Another AFF? O-o

http://www.asianfanfiction.com/

Yup here it is. I'm sure you guys have seen this website, but it's kind of my first time finding out about it..it looks pretty nice but there's so many rules like you can't write 'you' fanfics, you can't write without a plot, you can't write reader inserts and your grammar has to look perfect or something? *blinks*

I'm not bashing the owner of the site but I'm curious have you guys heard of it, or have you joined it? Was it created before or after AFF was put up? Not really a huge deal just curious :3

I like the idea of not being allowed to write without a plot only because this is meant to be a fanfic site and not a place for written p0rn /gets bricked. But yeah the grammar thing isn't fair, there's too many rules with grammar for people to be able to remember them all at the time.

I've seen that site before. But as a writer, one must be able to express and write his/her ideas freely. A good choice would be our AFF! I'm enjoying my freedom around here :]

Basically, our AFF is civilization in the making and the other AFF is civilization gone wrong, into the realms of a dictatorship.

Wow, the rules, I wish AFF had some of them. But no "you" stories and no ______ fics? I'm writing a fic about ______ soon... ._.

Oh wait, according to the info blurb, it was created in 2008, so it's older than AFF.

I've seen the site before, and I'm pretty sure it was made after AFF since the rules seems to target specifically the vices on AFF, lol.
I can understand the reasoning behind those rules, but at the same time, they're still limiting freedom of expression. I didn't realize that a misconjugated verb here and there means a story doesn't deserve to be posted. It's kind of silly. Also, what are their standards for what constitutes appropriate grammar? Can you not end sentences with prepositions or start them with coordinating conjunctions? I'm kind of curious.
