( birthday ) : June 13th, 1995
( age ) : 17

( birthplace ) : Akita, Japan

( appearance ) : Suzu has short brown hair that comes to about her shoulders and looks golden in the sunlight. It tends to be a bit poofy and frizzy, so she straightens it when she has the time, energy, and motivation. She also has bangs for the sole reason that she thinks they make her look like an anime character. Her eyes are very dark, but if you look closely they have a tint of blue to them. She's rather short, standing at 5'1" (about 155 cm) and she's quite petite weighing 95 lbs (43 kg). She basically has no fat on her and though she's not flat as a board, she's not far from it. She's like the typical anime girl that gets made fun of for having small s and no . She has a small burn scar on her left forearm from baking once, a rather large birthmark on her lower left back, and she wears contacts. Of course, when she forgets her contacts or is too lazy to put them in, she wears glasses that look like this, but the arms are covered with pictures of anime characters.

( fashion choices ) : Being the otaku, Suzu loves to dress like anime characters. Or at least like something you would see in an anime. Don't worry, she doesn't go around cosplaying 24/7 (though if she could, she would) instead she creates outfits that look like they've popped right off the page of a manga. For example, she loves the sailor girl school uniform look and wears it even when she's not going to school. She also tends to wear a lot of short skirts, knee-high socks, frilly dresses that poof out at the bottom, and ribbons in her hair. Also, thought it's a bit out of date, she loves wearing kimonos to festivals and ceremonies.

` ♡ ⋮ WHAT ARE YOU REALLY LIKE

( character traits ) : fangirl, hyperactive, baka, wishes for adventure, cutesy

( personality )

Make Way for the Queen of Anime ) Being the magical otaku, it's obvious that she Suzu's absolutely obsessed with all things anime and manga (including video games and visual novels). They are her life. You steal a manga, be prepared to die. The electricity goes out and she can't watch the new episode of one of her animes, she'll have a conniption. DON'T and I repeat, DON'T mess with her anime and manga. They mean more to her than anything else she posses. Almost all of her free time is spent either reading her mangas, watching anime, playing video games, or surfing the internet. Her ipod, laptop and phone are filled with thousands of pictures taken from online of her favorite anime characters, opening and closing songs from animes, and bookmarked pages selling manga merchandise and/or manga itself. Fangirl is her middle name, as well as her first and last. When she's reading/watching, she'll squeal at the boys abs or something they said or did. She'll jump up and down and run around the house if something happened that she really likes and she'll scream at the girls that get too close to her biases.

Don't Make Me Go All Sailor Moon on You One of Suzu's constant goals is to make her life as much like an anime as possible. Everywhere she goes, everything she does, and every moment of every day she thinks "I wonder what an anime character would be doing right now," or "How can I make this activity more like an anime?" It's become such a natural instinct that she now acts like an anime character without even realizing it. She'll wink or close both eyes to appear cute, she'll avoid eye contact and repeat "Eto..." when she's confused or avoiding a question, she'll trip and expect a guy to catch her, and things like that. She basically lives in a fantasy world modeled after her favorite animes, and she's the magical girl. Now, she doesn't exactly believe that she's a magical girl, but wishes she were one. She's incredibly bored with her life. She hates the real world. Nothing interesting every happens here. Nothing romantic, nothing fun, nothing. All the adventure has been out of this world, and Suzu longs for it. She longs for magic, daring sword fights, unexplored lands, guilds, quests, she wants it all. She wants adventure... but she knows that as long as she's stuck in this world she can't have it. When she was little, she used to believe that there were worlds out there that still had adventure, and that she could get there somehow. Unfortunately, she's been forced to grow up and face reality. Still, whenever she sees a shooting star or it's 11:11, adventure is the one thing she wishes for. In order to obtain a form of adventure, she often fantasizes that she's in another world with adventure and she has adventures in her head. Due to this hobby, she daydreams and spaces constantly.

Kyoya! Mon Ami! Suzu is as hyperactive as a little kid on a sugar high. She never seems to run out of energy. She could run for miles, talking the whole time, and never lose even an ounce of her energy. Though this can tire a lot of people out, it can be a lot of fun too, if you can handle it. Suzu's a very bubbly person so she almost always has a smile on her face and something positive to say. She's an optimist and maybe a bit of an idealist, but for a lot of people it's refreshing to see someone who appears so happy all the time. Of course, she's not actually happy all the time since she hates this world, but she's decided not to let that show and to simply make the best of what she has. Anyway, Suzu is crazy and doesn't care what other people think of her. She'll blurt out random things or do something completely weird (like sticking chopsticks up her nose) and not give one flipping about what others say of her. Why should their opinions matter? As long as she's having fun, she doesn't care what others say. Yes, this attitude does make her a bit loud and obnoxious at times, but at least she isn't afraid to be who she is.

Who Put That Pole There? Suzu is your typical baka. School isn't her forte and she's in all the lowest classes. She fails in math constantly and science is her second worst subject. School just doesn't click with her, not to mention that she's too lazy to do her homework and study. On top of that, she's a total clutz. She's mastered the art of tripping over flat surfaces and she's a pro at running into things. She has two left feet that somehow manage to be graceful at times and clumsy the rest of the time. Just to make matters worse, she's a complete ditz. She's slow to pick up on what others are feeling and it takes her a while to figure out what people are saying if they don't put it simply or straightforward. She's also incredibly forgetful, so if you've made plans with her make sure to remind her at least 4 times or else she's likely to completely forget about it.

( background ) :

Suzu was born in Arita, Japan. It was a town in the Saga Prefecture near the bottom of the country, It's population was around 2,000 and what it's mainly known for is it's Arita Porcelain. Nearly half the stores in the city are selling porcelain dolls, table wear, tea sets, nick-nacks, vases and anything else you can make from porcelain. Suzu was born to one of those dime and dozen Arita Porcelain makers. They owned a small shop on a street with at least four other venders of basically the same merchandise. As you can image, competition was tough and the income wasn't too high. Still, the family managed to get by with a little help from Suzu's mother's part-time job at a restaurant.

Suzu was born into a reasonably happy family, with a brother about 2 years older. His name was Akihiro. From the day Suzu was born, Akihiro was always incredibly protective of her. He loved his baby sister even when he was too young to understand exactly what their relationship was. As they grew up, they were always tight. They played together and ran around together, making for a happy if not chaotic house. The two were balls of sunshine, smiling constantly and never seen apart. However, when Akihiro went to preschool, leaving Suzu behind, their bond began to break. Though it took a while, by the time Suzu started preschool, Akihiro had his own friends. Suzu was forced to take a back-seat. She hated it and missed her brother dearly. But when kindergarten rolled around, Suzu began to become accustomed to it and was able to intermingle with the other kids. Still, no one clicked with her. She had friends, but no one so close that they became like family.

Then it started. And it started with a click. She was surfing the web when she was in second grade (7 years old) and suddenly came upon an interesting looking tv show. It was called Naruto. The animation was something she hadn't seen before. She had heard other kids talking about anime in class, but her group of friends wasn't interested in it so she'd never seen it before. She fell in love. By the end of that month, Suzu was completely obsessed... not just with anime, but with manga as well. Since she didn't have any really close friends and therefore spent most of her time at home, and she was almost constantly reading manga and watching anime. Her routine was entirely made up of manga and anime for the rest of elementary school and the first two years of Junior High.

Then, in her second year of Junior High (13 years old) Suzu met her soul mate. She was a transfer student coming from Seoul, South Korea named Minji. Being one of the few students at her school that could speak decent Korean, Suzu was assigned to serve as her guide for the first month of her time at the school. Being a guide for someone for a whole month, you talk. But neither talked about anime. They were both afraid that the other wouldn't understand and think them to be a freak. But one day, Minji dropped her back-pack and what peaked out of the top but the cover to a manga book. Suzu automatically recognized it to be Naruto. She almost had a conniption on the classroom floor. She told Minji how much she loved anime and it turned out that Minji was almost as obsessed as Suzu. From then on, they were best friends. She was the one that Suzu clicked with and they talked about everything: not just anime and manga. Suzu's time sitting in front of the tv and reading manga was reduced significantly as she began to go to arcades, movies, karaoke bars, and the like with Minji. But she was only a temporary transfer student. At the end of the term, Minji had to go back to Seoul. The two said a tearful goodbye and promised to keep in contact. They still talk to this day and she's the one that Suzu calls up when she needs advice.

As far as her family goes, they weren't particularly supportive of her manga obsession. Her parents wanted her to get out of the house and be active while her brother didn't particularly like manga. Still, whenever anyone tried to criticize Suzu, Akihiro was there to protect her. He never let anyone bully her and was the guardian angel watching over her, despite being one of the more popular kids in school.

( lifestyle ) :

Suzu currently lives in Akihabara in the dorms of the private high school she attends. She's in her last year of High School and her family decided to send her away after she slipped back into her old habits of doing nothing but manga and anime. The school's pretty tough, but she still has plenty of free time. The main problem is the absence of tvs and computers. So she's been forced to rely mainly on manga for the past year or so. Since her family's economic status isn't the best and the school's entrance fee is rather high, Suzu has been forced to take a job and to take out student loans. Since the family can't afford the tuition as it is, Suzu is forced to buy her own food (when the school doesn't provide it) and her own clothes. But she manages. Living in reasonably large cities her entire life, she's never learned to drive and therefore has to walk everywhere which gives her plenty of exercise. She doesn't have many friends at her private school, but she's in a large group and ocasionally they invite her to come along with them to a karaoke bar, club, or somewhere else.

( trivia )

` ♡ ⋮ IT'S GETTIN' ALL SHOUJO UP IN HERE

( love interest ) : Byun Baekhyun | 18 (but his birthday is in may so after the 6th of may he'd be 19)
( back up ) : Luhan | 19

( persona ) : The Secretly Hot Nerd
( occupation ) : a student at Suzu's school, though he occasionally stops by the cafe

( personality ) :

He generally keeps to himself. Attention isn't his thing and sometimes he ends up breaking under it. He wears glasses and is known by all as the genius that gets straight As and perfect scores on all the tests. He doesn't have many friends and he spends all of his free time studying, doing homework, or researching completely pointless information. It's a bit of a boring lifestyle, and despite all the praise he gets, he's a little bored of the same old routine. But he doesn't know how to break out of it. He's a people pleaser so he doesn't want to ruin their expectations of him by stepping outside of what he's been labeled as: the nerd. He cares a lot about what others think of him and he hates to stand out in a crowd. Having people's eyes on him makes him uncomfortable. So he stays quiet, keeps up his studying routine, and blends into the background like a typical genius wallflower.

Of course, underneath those glasses is a very hot guy. Also underneath his glasses is his sense of adventure, his talkativeness, and his extroversion. The only problem is that he doesn't know how to take the glasses off and reveal what's beneath.

( how did you two meet? ) :

Though they went to the same school, they never really talked. He was in all the smart classes while she was in all the dumb ones. They never had any physical interaction. But Baekhyun watched her from a distance. It sounds creepy, but that wasn't how he meant it. He was captivated by her bubbly personality, by her willingness to stand out, by her ability to keep her cool under pressure, and her carefree lifestyle. All of these were things that Baekhyun wanted desperately, but he didn't know how to obtain them. He was envious, maybe even jealous. Why couldn't he be like that? Why couldn't he be able to say whatever he wanted and get away with it? Why couldn't he be spontaneous and spend hours at an arcade with friends? But no matter how much he wished for it, he couldn't step out of his comfort zone and routine. So he watched.

Well Suzu was watching too. Now she's not always a good judge of character. Actually she's almost never a good judge of character. But every now and then she would catch Baekhyun looking at her and they'd make eye contact for a second before he turned away. In that second, Suzu could see it in his eyes. His unhappiness. She didn't know what was causing it or why he was directing it at her, but she could tell he wasn't a bundle of joy. She thought about it a lot, but the only explanation she could come up with was that he got a 99 on a test instead of a 100. And being the derp she is, she believed her own ridiculous idea. So she approached him about it.

The next task was to find him, and where else to look for a genius but the library? So she went there, and lucky her, he was sitting at a table reading a fancy looking book on Quantum Physics. He was surprised when she approached him, and a bit nervous. He didn't like talking to people. But she didn't realize. So she went into a long and serious rant about how it's impossible to be perfect and how he shouldn't be so hard on himself. The entire time he sat there, confused, but not wanting to interrupt. At the end of her speech she finally asked the question, "So what test did you get a 99 on?" After that he was even more confused. He hadn't gotten a 99. So after a little explaining, Suzu finally got the picture that he wasn't upset because of a test score. So she insisted on him telling her the real reason. She refused to leave until he did so. Normally, he wouldn't have told her, but she was making such a racket and the librarians had already asked them to be quiet three times. So to shut her up, he told her. He tried to leave as much emotion out of it as possible, but he admitted to being bored of his life as "the nerd". Suzu was shocked. She'd give anything to be as smart as him. But she didn't question his motives. She knew what it was like to be bored out of your mind. So she decided to help him.

( relationship ) : They're close friends, though I wouldn't quite go as far as saying best friends. At least, not yet.

( how they act )

They spend a decent amount of time together. Suzu is determined to help Baekhyun (or Bacon as she sometimes calls him) break out of his boring lifestyle, and doing so is also helping her stay entertained. She often shows up at his house unexpectedly and peels him away from his textbooks to go to an arcade or karaoke room together. Though his grades are dropping (he's now getting As instead of A+s so it's not that big of a deal), he doesn't really mind. Already, Suzu's introduced him to the meaning of the word "fun". But this relationship doesn't only benefit Baekhyun, it's also helping Suzu. Not only is it getting her away from her manga addiction, but in some ways he's refilling the gap that was previously filled by Minji. Though they didn't click automatically, Baekhyun is slowly working his way up to the top of Suzu's list of people she's close to. Though they still have a long way to go before Baekhyun is a "free spirit", he's gradually feeling more comfortable in crowds and is able to step out of his routine, though not fully yet.

Of course, Suzu has attempted many times to get Bacon into anime and manga. She's literally forced him into a chair and made him watch anime or forced a manga book into his hands and stared at him till he read it, but he hasn't taken a huge liking to it. Still, he's willing to listen to Suzu's rants on it. Also, he secretly is very into Death Note. The logic and intense trains of thought in the show intrigue him, though he hasn't let Suzu know that he's reading/watching it. He knows that if she found out, she'd not only rant nonstop on it for days, but throw five million other mangas at him that are in her mind similar.

` ♡ ⋮ WELCOME HOME, MASTER

( how did you find out about this job? ) :

Well I was out looking for a job as soon as I got here in order to start getting paid as soon as possible. Honestly I wasn't looking forward to it at all. I usually spent my extra time reading manga and watching anime and between school and a job I'd have barely any time left. So I was in a pretty bad mood going in and out of places asking if they needed help, But then I saw this little Maid Cafe and it hit me. That would be the perfect place to work. It'd be like a dream come true! So I went in and requested an application, and here I am now!

( why do you need this job? )

Well my family isn't in the best economic status and I go to a private school so it's hard for them to support me. I have to pay part of my tuition and buy my own clothes, not that I'm complaining about the second part. But basically I need a job to help my family while they're sending me to my school. And I mean, what better job could there be than a maid cafe?

( how do you feel about dressing up in costumes and themed events? ) :

I couldn't be happier. It's like I stepped into my favorite anime. I wish I could spend all day every day here at the cafe because it's so much nicer and more fun than the real world.

( how would you deal with a customer who was trying to harass you? ) :

That's a tough one. Maybe I'd pumble him or ask him to step outside and beat the daylights out of him. Or maybe I'd just snap back some witty comment at him that would shut him up for good. That's how anime characters always react. If that didn't work though, I'd probably slap him to stun him and then run and get the manager to kick him out.

( of all the other workers, who do you get along best with? ) :

The Older Senpai because she goes along with my rants and though she isn't as crazy as I  am about manga, she listens to and encourages me. She's a lot of fun and being rather crazy myself, we have a lot of fun causing chaos and driving our co-workers insane.

( and who do you not get along with? ) :

The Average Wallflower. She's no fun and when I try to talk to her she barely says anything back. I don't know how to act around her and it's easier to just pretend that she's not there, though I'll admit I feel kinda bad whenever I do that.

( what is your favourite manga and why? ) :

OMG!!!! There are sooooooooo many!!!! How do you expect me to chose!?!?!?!?! Well there's Ouran High School Host Club, and Kaichou wa Maid-sama, Starry Sky, My Bride is a Mermaid,  and so many more!!! And then there are animes and visual novels like Amneisa, Fate Stay Night, Air, Romeo x Juliet and tons more!!! How can you possibly ask for me to chose my favorite!?!?! So to answer this question, I will simply say that I love every manga/anime/visual novel out there, especially fluffy romancey shoujo ones XD

` ♡ ⋮ PLEASE COME BACK SOON

( scene suggestions ) : Honestly, I don't have any. Feel free to do whatever you want with my character!!! =D

( themed event day suggestions ) :

Kiss a Maid Day - patrons that pay a special (most likely ridiculously high) price get to throw a dart at a wheel with all the maids' names on it and they get to kiss the maid who's name their dart lands on

Traditional Day - all the maids dress up in kimonos

Wig Day - all the maids wear wigs

Lolita Day - the maids dress up in lolita costumes

Cosplay Day - the maids dress up as their favorite anime characters and the customers are welcomed to come in cosplay as well

Angel Day - the maids dress up like angels with wings and halos

Mew Mew Day - idk if you've read/seen Tokyo Mew Mew, but all the girls could dress up like those characters with tails and ears and whatnot

(I'm sorry if these , but all the ones that keep coming to mind are from Kaichou wa Maid-sama and I'm sure you guys already know about those...)

( comments/questions/etc ) : I just have to say, I seriously love you for making this. Not only is it really pretty and organized, but this has been the perfect outlet for all my feels as I've been catching up in Maid-sama and especially Amnesia (idk if you're watching/playing it, but you should because it's INCREDIBLE!!!). So thank you soooooooo much for doing such an incredible job!!! =D (and I promise I'm not just saying that to up)
