Appearance → Long black hair, porcelain white skin and coal eyes devoid of emotion. Her hair looks to be a bit more of a mixture between copper brown and raven in the sun. She never lets her hair down as it is very thick and mixed with the warm temperature of the beach, she's bound to sweat like a pig and have her hair stuck everywhere. Despite all this, she always ties her hair up because that how she likes it. Tall, with really long & pretty set of legs. She is slim despite the unnatural amount of food she intakes - snacks, ice-creams, meals, you name it. Curves in all the right places - not that she's bragging but she's quite gifted in the upper area. She has her ears pierced at the lobes and only that. She doesn't color her hair nor does she believe in getting a new set of nail paint every week or lying out in the sun to tan her skin. Au natural, all the way. But she does comb her hair in different ways reflecting her mood - french braids, scarfs, updos and many more. Also wears one simple anklet on her left feet whenever it time to hit the beach.

Style → 'If you don't have it, fake it. If you've got it, flaunt it.' That's her wardrobe statement. Soah doesn't live in monotonous hues of colors that repeat itself. Her wardrobe is a myriad of shades that can even rival chameleon itself. She likes to mix and match and create something unique that defines her. She often wears shorts - floral prints, denims, cotton, satin, etc paired with loose tops that do not attract attention to her chest as she wants people to speak to her face not her bust. Dresses are some honorable mentions too but she doesn't prefer jeans that much as they have a habit of sticking to her legs. If she wants to cover her legs, she'll wear long maxi dresses or floor length skirts.

Description →

Kind-hearted but hesitant to show it, Yong Soah is a walking paradox. With her heads up in the clouds, it isn't out of ordinary to see her doing odd things. For example, counting how many people have their hair loose or how the sun felt colder yesterday than it did today. A little out of it, Soah is a bit wacky around the edges but completely harmless like a new-born puppy. But cross a line, she'll turn in a rampaging Godzilla in an instant. A bit blank-faced Soah has a habit of slipping into a neutral mask as she doesn't like showing her emotions. She feels that if she opened up to people, they'd be easily able to see how she's feeling. She'd feel raw, to the core without the heavily guarded armour of nonchalance. Hence, even at such age Soah has zero friends. But that's just as fine as she prefers her own company of silence rather than people chattering away until her ears bleed. Maybe it because of the lack of social contact, Soah doesn't know how to be careful with her words. She's blunt and straight-forward to the point of wincing. She doesn't get why people won't face the truth just as it is rather than go around it. No matter her non-existent social skills, Soah is an easy prey to emotional blackmail, if you just know the right buttons to push.

A bit selfish, Soah can be inconsiderate of others. If she wants something, she'll get it without thinking how her actions might affect others. Overlooking this trait, Soah is someone who ponders a lot on the smallest of things. Well that's what people who don't have or don't want friends do, Soah being the latter. There are very few things that scare her. So she can be a bit reckless sometimes, not giving any thought to her actions, more of the fist over words type. Stubborn yet fragile, Soah hates being pitied just as much as being deemed a damsel in distress. She doesn't accept the help of others not because of her strong sense of pride but because she hates incurring debts. She's afraid of what might be asked of her in return, hence she'll bite her lips and keep it in rather than give the impression of being in dire need of help. A fierce warrior when provoked Soah can be deceptively gentle too, well as gentle as she can get. She can be amiable but makes sure not to get too friendly so that she doesn't get involved in a social circle.

Favorite ice cream flavor → Alphonso and cream. The first time she came upon by this shack, it was pure coincidence. She was just out on one of her walks as she was feeling pretty low after one particular nasty comment directed at her in school. Since the shack was out of all the flavours and this was the only remaining option available, Soah took it in hopes of sugar helping to cheer her up. When she ate it, she immediately liked it; the thick, creamy and rich taste the mixture of mangoes and cream provided. Since then it became a routine for her to treat herself to one of these whenever something happened, great or small, be it a congratulatory occasion or a bad day. She believed it contained mysterious healing abilitites and every time she ate it, she'd tell herself that she'd come out stronger than this the next time she ate it.

Biography →

Soah comes from a pretty well-off family. Not exactly filthy rich but not middle-class either, somewhere right in between. Between her elder sister and younger brother, she's the only saving grace of her family. Her sister pretty much distanced herself from her parents the moment she hit her teen years. Her parents thought they were doing it right when they put her in a hostel far away from Paradise. Too bad she picked up the wrong friends. Boozing, smoking, partying and whatnot, she's not the exact role model sister her parents wanted her to be. Her sister hates them just as much for distancing herself away from them just so they could focus better on their younger two children. Despite her shortcomings, she cares for her siblings and doesn't want them to take the wrong turn she took. Her brother turned out to be just as much hopeless as his elder sister. Getting into fights, being jailed at a young age and a drop-out from high school, but no matter what he always had mother by his side to dote upon him. No matter his habits, her mother would always be a bit lenient on him. Her brother happened to take right after her father - quick tempered, a total flirt and a proud fool. Despite his reputation, Soah is his second favourite girl in the whole world, right after his mother. Her father is pretty much onto shamelessly flirting with girls half his age, while her mother still has to work up the backbone to divorce him. Dysfunctional and far from being perfect, they are still as happy as they can be.

Since it was Soah who always did her homework without having to be told, got consistent good grades and knew the importance of studies, pretty much didn't like socializing, she turned out different from her siblings. It was then that her parents started to burden her with their unneccessary expectations. They always hoped for what never came for their other children when it came to her. If she somehow couldn't do it the right way, they'd be easily disappointed with her. She never asked them to believe in her just because her pathetic excuse of a father didn't know the ways of parenting - he never once attended a parent's function when it came to his children. It was always mom and only mom. [Hence there's the bridge between the children and him.] It was suffocating. Always being told what she could do and couldn't do while her brother and sister were allowed to do whatever came to their mind. Hence, she wants more than anything to get out from Paradise. She's not content with what she has here and wants to create a place for herself, somewhere she feels at home. She's only waiting for the day where she can start earning all by herself and move out from her home.

Except for reminding her that she still survives with the support of her parents , Soah learned, they'd never have time for her. They were all so busy living their lives, they'd never see how she'd fared. Sure they dined together, were on perfectly normal talking terms with each other but their lives were enough to make Soah learn she didn't, no shouldn't lean on anyone to survive. That's how she ended up knowing her own company was more reassuring than all those people around her who'd continuosly poke at her limitations. She built herself up to be strong, the comments which made her cry only served up to thicken her armour as she grew up. As of now, she doesn't like bothering herself with anyone. She speaks for herself, lives for herself and talks for herself and no one else.

       

Lifestyle → She could be deemed rich as she was always dropped off to her school in a private car by her driver. Her house is a quaint and beautiful one, simple yet undeniable in its grandeur. A quite villa near the egde of the forest, with their own vegetable garden in the back. Despite her mother nearly suffering from a heart fail when she wanted to work a part-time job and demanding she take the car, Soah refused. She wanted to start by taking the local train, one which she'd start having to get accustomed to if she wanted to make it on her own. It's a 15 minutes journey by the train and another 5 minutes on foot until she reaches the Ice Cream Shack.

Education → University - 1st Year | Majoring in Fashion Design & Psychology

Job application → Truth be told, Soah thought the Ice Cream Shack would be an easy target. I mean there are country clubs and companies that would have paid more and be more fitting for a person of her qualifications. But since it was in a miserable state, she knew many people would not apply for jobs there that actually had the ability of flying away in the middle of a thunderstorm. Also, she thought if she did land a job there, it would give her more confidence and experience for her next job interview. Putting the easy target aside, Soah wanted some pocket money for herself. Sure she hailed from a pretty well-off background and got what she named but that didn't mean she got a monthly allowance of pocket change. She wanted to start earning her own money, she did not want depend on her parents anymore. Hence, the job. This is her first job at the Ice Cream Shack and she's working a bit more harder than the job requires her to but some of the customers there would mention that they wouldn't mind if she smiled a little while handing them their ice-cream rather than look like she doesn't want them there in the first place.

Personality → Held in high regard by everyone surrounding him, a cool, calm, collected and charismatic individual, if there were anyone deserving of the award 'The Man to look up to', it would be him, Kris Wu. But then again, if there was anyone else even more worthy of the award 'The Two-faced Bastard of the Century', it would be none other than him. It seems Kris lives his life fooling people. To everyone who don't know him well, he's the poster-boy for the most eligible bachelor. With his refined behaviour, gorgeous sense of fashion, he's an individual who's warm at heart despite the strict way he was raised. He's someone who can easily cut down a man twice his size through his words alone and at the same time send them happily back home with a candy in their hand. And to the selected numbers whom he can count on his one hand alone, he's the reincarnation of evil. He's mean, cold & ruthless behind the nice mask he wears. He's someone who'll tease them until they're ready to cry from sheer mortification itself, only to stop and apologize and then go back to teasing again, telling them they're an idiot if they thought he would ever apologize for something he had every right to do so. His mask is so solid, people would send the individual who spoke of his true nature to the mental hospital thinking he's delirious. Because of this he can keep on continuing his terrorizing act without anyone even so much as doubting his real nature.

However fact comes down to it, that he has undeniable leadership qualities, possesses a Screw-with-me-and-see-what-I'll-do attitude, cares deeply and fiercely for the ones who were lucky enough to snag a place in his heart, is humble and polite and the iest man to have walked on the face of this planet. 

Relationship → It was only with the of pure dumb fate that Soah happened to come across him when he was clutching onto his last strand of patience. From then on, it was war. People around her don't understand why she doesn't like him. Too bad, they can't share the same sentiments. What Kris likes about her is that she speaks her mind. If she doesn't like someone, she'll tell it to their face and expect them to get lost rather than talk behind their backs. Due to his austere upbringing, the polite-est manners were instilled into him, making him always think about his actions twice and watch what he said. So he can only watch with keen fascination when Soah tells people twice her age that they're behaving like uptight s. What Soah doesn't like about him is the way he can persuade people just through the eloquency of his words alone whereas she has to resort to beating the information in. This is what he often teases her about, that she'd easily pass for a primitive and is a stain in the human society. This is how they often greet each other with Soah's "Hey -face, had a tea party with the psychologist consulting your twisted disorder?" and Kris' "Yo Amazon, stop manhandling my feelings."

When Soah didn't know about him, she thought he was a character straight out from a manga. When she did - she started hating him with burning passion. To make matters worse, he had it all - the support of his family, good looks, loyal friends and a life worth envying for. The fact that he acted ignorant of such things only drove the nail harder, her hatred burning deep. But then he told her, life is not a candyland, not for anyone, not even him. And it was then that she started to see, they were not that different, just individuals standing on different grounds.

Personality → Gentle, soft-spoken and always lost in his own world, he won't even harm a fly. Definitely not the manly type Soah prefers. He's passive and prefers to do things at his own pace. There's no hurrying him. The apolcalypse could be knocking at his door and he'd be calmly sipping his coffee. But he can be very passionate about things he likes and takes them seriously. A bit on the playful side, he likes wagering bets on stupid things. He has a calming aura, the one that immediately makes you lower your guard down. And Soah doesn't like it one bit, for God knows if he turns out to be a creeper in disguise. Sweet-natured and adorably shy in unfamiliar environment, how could girls not fall for him. Too bad, Soah deems his manly scale a bit on the feminine side.

Relationship → If they were in a relationship, almost 9 out of 10 people would bet that Soah wore the pants in their relationship. She comes off as a bit agrressive to Lay but thats just because he's more quiet than an average person. Though it may not look like it, Lay can calmly control her way of thinking. It's his warm heart that gently prods at her and makes her follow his directions without making it feel like he's controlling her. Soah often mistakes his lean physique for malnutrition and tries to put a little extra in his scoop whenever she can, hoping that at least some sugar will help him gain energy. They are very civil with each other as both of them are lost in their own world and besides Soah thinks he'll burst into tears if she so much as glares at him while Lay just can't find it in him to get mad at the opposite .
