The "RIP Leeteuk" tag...

Some VIP made a fake article about how Eeteuk had been shot and had died on the way to the hospital and created a hash tag on Twitter to spread the "word" about it.

I get the whole "not liking" another band. There are bands I don't like as well. But I just don't listen to them, I don't create death rumour about their members. I think it is deeply disrespectful, especially with all the things going on between North Korea and South Korea at the moment. I cannot grasp how you would think "Og, I'm bored, let's create a fake article and say someone is dead!". Or that you would spend so much energy on hating someone. I really don't get it.

I am not saying that ELFs are any better or that any fandom is better, but I seriously shake my head at fanwars. Why is it so hard to just respect that some people like another band than the one you like and just let it be at that? Why do you need to talk trash about who they like or the fans themselves? Are you really that insecure?

Sigh...

Wow I agree. I had no idea that happened. Just don't listen to them if you don't like them instead of going out of your way to create waves of tension in the fandoms.
