This is basically the stages I go through each time a new idea for a story pops into my head.

1st: It gets stuck in my head.

Ex:

*Key: Siblings - me

Curse - fiancee

Teacher - teacher

Vamp - editor*

Curse: Babe, what do you want for dinner?

Siblings: *not listening*

Curse: Babe? *waves hand in front of face* You there?

Siblings: That would make a good scene...

Curse: Are you getting another story idea or something?

Siblings: *Still lost in thought*

2nd: I start muttering about it while distracted.

Teacher: Siblings, are you paying attention?

Siblings: *Muttering and tapping pencil on desk*

Curse: Hun! *Pokes me in the side* Babe! The teacher's calling you!

Siblings: *Nods head* Uh-huh...this should happen after that though...

Teacher: *Looks at the muttering girl and sighs* *Turns to Curse* Just makes sure she gets the homework for tomorrow done.

Curse: *Chuckles nervously* No problem, teach.

3rd: I start re-search to make sure things in my story makes sense.

Curse: *Wraps arms around Sibling who's typing on the laptop* Hey babe. *kisses cheek*

Siblings: *Leans back to his arms a little, still typing* *Distracted* Hey babe...

Curse: *happy he got a response rather than more typing* Watcha doin'?

Siblings: *typing* That's nice hun...

Curse: *confused* Huh? What did you just say?

Siblings: *still typing* It's at wednesday next week...4 o'clock.

Curse: *Looks into laptop screen and reads* "SHINee concert next wednesday, tickets available by 4 o'clock today"

4th: I start doubting and writing

Siblings: *Staring into screen* I don't know how to do this...

Curse: *watching TV* You've done this a lot of times. Just go with what you feel like writing.

Siblings: it's not that easy!

Curse: You always say that, but you always make it in the end.

Siblings: Can't you call Vamp? *Pleading eyes*

Curse: *not looking at eyes* You know she's probably at work right now...

Siblings: Then what should I do now??? I don't know how to do this! *Whines*

Curse: Just go with what you want it to be! *Stands up, kisses me on the forehead and goes to bed*

Siblings: *Staring into blank screen* ...I still don't know how to do this.

5th: I start to edit

Siblings: *listening to music, and typing*

Curse: *Looks in screen* You finally started it, huh?

Siblings: *distracted* Uh-huh...oh, this should go after that instead...

Curse: How long do you think you're gonna be making this one?

Siblings: *shrug* I don't know yet...this should really be with this...

Curse: Are you gonna be sending it to Vamp after you're done?

Siblings: *nods head* Oh wait...this part doesn't make sense...

Curse: What are you doing?

Siblings: This part doesn't make sense!

Curse: It looked fine to me...

Siblings: Well not to me! *huffs* *Looks over current work* *groans and highlights entire thing* UGH! This is annoying! *Presses delete*

Curse: Why'd you do that?!

Siblings: *shrugs* It didn't make sense. *Starts again*

6th: I finally post it and look it over

Curse: So, did Vamp approve this one?

Siblings: *Happy smile* Uh-huh!

Curse: Any crucial changes?

Siblings: *Shakes head* No, just some spelling checks here and a few more details here, while a little less here and there.

Curse: Did you do as she suggested?

Siblings: *nods head* yep.

Curse: And send it back to be reviewed again?

Siblings: *nods head* She told me she didn't have to make any changes this time. Just some spelling errors here and there.

Curse: And you just posted it directly without checking?

Siblings: *Shakes head* I read through it once then posted it.

Curse: *Smiles* Good job! *leaves room*

Siblings: *Looks over posted story with a smile* *Scrolling down, humming a tune* *Notices something* Oh wait...did I just forget to add that scene I wanted...???

Curse: *comes back to a frustrated Siblings* What's wrong?

Siblings: I forgot to add something here! *goes in to edit*

5 minutes later...

Siblings: *gasps* No!

Curse: What is it?

Siblings: *groans into hand* I ended up deleting the whole thing...

Curse: *sweatdrop*

That's pretty much how I write chapters for my stories...it's an endless circle that annoys the crap out of me. I just finished another foreword to a new story, so I just went through this cycle for that...I had to go through it three times though...
