If you ever read my fanfic or read my introduction blog post, then you know that I ship SooKrys. Since they haven't had any noticable interactions, I consider them a crackship/crackpairing, but I really enjoy the idea of them together. I want to see them interact in some way, so I can consider them real xD

Sometimes I wonder why SooKrys aren't or don't appear close. Any SooSicSphere would know SooSica have been friends since 2000 and their friendship has grown these 13 years. Now during the course of their friendship, wouldn't you assume that Jessica has introduced Sooyoung and Krystal to each other several times during the course of 13 years, especially since all 3 of them are a part of SM Entertainment?

Some might argue it's because Sooyoung isn't that close with the members of f(x), and vice versa for Krystal. But I know that Sooyoung is decently close with Sulli and Amber, and I've seen Sooyoung talk to Luna like twice. Sooyoung, Luna, and Victoria are also part of the SM dancer segment that's shown at SMTOWN conerts, so there's also a possibility that Sooyoung and Victoria have talked too. As for Krystal, I've seen her be friendly with Tiffany, Seohyun, and especially Yoona. Out of SNSD (minus Jessica of course), Krystal is the closests to Yoona, who is also the same age as Sooyoung.

So why hasn't SooKrys happened yet? What's strange is if you look at this fancam HERE @ 0:17, you can see Sooyoung interacting with Sulli and Luna while holding Amber's hand in the background. But if you look behind Amber and Sooyoung, you can see Krystal but it doesn't look like she's joining in on the conversation. Jessica is also there, standing on the other side of Sooyoung, and is still part of the circle. It only appears that Krystal is the only one left out. This could have been an opportunity to see that Sooyoung and Krystal are on at least talking terms. So what's the deal?

I think the problem is their personalities, and in Krystal's case, her appearance.

Krystal has one of those faces where if she isn't smiling, she'll come off as cold, rude, or intimidating to those who aren't close to her. She's often misunderstood because of this, which I don't believe is her fault. I guess you can say she's the ice princess of f(x). But just like her sister, Krystal does have a warm and kind heart underneath. The thing about Krystal is that she's shy, and it takes time for her to open up comfortably to others. As she said in the SMTOWN special of the show Come To Play, Krystal mentions that she and Sulli have difficulty approaching their sunbaes because of the and lack of time together as trainees, but wishes to be closer to everyone. What I got from that is Krystal is not the type to approach someone first, even if she wants to get to know them, due to her shy personality. Once Krystal opens up to someone, you'll see her crazy and playful side. If you have seen variety shows like f(x) Koala or more recently Amazing f(x), you have an idea of what I'm talking about. In my opinion, Krystal is a lot more energetic than Jessica. Also, if you compare how Krystal is on the shows with just her and her members to, let's say, a variety/talk show with mostly sunbaes or other idol groups in the entertainment industry, you can see a big difference in her personality.

As for Sooyoung, it should come off as no surprise that's she's one of the more social members of SNSD. On shows or interviews, Sooyoung is one of the people who talks a lot, knowing what to say to keep the conversation flowing nicely. This is because Sooyoung dislikes the atmosphere of an awkward conversation, as she has stated a couple of times. But because she's really good a speaking, Sooyoung helps ease the awkwardness, even using gags or imitations. Unlike Krystal, Sooyoung is more carefree and can usually be her crazy kkab self on variety shows, although it's more likely if she has one of her fellow SoShi members with her on the shows (preferrably Yuri, Hyoyeon, or Yoona). Sooyoung also has the feeling of a big sister, and she enjoys taking care of people. She might the most emotional member of SNSD, but she's also the support pillar for the rest of the members.

I feel like for SooKrys to work, Sooyoung HAS to be the one to approach Krystal first and talk to her. I believe Krystal is too shy to make the first move, even though she might be aware of how friendly Sooyoung is from Jessica. For them to be closer, however, they'd have to interact often, which doesn't seem likely. SNSD is too busy these days since they're preparing for their world tour concerts, and Sooyoung is especially busy since she's filming for Cyrano. I feel like the only time we'd see any SooKrys interactions is at SMTOWN concerts.

So does that mean SooKrys will never happen?

Well I personally think that THERE IS a possibility it could happen! >:D

I wasn't even aware the first interview existed! I was surprised to see Krystal looking at Sooyoung often. Another thing the Jung sisters have in common ^___^ And the part where Sooyoung and Krystal's eyes meet <3 The second interview is actually the moment that made me consider SooKrys! As Sooyoung is talking about Hyoyeon's high-waisted fashion from her trainee days, Krystal is the first one to burst out laughing. I thought it was cute, because Krystal finds Sooyoung funny (although who DOESN'T find her funny xD)

Personally, I'm surprised Krystal was looking at Sooyoung so much. Usually I see Krystal zone out during interviews, but her multiple stares at Sooyoung make me believe that Krystal does want to be closer to Sooyoung. 

I seriously hope to see more SooKrys moments in the future n___n
