First thing first, she's a quirk. She's different and she knows that. When other girls were playing with dolls or plushies, she would stay at the corner and draw on the foggy window, or play with tangerine peels she got from the dumpster. She didn't have many friends because her peer bullied her for being different, because she would say that she's fascinated by frogs or that she loved to play with dead dragonfly wings. She was then quiet and reserved.
But now, living in Seoul, she's in her own element. She starts to bloom. She is still her quirk old self, but she becomes more open to other people. She found friends that respects her behavior, so she starts to feel more comfortable with herself. She has become more confident and more easy on herself, more easy-go-lucky that is. She can talk and make friends in any range of age or race and they are drawn by her uniqueness. Even though sometimes her uniqueness goes too far and her talks start to turn more bizarre and uncomfortable (like, don't you think the wing of a cockroach is beautiful? The way they shine, I think it's so beautiful! Or, I really love the smell of burning copper cable, it smells like chocolate).
She never holds any grudge or bad feelings to other people. She will only hate other people when they've done something that directly affects her in a major way. She's also a very curious girl. She likes to try on new things and always wonders why is it like this? Why is this like that? She loves innovation and values the will that make thoughts into action.
So, overall, she's a lively girl that's fun to talk to. Sometimes she can be too lively and turns weird, sometimes she'll drown in her own world and turns even more weirder. She can be found talking very loudly with her group of friends, or in her workshop, humming while finishing her final sculpt piece. She's relaxed and laid back. She was born in Daegu to a small family. She grew up fine, nothing special, she was average in everything until she found her love for art. At first her mom didn't want her to pursue the career of an artist, because actually she was one when she was young, but at that time, female artists weren't taken seriously. She was afraid that Haneul won't have a good life in that path. Also, she was worried that she won't be able to adapt in a foreign environment. But in the end, after her father helped her persuade her mom, she let Haneul go to Seoul to attend University.
