I Need Advice.

Guys I need some advice.

 

I probably need a new laptop. This is one is messing up really bad.

My mom is taking it to a computer place in town tomorrow and some guy is going to look at it for the afternoon.

 

I'm almost 100% positive that it's not going to work.

 

So I need some advice on a new computer. 

I'm really leaning towards a mac for a few reasons.

  • My mom recently got a new laptop and it's windows 8. I hate touching the damn thing. I think the operating system is terrible.
  • I've been wanting a macbook for a long time now, and I just generally like using them.
  • I've never been a huge windows fan. just too poor to afford a mac. I'm still too poor now.

 

So could someone give me some ideas? 

All I would be using it for is school work, (highschool), photo editing, video editing, and fanfiction writing.

Do what you feel! I'm in a similar situation but I'm definitely getting a Windows computer again

Macs are so much better! (poor as well.. so.. yeah)
Don't buy windows 8! Damn, the interface looks horrible.

Definitely mac. I know they cost a lot but especially if you're a photographer/filmtographer you need one. Never go cheap on something like a laptop. Consider it an investiment and dish out the money if you can. Don't rush the decision either.
