First, let's make this clear. This is not directed at anyone. Just an observation I made.

Okay, so you write a story and wants some comments right? I mean everybody love comments, it makes one think, 'hey, there're people who likes my story! I should write more.' Or it could be just a simple motivation. 

Don't come and lie and say you doesn't care about the comments. 

Because, I'm sure it's very disappointing to post a new chapter or new story and then not received the 'New Story Comments' notification even after one whole day. And it's worse when you have subscribers but received no comments, it makes one think, 'Did they subscribed to me for fun? Or is my story not worth commenting.' 

What makes thing worse. I see some really good stories without any much comments. And those ahem cliche and repeated and bad grammar-ed/structured stories received tons. Why? Because it's a You story and it's an EXO fic. I have nothing against EXO but I have something against YOU stories/OC stories. If I want to read a story on OC, I would have went to the library not coming online to AFF. 

I came here because I want to read about people/idols I ship! Because this is the only place my OTP can ever get together! But what? This place has become a place where fans and idols hooked up together after a day of knowing each other. 

So all I can say is, do appreciate those nice and well written stories that's buried so deep under the YOU fics. And if you're subscribing to one of them, leave them some comments occasionally. It will definitely make their day. 

BUT!

If you're going to comment, please don't just ask them to update soon. I see those kind of comments everywhere - Soompi, AFF, FF.net blah blah. This type of comments should be considered as spam. Or for AFF instant, for the karma points only. Comment on how you feel on the chapter, which part is your favourite. What do you hope will happened? Authors love reading this kind of comment. 

Ask yourself, you do right? :)
