Details regarding the co-author post

Hey guys!

First of all, let me bow to ALL of you who messaged me/commented that you are willing to edit Heart of Ice. I want to hug you all for being so freaking nice and kind and awesome. ;____;

THANK YOU FOR BEING SO WONDERFUL!!!! <3

You guys are too nice, seriously. I never expected so many to be willing, oh god (I was hoping for at least one person lol). But damn, you guys are just... amazing! (I feel like I don't deserve such kindness OTL).

The thing is, with so many volunteers, I honestly feel pressured and bad because I'd love to make ALL of you my co-author, but the sad reality is that only one can be it, and I really want to be fair and make the right decision without disappointing anyone. In order to do that, I would like to ask all of you some questions.

So, as of right now these people have messaged me (chronological order) and its the 20th March 2013, 13:22 German time:

- queenslee

- Roseclear

- lexayoo

- iamawesomeness

- SincereSmiles

- deepintotaem

- dahyun4ever

First of all, let me please tell you that even if you don't get taken, that I truly appreciate each and everyone. I'm already so thankful that you guys are being so kind and willing to help, so please don't be disappointed (or I'll be heartbroken ;_;)

Oh god, it breaks my heart that I have to choose someone (I've always been bad at choosing between people).

Okay, all that aside, let's come to the questions:

1. Are you a native English speaker? (If yes, British or American or any other?)

2. Not considering whether you're a native English speaker or not, do you think you are profound in the English language?

3. Do you consider yourself a precise and careful reader who can spot mistakes/typos easily?

4. Even if you're willing, do you also think you have enough endurance and determination to really go though the WHOLE story?

5. Changing POVs is really detailed work, and let me please say this, A LOT. It'll probably take much time to through ALL 16 chapters. Now do you think you'll be able to do it and you WANT to do this?

6. Do you really think you have enough free time to do this? (I don't want to burden anyone who already has a lot of stress and barely any free time).

7. Would you be able to start any time? Imagine you get chosen tomorrow, would you be able to start editing within one week?

8. Do you like editing?

9. And lastly, do you consider yourself responsible?

I know, that's a lot of questions and it feels like some kind of audition and , but I REALLY want to make it very fair for everyone. I'm sorry for making you guys go through all this, but seriously, if I just decide within a second, I feel like I'm being really unfair to you.

Answer wherever you like. Be it the comment box or a private message or a wall post. c:

Okay, thank you very much!!!

Lots of love for you guys who are so damn freaking amazingly wonderful. Please stay like this. ;____;

1. I am a native English American speaker.
2. I think I excel in the English language because I have a HUGE pet peeve against grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors.
3. I do think that I'm precise when I read because I tend to read slowly which makes me notice typos easily. If I'm typing something, I almost always re-read what I wrote.
4. I have the determination because for about 2 1/2 months now, I've been wanting to become an editor/proofreader for authors but haven't gotten any offers yet (until you came along).
5. I WANT to do this.
6. I have more than enough time on my hands. I'm a senior in school so I'm pretty much just slacking off at this point. Senioritus... I also do not have a job at the moment, so yeah... A LOT of free time.
7. I can start whenever you want me too.
8. I love editing. I especially love criticizing, but of course this is something different.
9. I'm not gonna lie to you but I am not a very responsible person. When it comes to my stuff, I am THE biggest procrastinator ever. But I tend to be more responsible with other peoples things because I hate when I disappoint people.

And regarding my internet issues, I may not get internet until another 3 months or so cause my parents think I go on the internet too much. Like PSHH~! ahaha..... Well, anyway, I have my ways on getting internet. For example, I have a cousin down the street where I can get internet from and my friend lives around the block so I can chill there and get internet. There's also the library and if I really have to, I can always sit at McDonald's and get free wifi. lol

1. Unfortunately, I'm not a native English speaker.
2. Despite I'm not a native speaker, I'm learning English since I can read and write, so I think I'm pretty good at it.
3. I definitely consider myself as a precise and careful reader. I always re-read my own comments and letters to avoid typos and misunderstandings. I spot mistakes/typos in stories quite often and easily. Sometimes I even point it out, what some authors don't really like. ^^;;
4. I definitely have the determination. I've always wanted to try to be a beta-reader. Although it does have its responsibilities, but it also seems to be a fun work.
5. Of course it's a lot of work, but I'm pretty sure I can do it, and I'd gladly help you.
6. I definitely have enough free time to do it. Nowadays I'm practically at home all the time, so yeah.
7. Yes, as I said I could start anytime.
8. I love editing.
9. Yes, I consider myself a responsible person especially when it comes to things I do for others.

1. I am a native English speaker, from England.
2. Indeed, I've even completed an English Language and Literature course at college (And I got an A in it ;) ).
3. Very; it always aggravates me when I discover a typo in a published book (':
4. I'd be determined enough to complete it all within a day really. Once I want to do something, I won't stop till I finish it (':
5. Of course. Granted I know it will take quite a bit of time to ensure every aspect is in the third person, but it's pretty much nothing compared to analyzing the same pieces of text constantly in my English course (':
6. I have plenty of free time - at the moment I'm just watching Fullmetal Alchemist to pass the time so it would be good to do something productive with my time.
7. I'd be able to start straightaway if necessary!
8. I love editing, I always make sure every typo, piece of punctuation and grammar is correct in my work (':
9. I'd like to think of myself as very responsible, especially when it's a task that I wish to complete for another person.

1. I'm a native speaker (American)
2. I think I'm pretty good with English ^^
3. Of course :P I'm surprisingly picky even with the best fanfics I ever read
4. I think I do. I was able to last through my stories and I'm pretty sure I can last through yours
5. I'm pretty sure I can do this (I actually have nothing to do anyways) and of course I'm willing to do this especially for a friend ^^ (are we technically that o.o)
6. with 4 projects that I have at the moment, I'm surprisingly free to do what I want so I don't mind the extra work ^^
7. Very sure, I rarely have anything to do
8. I wouldn't say I like it but it has to be done so I pull through most of the time
9. OK the taboo question for me xD I'm responsible when I'm given other people's work and everything but I'm the most unresponsible to myself OTL

1. Yes, I am a native English speaker, an American.
2. Yes, I consider myself profound in English. I'm kind of a grammar and spelling tyrant and I even correct my friends when we're texting xD
3. Yes, I do. I usually cringe when I come across a fic with bad grammar/spelling.
4. Considering how much I enjoy your stories, I don't think it would be very hard to go through the whole story :)
5. Yes, I absolutely WANT to do this. It's fun!
6. Well, my parents won't let me go anywhere during the weekdays, so I'm sure I have more than enough time!
7. Back to what I said in 6.(blame my parents) I could start anytime, including tomorrow.
8. Yes, I always enjoyed peer editing and editing in general.
9. Well, this one kind of depends on my feelings for the job. If it's something I don't enjoy, then no, not really. As for something I do enjoy, like writing, drawing, reading, I consider myself highly responsible.
I hope you consider me! :D Sorry about it being iffy, it's 6:50 AM here. Gotta get ready for school!
