Just today, I had chance to watch Immortal song 2 - Kim BumRyong episode which Hyesung participated.

At first, without knowing any background information about the lyrics of the song Hyesung sang, I thought it was about breakup between lovers. As I have never had any experience of having a lover or experiencing a breakup, I couldn't get myself into the song fully. Yes, partially but not fully.

However, when I found out that the lyric was written when the one who wrote the lyric was thinking of the recently (at that time) deceased father, I listened to the song again. This time, I couldn't stop crying. Thanksfully, my roomate went to her home so she's not in dorm currently..

I couldn't stop thinking of my deceased grandmother even when two years have already past. When the lyric is asking for one more day, I hoped that it was the same for me. As I was not in my motherland and was studying, I couldn't visit her even once after she was diagnosed of cancer. I couldn't visit her even once... According to my mother who went to Korea to be with grandmother, when she was very weak, grandmother asked about my family...

She said that she wanted to see us...

However, my father and I could only meet her when she was already consumed by the illness. It's such a shame that I couldn't see her at least once....... to cheer her up...

At first, when I didn't understand the meaning, I was only listening to Hyesung's voice and looking at him singing but when I understood the meaning, I couldn't listen to his voice. What I was listening to was the lyrics and the song itself...

Urg... I'm being very emotional now...

Hope my grandmother is cozy under the earth and staying without any worries with the nature...
