Directioners vs Kpoppers

Directioners vs Kpoppers

So…this is a rant..but I HAVE to get this out. I might loose subscribers for this. Before I start, know one thing: I am NOT a directioner! I hate their music and faces ~_~ They can’t sing or dance…
So today..one of my Directioner friends from school mentioned something about 1D and how cute they were or something like that. Being a kpopper and seeing many many gorgeous men compared to 5 boys, I argued & said that my kpop men were better. This got my Directioner friend ticked off and she backfired by saying “At least I know what they’re saying! You don’t even know what your idols are saying!”
Okay. Stop. Bish.
Does that matter? Does it matter that even though most people in America can’t speak Korean or understand it, yet Gangnam Style was (still is) such a huge sensation. Does it matter that I don’t know the words that leave their mouth? Is that what music is about? Understanding the words? I honestly think that when you don’t understand the words, kpop is more beautiful. It just amazes me how kpoppers can be touched even if some have NO idea what they are saying.
Okay cool =_= so then she told me that I only like kpop because of their faces and looks. NO. To clarify, I like kpop for the music AND looks :P
If I can’t understand Korean, but still listen to it and can still be so touched by their music (and sometimes cry from hearing them), then this “music” really affects me. It can cheer my up when none of my friends would. It is my dreams and inspiration. The songs aren’t about like getting high, drugs, or . Kpop doesn’t have lame love song lyrics like “Oh those freckles on your cheeks.” or “When I was 13, I had my first love. She drove me crazy” yadadadada. NO. Listen to me, stupid directioners. Kevin and Hoon sang a song that was about Kiseop. Kiseop admitted that the lyrics were how he felt when he was in depression for TWO MONTHS. He wanted to kill himself. But he didn’t. What does 1D have? Stupid love songs that have no meaning to me.
My connection to kpop is nothing little. It is more than a “hobby.” It’s what makes me happy. It makes me cry. Kpop is my air. So, the Directioner who told me this….just watch what you say because it might be fiction. :)) Don’t mess with kpoppers. ^_^

You are perfectly right kpop is a lifestyle a way of treating people and the idols taught me respect no matter how famous they are they respect others and they work harder than one direction they are better trained and they had to overwork their minds and body for years to become how they are their voices are natural and they dance professionally too plus CL said that "music is a universal language u don't have to understand music to listen to it". I am mentally effected by those sh*tty directioners who keep on saying things like ur fu*king idols all look the same and they are fr-male or gays i think they are being racist fo god's sake they even made fun of EunB and Rise and guess what they are dead directioners are b*tches that's it we didn't even insult how anyone looks like but they should look in the mirror before sayin anything i know im blabbering but im upset

When I needed some one to take me away from my life for a moment and give me peace or make me laugh then Kpop did that for me, it really is part of my life now, it if a part of everyone's (if you're a Kpopper that is) lives. We need Kpop just as Kpop needs us.

Fighting!

I tottaly agree with you...i (sadly) live in irealnd and there is not much kpop fans in my school and when i say something about one direction they just stare at me an hte me but when i they say something about kpop they act as if they have the rights to do that....no offence but its kinda mean because sometimes this also happens if an Irish person likes kpop they dont start bashing kpop ...just because im not Irish they strart ewwwwing at kpop some people are so racist especially Irish girls in my school..T.T

I feel really sad about this. I mean, I'm not a big Directioner, but I listen to some of their songs, I admit that, but nothing can compare to kpop, not 1D, not JB, no one! Kpop is like air for me, I can't live without it. And it literally saved my life. Because of those hard working guys I am motivated to continue with my life and work hard!
Kpop jjang!

DON'T MESS WITH US, BIIIITCH xDDDD
I'm not even into 1D. I mean, really? NU'EST and EXO and Big Bang have sooooooo much more gorgeous guys. They're exotic (cuz they farther east than England xD) and they sound amazing. And it doesn't freaking matter if you don't understand. You might get frustrated, but when you look up the English lyrics? You're touched by the meaning. 1D? They are a freaking repeat~

'Music has no language barrier.'
