Who are you?

►►Name - Kim Hyun Ju

►►Personality - You usually only see 3 sides of HyunJu, Happy, calm/bored, and Hungry. She likes to keep it that way so she doesn't burden people, or more specifically her friends and family, with her feelings of pain, hurt, saddness, or anger. She also has a quick temper, but she's more bark than she is bite, unless you really make her snap, then you better for the hills. HyunJu is a very dedicated and loyal person, she usually devotes herself entirely to her duties, which usually includes multitasking at god-knows what (Homework, cooking, singing, dancing, reading, etc.)  She's passionate about what she does and usually goes above and beyond when she sets a goal. Now don't go thinking she's all so perfect, because believe me, that's not the case. HyunJu has an inferiority complex, where she always degrades herself because she feels that she is unworthy of anyones attention or love, which is why she only shows the 3 sides to the public, she wants the public to focus on the other members instead of her because she feels that the other girls  are so much better than herself. She's also stubborn as a mule, once she's made up her mind, theres no going back. HyunJu is a major foodie, always hungry and always eating, even if she hates the food she'll eat it because she's constantly hungry. Most of the time, HyunJu comes off as shy because of her lack of will to be seen by people, she doesn't want to make her family look bad.

►►Background - HyunJu has lived in Seoul her entire life, that's where her elder brother, Kim Jonghyun of SHINee was born and raised as well. Her father was rather strict and often expected perfection from all 3 of his kids, HyunJu being the youngest and practically unknown daughter of the Kim family. Her inferiority complex developed at a young age where JongHyun was in a highschool band. Although the complex fully blossomed when Jonghyun debuted as THE SHINee. Paniced that she wouldn't live up to the public's expectations of being related to THE Kim Jonghyun, she often asked her brother to never mention her at all, no matter how close they were. It wasn't until a year after JongHyun's debut did he actually manage to convince HyunJu to join SM, as a way to get over her not-so secret complex.

►►Why? - When HyunJu was introduced to f(x) she greeted all the members except for Krystal because Krystal intimidated her. When HyunJu apoligized for not greeting her properly, Krystal didn't find it sincere and thinks that HyunJu is nothing but a fake and is out to make her look bad.

►►When did you meet? - Before they debuted, when HyunJu was just accepted into SM Entertainment and was toured around to meet her new labelmates.

►►Personality and Relationship - JongKi is a cold and strict man, or atleast, that's how he comes too to strangers. It's almost as if he wants nothing to do with the world. However, that's not the case. JongKi is a fairly warmhearted person who just wants the best for his children, even if that means being the 'strict' parent. HyunJu and JongKi have a balanced relationship, because JongKi is constantly on business trips, they hardly have time for eachother, but when they do have the time, they have no problem gosssiping about the newest information.

►►Personality and Relationship - Hana is a loving woman, she never judges a book by its cover and always gives people the benefit of the doubt. She's usually soft spoken and prefers to listen rather than talk. HyunJu has a close relationship with her mother because she knows Hana would never say a word about her insecurities to anybody and would take any secret to the grave with her.

►►Peronality and Relationship - JongHyun is usually a very cheerful person, he's sensitive and has a big heart. He also has a record for exploding or losing his temper, but the truth is that he would never hurt a fly if he didn't think it was nessesary (He's a pacifist). He's witty and stubborn, and can sometimes come off as arrogant or uncaring. HyunJu and JongHyun actually have a very close relationship, sometimes she'll sneak over to Jonghyun's dorm just to eat junkfood or watch a movie with him or to just lay out on the roof and talk about anything at all.

►►Personality and Relationship - Kai is a brusque and blunt kind of guy, he's not really one to beat around the bush and he'll tell you straight up what he thinks, no matter how hurtful the truth may be. He's a fairly quiet person and often looks hard to approach, but he's a warm hearted person who is trying to break out of his shell. HyunJu and Kai are the same age and attended the same high school. Being classmates and friends (Being of the same year) they kind of drifted towards eachother during school hours when no one really waned to talk to them.

►►Lee Hi | 17 | Soloist singer

►►Personality and Relationship -Lee Hi is a hard person to read, shes fairly reserved and kind of closes herself up to the public. But's very passionate about she does and always gives 100% of her effort into whatever she does. Lee Hi and HyunJu are often spotted rehearsing together or seen dining together to discuss careers and school since they're not to far in age.

►►Personality and Relationship - Sulli is that bubbly ray of sunshine you just can't help but smile when your around. She can be thoughtless and careless, and even come across as judgmental, but most of the time she's open minded and looking for a new way to pass the time. HyunJu is Sulli's best friend, for some reason, Sulli's social butterfly of a persoanlity is drawn to HyunJu's quiet sheeplike one. It's like they say, opposites attract.

►►Age - 20

►►How did you meet? - Because HyunJu goes over to visit JongHyun at his dorm, she often runs into the other members. Because HyunJu owed JongHyun for him letting her come over to a guy's dorm, she cooked dinner for the group and they forced Taemin (Who can't cook at all) to help her. She ended up teachng how to cook without chopping his fingers off

►►Personality and Relationship - Taemin is by nature, a well behaved person, he's well tempered, polite, charming, and even has a hint of aegyo to him. But he can grow selfish and act rather childish when he doesn't get what he wants. He's mischevious because he is often caught lying to his hyungs (Although HyunJu usuallly knows what he's up to). Taemin likes to think of HyunJu as personal good friend of his and treats her very warmly compared to how shy and reserved he acts around other girls. HyunJu treats him as her sunbae because he is a friend of JongHyun's and it would too weird and awkward for her to date her brother's friend.

 

►►Back-up Love Interest - Choi Minho of SHINee

►►How did you meet? - HyunJu was supposed to meet Jonghyun for dinner and she was waiting by the dorm. Minho came out and mistook her for a fangirl, and actually called security because he didn't believe Jonghyun had a younger sister he'd never eard about. Eventually Jonghyun came around and expalined why he never mentioned HyunJu before.

►►Personality and Relationship - Minho is that competitive person no one wants to mess with once he accepts a challenge. He's charismatic on stage and a goofball offstage. He's over-protective and caring as well, but he becomes obsessed with thinggs quite easily and can be a bit of flirt to all the girls, especially the noona's. Minho see's HyunJu as a little sister and is constantly trying to act like another brother when JongHyun is not around. HyunJu thinks of Minho as a complete goof and doesn't take him seriously.

►►Trainee Life - Trainee life was nearly effortless on HyunJu's part, with Jonghyun aiding her in her rehearsals as well as doing vocal training with Lee Hi and dancing with Sulli, the only thing she really struggled with was keeping her identity on the down low, in fear of her making a big mistake and the press catching a wiff of the 'Kim family screw up". She also battled her complex because being around so many incrediblely talented and beautiful people she often felt like she was struggling to keepnup with her label mates eventhough she was right on track if not ahead of them game.
