My M Countdown Experience (Meeting EXO!!)

Hey guys! So I usually don't blog...but I figured I'd write one about my experience last week at M Countdown!(:

Long story short, I got there at 6AM only to find out that the general admission line was already all filled up...(the people here are crazy..lolol).
I tried getting in with EXO (cause EXO-biased over here~~), only to be nearly trampled by their hardcore sasaeng fans.

Oh! If any of you didn't know...EXO fans are seriously crazy! As an EXO fan myself, I'm embarrassed to be included in the crazy stereotype of how they act so out-of-control and obsessed.

The supporter unnie (who is sent from the company) lined us all up at about 2pm and everyone started following her like little puppies. They stood literally less than 5 feet away from her and when she gathered everyone's attention, she specifically stated, "Now when I say so, all of you are going to line up at the pole over there. You guys better not run and no one better get hurt or i'm not letting a single one of you in." Sure everyone agreed, but the moment she let people go, the crowd started sprinting over to the pole.

The group I came with saw how hectic it was, and we slowly walked to the back of the line (cause really...how hard is it to line up OTL), but there were girls in the front all squished together trying to be first. They were pulling hair, cussing, and basically, it was just like the horror stories I've heard about how people get injured and start trampling each other to get into the EXO line. (No wonder we have such a bad reputation in the kpop world.)
In the end, everyone who lined up (with a certain degree of requirements) ended up getting a number, although this system itself is really difficult and done by rankings of fan dedication (I guess is the right word..hahaha).

If you want to know how the ranking is done and stuff, you can just comment and I'll write a separate post!(:

BACK TO THE STORY. We all got lined up AGAIN by ranking this time, and the first 200 or so got to go in for the pre-recording. I was still outside, and thankfully it was slightly windy and cloudy so I wasn't totally scorched up by the sun.^^;;
There were only about 80 of us left outside maybe due to some not getting a number for not having a single requirement which is required for you to receive a number, and although it was my first time lining up for a music show, I thankfully brought my XOXO album and was able to get a number (barely).

Now this is when I was SOSOSOSO pissed off.
Technically, all of us waiting outside were able to go in for the live recording, HOWEVER, due to the bad attitudes of the 200 fans who went in before us, only 30 were permitted to go in. I was in the 70s so I wasn't able to make it in.

Now, I understand if the stage was full and we couldn't all make it in. However, the fact that most of us who were in the back of the line and were waiting patiently and following directions COULDN'T get in ONLY because of the fans who were clawing at each other to be first in line did not make ANY form of logical sense. SM needs to realize that if they are going to treat their fans like this, they need to be treating the ones who act understanding and patient and not the ones who are hurting others and being disrespectful. They are only enforcing the wrong behavior of the EXO fans, which will then only ruin the reputation of our boys even more.

SO after this chaotic mess...(THIS IS THE EXCITING PART. BEWARE: Major fangirling)
My friends and I went to eat dinner and we got out at 6PM (which is also when the live show starts!)
Out of curiosity, we all went to check up on the 30 girls who got the chance to stay for EXO's live performance, and they were still outside waiting!
They were only allowed to go in at about 6:30PM which I think is totally wrong for SM to treat them. They were all really excited and those waiting outside clapped for them through the building (cause it's made out of windows). It was really a heartwarming sight to see them be so excited walking in.(:

AND if any of you were wondering WHY I was still at the building at 6:30...
Well. I was about to leave with the people I went to it with right after we checked on the people there, but right when we were about to leave, we saw a boy group walking by...
......and unlike what you all probably thought, it wasn't EXO. trolololol.(;
But since we saw them through the window building (we were standing right next the to staircase leading up the the stage; outside) we figured e might see some more.
And oh boy, WE WERE SOOO RIGHT.
In short, I got to see BTS (new group), Boy's Republic (new group), Skarf, MBLAQ, Beast, 100%, and...EXOOOO.<3333
Man, can we please take a moment to fangirl over how attractive they are in real life.;D

Compared to the other boy groups, who were all so skinny and tiny, EXO was a lot more built and they had this manly aura.
Even, Luhan, our very own princess, was bigger than all the other boys in the boy groups I saw that day.

I got some AMAZING fan service through the window (throwing hearts to each other and all...Chanyeol gave us wolf ears><) and I was standing less than 10 feet away from all of them. Yes, I ended up getting better seats than everyone who made it into the show LOLOLOL.

EXO specifically seemed really tired this day, and Xiumin was injured.):
If you see in their performance for this day, they were a little out of energy...however they all performed so well live and I'm so proud of how much they improved.<333

But yeah. That was my day. It was pretty amazing at the end.(:
And as a korean myself, I’m extremely proud of my country’s culture for reaching out to so many international fans, and it was really great to see so many different people from all over the world come to support the groups!

Those who have other questions can ask me in the comments, or on my wall, or PM me! I’ll be glad to answer!(:

Sounds like sasaeng fans . Their attitude is such a rubbish towards normal fans and other fandom. They would just pisses normal fandom to get into music show . But lucky you that you met then in person.

Crazy fans...but I'm pretty sure most popular groups have those type of fans.

Anyway, I'm kinda surprised that you said they are more built than the other male groups. Are they tall in real life?

Have fun and take care. I am not good with crowds so yeah, even if I visit Korea... I'll just watch from my laptop. Lol.
