now I am not a smooth talker so I'd rather write what I have in mind.
I just wanted to try writing a fanfiction, a genre I never really tried seriously before so I started with "Perfectly You", a fanfiction with Gikwang and Yoseob from BEAST as the main male protagonists.
Gaining encouragement from readers through comments -- which I didn't expect before because I was not thinking of myself as a good author --, I went on with second story, "So Sweet, So Simple".
For my surprise, the story received so much love up to the extent I decided to make the main character to be featured in four titles and, before I could even control myself, I keep writing one after another.
Currently as I write this blog post, I have 42 stories.
35 are finished. 3 are on (top priority) progress. 3 are on slow progress.
2 of the slow progress titles are sequel from previous titles while 1 of them is a special collaboration with one of my favorite authors here, msnosun.
Last year, like what I wrote here, I had 37 stories, 31 are done, 3 are on progress, 2 are in hiatus, and 1 is on hold.
Doesn't look like a good statistic, does it? However I actually have a lot of things to be grateful this year.
I am not the kind of person who can stick with one thing if I'm not really interested with it.
For example, if you give me a drama series to watch, I might enjoy it for a couple of days and, voila, I forget it.
I might like a new kind of snack but, after a while, I get bored of it quickly.
Keep updating my stories here, despite the fact that my daily schedule doesn't allow me to update as frequent as my first year here, is one of the things I want to do.
I always check AsianFanfics at least thrice a day. I think about new ideas every night before sleep. I look for inspiration whenever I watch drama or listen to new song.
AFF is one irreplaceable piece of my life. Thanks to the readers, subscribers, and friends I met here. I learned so much about writing and enjoying times with reading more stories.
There are two things which haven't changed about me, in my opinion.
First is I still don't really care much about gaining more karma, subscribers, or comments. Of course I was so happy when "Hearts are Made to be Broken" gained more than 400 subscribers but that doesn't mean I write for more subscribers.
As long as people enjoy my stories, it's enough to make my day a better one.
The second is I am, indeed, still a greedy author. I know it's not good to split my focus for so many titles in one go but, please scold me, I just want to write down whatever I can.
'kyuri91' is my alter ego and I'm protecting it as my treasure.

Thank you for all the readers of my stories. I don't now how to send my gratitudes for all of you who always encourage me. I hope I can write even better stories for all of you.
