Me & My Epic Moment (3)
Have you ever seen or heard someone saying sorry and thank you to non-living things? Well, I have and that person is none other than me! I do not remember exactly how I started being so respectful towards non-living things. Whatever it is, it has become a habit of mine.
Here are some scenarios of me saying sorry to non-living things:
*When I accidentally hit the table, door or railings*
Me: I'm so sorry!!
*When I drop my things on the floor*
Me: Are you okay? I'm really sorry!
*When I found my misplaced phone*
Me: Raccoon-ah (phone's name), sorry for putting you on silent mode. [This one is from the heart. If anyone hears me, they would probably send me to the mental hospital.]
Here is a scenario of me saying thank you to non-living things:
*When the door opens automatically*
Me: Thank you!
Another habit of mine is to bow at people. I started bowing at people way before I knew Korean culture. (I'm just telling because many thought that I follow Korean culture too much. Nah ah... I learn manners on my own since young.)
Scenarios:
1) I bowed at drivers while crossing the road.
2) I bowed at the cashiers after making a payment.
3) I bowed at my classmates who opened the door for me.
4) I bowed here and there to people after they did something for me.
Okay enough... I realized that I bowed to random people after they talked to me. I am really a certified weirdo. Do you still want to be my friend? Hahaha!
