I have noticed a lot of people that complain about good stories. They complain about the characters and other unnecissary things and don't pay attention to the plot. You don't have to like the characters to like the story. And even if the character at first  doesn't mean they will later on. Maybe there is a life lesson the person has to learn but characters change. Quit complaining and listen to the story.
