welcome to another rant of mine! sorry for filling up your notifs. i just am being too productive :/

about your first fanfic.

yes, that horrible fanfic that involves queenka and kingkas? HAHAHA MAYBE NOT. my first fanfic was centered in EXO-K, based on the song "machine". and then i created my second fanfic, aeternalis. i quickly became uninterested in "MACHINE", and i deleted it :/ i have great plots tho. but yeah, having 6 guys falling inlove with you and all 6 of them becoming your boyfriends IS NOT COOL. yes i admit that was the ending i planned because i can't choose from one of them only

i became interested in EXO because of MAMA. yes, i admit i was not with them at the start. there was this time i was skeptical about kpop. why you ask? because i was immersed in jpop back then. yeah. sue me.
but then when i learned about them- and learned how to recognize them- i became their fan. creying over them, smiling over them, ah, wasn't that beautiful. sharing about EXO with my friends.

back to first fanfics.

i read some description that says "hey this is ____ and this is my story! this is my first fanfic and english was not my 1st language so please no rude comments!" and i died a little inside. you can put that on the foreword, seriously.

and your first fanfic being tagged "romance", with a cliche story line, that's one way to boost your popularity. oh, and advertising too. i never advertised my story. yeah, sometimes, but spamming? no. don't ever do that. you'll just ruin the whole point of writing a fanfic.

yeah, probably you'll just be extremely giddy on the inside when you receive subscribers. but for me? the biggest relief when i completed chapter 5 of aeternalis was that i actually finished the whole damn 2k+ words chapter. and a plus point; being able to convey my imagination through it. it made be wholly satisfied. proud.
my suggestion if you're writing your first fanfic and you do not want to be labeled as "cliche-writer"? search beyond the romance tag.

the fanfic i was most proud of is aeternalis, and i have decided that there will be no romance.
