Power of 5: DB5K (UNKNOWN --> Cassiopeia)

*Who were they? IDK and I don't care... (UNKNOWN --> Cassiopeia)
Truthfully I never knew about DBSK until 2012, when TVXQ came to the Sydney KPOP Concert in 2011. When I first saw them perform there I was bored and instantly ignored them when they performed. I kept saying who the hell were they and omg are they a new group, I even took a short nap. My half korean and jap friend kept insisting that they were popular and was shocked how I didn't know them. But seriously I didn't care about them and just patiently waited for the next act.

It was now 2012 and Super Junior was going to hold a concert here, my big sister who is a huge elf immediately booked VIP tickets to it. So during that time till the concert I completely opened myself up to Super Junior: learned all their names and listened to other songs by them instead of 'Sorry sorry' and other mainstream songs. I knew Super Junior and that they were popular but never really got into them. Soon we Aussies received news that the concert was cancelled and my friend who was a new kpopper and ELF cried also my sister and I was pissed and depressed. I had just become a fan of them and they turned out not to be coming. So during that year I got to learn more about the companies like SM, YG and JYP. Soon learning Super Junior, SHINee, f(x) and SNSD were in the same company. However I barely knew f(x) but now I'm a huge fan. I only knew the SM groups: SNSD and SHINee. Soon I began huge fans of all the SM groups and had an obsession with checking out the group the company was on, and also checking kpop groups + year they debuted (on Wikipedia). I then found out about DBSK when I came across their Wikipedia page, reading I became confused with all the JYJ and TVXQ stuff so I exited out of it. Soon I learnt of JYJ's song 'In Heaven' and became addicted so I checked the MV and stuff, and I never noticed that JYJ was in DBSK. Later on I soon came across TVXQ due to them being in SM (huge SM fan) and began addicted to their music. I soon checked their Wikipedia page and relished there was a relationship with TVXQ and JYJ. I learnt of their history and disbandment, feeling pity and a slight grudge on JYJ for leaving. However I soon learnt of their difficult contract and came to respect them.

I started reading fanfics on them and learnt their names and more about them. And every DBSK fanfic their was, every author yearned for them to reunite as 5 and perform together. I agreed with that knowing it is actually quite a selfish request especially with the court issues and stuff. I learned more on their amazing fan group: Cassiopeia. They were a supportive and number ONE fan club, seeing their support and love shown through all the red lights in their concerts. I felt pity for all of them knowing that their favourite group disbanded and in which wasn't quite long ago too. I immediately remember the concert in 2011 and regretted not cheering and supporting TVXQ, I seriously wanted to hit myself for not knowing who the fabulous duo was and not knowing their pain and hardship.

I am currently a Cassiopeia even though they have disbanded, I am now one of the fans wanting and waiting till they will reunite as 5 but for now I will support both groups with love. I watched 'I AM' a SM DVD which showed pre debut footage, in which TVXQ had none at all since they didn't want to show the other 3 members. The TVXQ members talk about how nervous they were and how they possibly lost all their fans when they will arrive at the SMtown performance. Even though it isn't as dominating as before fans still turned up and showed their support. I was so glad that SM and JYJ's legal battle is over, I hope they get to become friends again and be close without being criticised harshly. Knowing they probably won't reunite (sad but true) I hope they can just perform one more concert together as 5 for a final parting for their Cassiopeia fans!!!

--Even though they split and disband they still have the power to gain fans for DBSK--

JYJ and TVXQ forever~

Reli? Lol when I went to the Sydney concert I was kinda bored until tvxq's performance XD I was mind blown and impressed by their powerful performances because honestly, I was a little disappointed at some of the other groups' live singing and dancing :O

HoMin and JYJ's music styles are very different from old DB5K.
I love DB5K's music (I'm okay with HoMin and JYJ's music but I don't love it) What makes them stand out among other groups are their acapellas and live performances.
I've been a Cassie before the breakup (2006) so it has been pretty hard on me. Many new kpoppers ignore TVXQ, thinking they're either too old or rookies...if only they knew DBSK back in their glory days (best year is 2007)
I mean people should watch a live performance of them or listen to a live acapella, they will make your heart feel things that you can't describe.
