So I got my tonsils and adenoids taken out Thursday. 

Wooh. -.-

So this was how my day went:

From 8 to 11 am me and my mom waited in some room that had one of those reclining chairs and a TV.

The nurses were really nice. Some of them were Filipino, like me. Asian power. They gave me some blankets. But they made me pee in a cup. ._.

The nurses had me change into a gown thingy and these cute purple socks. :3 They also put an IV in my hand so the anesthesia could go through.

Then around noon they took me to the operating room while my mom waited in the waiting room. I had to lay down on a hard bed. They didn't have any pillows, so I had to put my head on a towel. 

The anesthesioligist put some medicine in my IV tube. I remember coughing really bad because I felt the medicine in my throat (it really hurt), then I fell asleep. 

About an hour later, I woke up in the recovery room on a gurney. I asked a guy nurse (lol. he was a murse.) how long I was sleeping, and they said around 30-40 minutes. I could barely talk because it hurt. After I was awake for 10 minutes, the murse wheeled me to a different room similar to the room I was waiting in, where my mom was. 

The nurses had to monitor me for a couple of hours, so I watched TV and laid down. They gave me free food. :D I had some popsicles and juice and some really nasty medicine (I think it was morphine).

Then I went home feeling like crap.

I threw up a few times the next day because the medicine I have to take causes nausea, but other than that, I guess I'm okay. My throat still hurts a little bit, and there's a really bad taste in my mouth, but I'm fine. 

If you don't have to get your tonsils taken out, you're lucky. The adenoidectomy didn't hurt though. I won't be able to update mah stories because I'm too lazy, but I will soon.

I'm really happy right now tho because I can just be lazy all day and not do work. But it's boring because I can't go out and hang out with friends. :(

I get the whole day to listen to Kpop!! I get to see my babies like EXO and B.A.P! So I guess this surgery was a good thing.
