Ever Had Your Characters Come To Life In a Way You Didn't Plan To?

For the current story I'm writing, two of my characters Jinyoung and Jeongyeon are leading the writing everytime I'm writing them. Like their personalities come to life in a way I never plan for them to. It's not a bad thing; I'm just amazed at it. It's like when I'm writing, their personalities come out like that and those scenes were being led by them.

Do you guys have any experiences like this?

Hey ddeokbxkkii! Just wanna share to you that I also experience it to my characters. Well since we're both fan of Gottwice ships, I also had the same lead characters Jinjeong or Jihbum or other pairs but my stories are mostly about this two. It's really nice that you talk abou your characters that leads into simething you didn't plan to happen from the start. Yeah it happens all the time with me too and and it's nice how the character develops in your story and then you realize that it just worked even you didn't think it to happen like this before.
