Why? Why the EXO ships?

So I noticed that EXO usually gets paired with the following girl groups (from order of popularity)

1) SNSD

2) f(x)

3) APink

I know of why people ship SNSD & f(x) with EXO cos you knowww they're in the same company and etc. Heck I myself am a shipper as well. (teeny bit possesive EXOShidae/f(ex0) shipper but ignore me)

But I'd just like to know why APink? No doubt they're pretty, but...

Why do people ship EXOPink?

Since when did it started?

Is there a legit moment or something?

I'm sorry if I sound ignorant cos I'm not an APink fan (sorry) but I have nothing against APink but I want to know why LOL.

OH. And if anyone can entertain me on the HelloVenus/EXO pairings as well, that'd be nice.

I heard someone from the group likes an EXO member or something? er idk.

Then there's EXO/Girls Day which I know of  and secretly might ship cos there's interactions and Minah said that she's Kyungsoo's fan and Sojin is Kai's fan etc.

Sorry for the rant but really. Why EXOPink or HelloVenuO?

And what are some of the other EXO/Girl Group ships that I have missed out? Not that I think I will ship them anytime soon cos they're all ghei for each other its so obvious wth i dont even ship

EXOPink is quite popular. Maybe because the whole group been on WGM together on Taemin- Naeun episode. Also some EXO members are big fans of Apink. They seem cute to me and if you watch their interactions, they seem to have some chemistry

I agree ^^. I don't get A-PINK x EXO shipping since they haven't even met! Well, there is the Idol Olympics but they kinda ignored each other. For me it seems like EXO doesn't even know A-PINK OTL. I have nothing against it tho

I shipped EXOshidae, fexo, and EXOpink, because well, I shipped them randomly. and yeah, some ships are started from roleplaying couple too, sometimes. And some people are shipping EXO with After School too anyways

Hahahaha, well if we're talking about shipping in a facfic-based realm, I think it's safe to say whether someone ships EXOshidae or EXOpink or EXO-Girl's Day or anyone, it's not actually real, right? Yes, EXOshidae and F(exo) are a bit more reasonable than EXOpink, but in just the idea that we as fans of EXO ship them with other girl group members, I don't really think it matters if some ships are just a bit more 'reasonable' than others or not.
Ships are just fantasized, romantacized ways that we Kpop fans spazz over our idols, right? So anyone and everyone is free to ship all the ships they want, even if they decide to ship, EXO with Beast or something crazy like that. X)
When I put EXO and Apink or EXO and Hello Venus or EXO and anyone, I try to just imagine visually if they would look good together, and also if the ideal types the members have mentioned in some ways connect in one way or another.
But another main reason that sort of comes into play I feel like, is if your EXO bias and your Hello Venus bias just look gewwwwwd together, lol. Isn't that a fairly legitimate reason? I think so, since we're all just fantasizing here afterall~
