personality ¦

Behaviour onscreen: Onscreen, Hinata tries to make people laugh at her cold jokes which is supposedly not funny at all. She is always seen with a smile on her face, even when her members say something bad about her or criticize her as she knows that they are just joking. She is also cheerful and always tries her best to answer the questions that she's given in a funny way, so that people would find it amusing. But sometimes, people just laugh at her sillyness and Hinata would also laugh along with them. She's sometimes silent though. But that doesn't mean that she's in a bad mood. Rather, she's just thinking of what to say since she's on stage and she can't brainlessly blurt out whatever she has on her mind.

Backstage: Hinata tends to be slightly reserved backstage. Whenever she meets new people that are also celebrities that she had never met before, she would try to talk to them but would be awkward about it. However, when they talk to her, she would maintain the smile on her face and try her best not to be awkward as she knows that there would be many other people that she would have to meet in the future. She would also stick to the people that she's close to when she's backstage. For example, her members or the other celebrities that she had made friends with before.

Friends and Family: When Hinata is with her friends and family, she just lets loose and be herself. As she's very close to her family, she does not mind her image when she's with them. (etc. Burping and stuff like that) As she's an only child, she tends to be slightly childish. She's still like a little girl when she's with her family. As for her friends, Hinata would be more generous when she's out with them. For example, if they were out shopping and her friend did not bring enough cash with her, Hinata would gladly pay for her friend. Sometimes when she's in a good mood, she would just buy random small gifts for her friends. Just because she wants to.

Strangers: For strangers, those that do not know her might think that she is stuck up at first. She doesn't really make the initiative to talk to anyone first unless she feels that the person seems friendly or that she has to do it. Otherwise, she would just be quiet. It is the same for when she first became a trainee in h2 media. Although she entered the auditions with her friend, her friend didn't make it past the auditions and Hinata was left with a group of other trainees whom she wasn't familiar with. She wanted to talk to them but she was just shy and awkward. That made the other trainees feel that Hinata was just stuck up since she was accepted to be a trainee. Some of them ignored her while others tried talking to her (which in the end, became her good friends).

Overall: All in all, Hinata's just a happy-go-lucky girl who does her best in everything and hopes to make new friends. She hated making enemies. But of course, there's no one in the whole world whom is liked by everyone. She knows that there are certain people who just dislike her for no apparent reason. But she just waves it off. Hinata is also a socially awkward girl who just wishes to make new friends. She told herself that she would try talking to people during the auditions. But in the end, she only managed to talk to a few, who seemed friendly to her. She wanted to make friends with those that supposedly disliked her, but was unable to due to her awkwardness. When you get to know her, Hinata can be rather crazy. She's also easy-going and is quite agreeable to things. The fatal flaw about her is that she sometimes talk without thinking and sometimes gets into trouble or irritates others because of that. Also, she is a person who has a quick temper. She gets angry/sad easily. However, the good thing about it is that she goes back to her original self shortly after and doesn't hold grudges.

background ¦ Hinata was born in Okinawa, Japan. She was never really used to the city life as she was born in the more serene part of Japan. From young, she had observed that her fellow peers were good in something and she wanted to be like them too. As a result, she begged her parents to let her attend various lessons such as ballet, language classes, piano and so on. As days go by, Hinata finally realised what she was good at and also what she loved. She loved to sing and would always go to karaoke sessions with her friends. As she had also learnt how to play the piano, Hinata worked hard to purchase a keyboard for herself so that she could play and sing at the same time. Her dream was to be a successful singer and a musician. Her friends saw that Hinata had talent in singing, so they urged her to join various auditions. But Hinata refused, saying that she wasn't good enough yet. Till one day, someone from Korea scouted her after she performed for her school's annual festival and this person felt that she had potential. At first, Hinata was reluctant to go. But gaining the support from her friends and families, she finally gathered the courage to audition for this company and managed to get in as a trainee.

trainee life ¦ Trainee life was quite tough for Hinata at first, but gradually she was able to get used to it. She was sometimes picked on by the other trainees and left to fend for herself. However, Hinata didn't give up and persevered on due to her love and passion for singing. Dancing was a challenge for her at first since she thinks that she cannot dance and has two-left feet. But after being taught the steps properly by a professional choreographer, Hinata is able to grasp the basics of dancing and is able to do splits and other moves that she couldn't do before.
