{ hey jimmy! } Jimin is usually known as the chirpy girl next door. she's generally friendly and pleasant towards people; always smiling and greeting whenever she meets them. a polite and well-mannered girl; she's the person who would give her seat to someone older than her and would help if she sees them having trouble on the streets(lost their way, carrying heavy bags etc.). she's also the type who would drive across the town in the middle of the night just because someone precious to her is in trouble. due to this, her friends and family sometimes worry about her that she puts herself too much before others. but Jimin isn't that oblivious, however, she only gives it all when it comes to people she really cares about and is actually a bit paranoid when she sees suspicious strangers. Jimin tends to get excited over things, even the small ones like getting to eat she craved for weeks or even a kitten its paws by the pavement. she's very observant and like taking details, thus she's the person who always have a story to tell at the end of the day. also takes credit as a huge animal lover, she can easily tear up if she sees news about animal abuse or watches documentaries on people killing sharks or whales. her life principle is "if you want people to respect you, you have to respect them the way you want them to respect you".

{ who run the world? girls } maybe its because of the fact that she went to an all girls' school from elementary up to high school, Jimin sports the 'independent woman' vibe. practically growing up in an all female community, she believes that girls can survive well even without the presence of males; the number one lesson she learned throughout her school life when all the presidents are of course females and programs/events can go well even when there were only girls to organize and do the handy work(building props, setting up floor plans etc.). the sole reason Jimin took engineering as her major, apart from her own interest is that she wants to prove that what people call the 'male profession', females can do the best at it too. she doesn't have many guy friends; the only few are her friends' boyfriends and her boyfriend's bandmates to say the least. she's in friendly terms with her male classmates and coursemates, but her friendly self will shut down an instant when she feels that guys are mistaking her with other intentions and she will treat them coldly afterwards. guys can find her very intimidating as she is not only pretty but smart and confident altogether.

{ where her loyalty lies } one of the things that makes people love to hang around her is that she's a very good listener. her way is always to never interrupt people when they are talking, and only speaks when they really needs her opinion. she always give warm hugs to people who needs it, its her special way of saying 'its alright, everything will turn out fine, you know that you have me'. her friends love to go to her first if they have good news to tell because her responses are always genuine. Jimin is always honest on giving out opinions, and sometimes it can be pretty harsh and she can nag on you for hours but that's how you know that she really cares about you. although she's friendly in general, Jimin is actually really picky on deciding who her 'real' friends are. she's not the type of person who easily trust people with her secrets and problems, but when she does thats how you know she's already comfortable enough to fully trust you. she's the person who will remember about people she cares for. for example, if her housemates haven't come back or will be late for lunch/dinner, she'll remind everyone to save some food for them and be very calculative on the amount of food left. if they went out for a small eat-out and the place is a friend's favourite, she'll call up or text them if they want anything from the store. Jimin is also very protective. if someone tries to touch her friends' stuff without their permission, she'll sound the person not to. if she hears people talking bad about them, she'll never hesitate to stand up for her friends. she loves giving presents to people, either due occasion or just when she feels like it.

{ proceed with caution }  everyone has a dark side, of course, and Jimin is in no position to run away from it. she actually has a temper that she's pretty good at controlling it, but she'll lose it once her patience is tested to the limit. she hates it when people take her for granted, and sees her kindness as something they can toy around with. Jimin can also be very sensitive, especially when people doesn't put much of an effort to value their friendship as much as she does. she rarely cries, but when she does its always because of something that is related to her family and her friends. she's never the one to point it out first when someone does something wrong and upsets her. she'll turn cold towards them and when they asked what's wrong, she'll never hesitate to told them off about it. if they never notice it, she'll try to calm herself and say that maybe its her fault instead or maybe she's overthinking, but she won't talk to them for a few days until she feels that the whole thing is stupid and its best to just forget about it. background; Jimin is the second daughter of three siblings. her parents actually got married legally when Jimin was two, she and her sister are actually children out of wedlock. her parents met when her mother was 21 and her father was 26, met in a local pub where her mother was performing there. her father during that time was a doctor who wanted to further his masters in Canada. her father's family doesn't accept her mother at first, because her mother wasn't from a well-educated family and worked as a singer at a bar, but they protested and lived together. their first child wasn't planned, which angered her father's parents and he eventually got kicked out of the family. his rep wasn't that ruined since he's not in Korea, but since he was still doing his postgrad studies he delayed marrying his wife because he still had to concentrate on his thesis and paid his school fees. her mother's family is more than okay with their relationship, but since they weren't that rich they couldn't help them financially.

Jimin and her sister was sent to an all girls since they started elementary school. When she was 13, her father sent her to a prestigious all-girls boarding school in Canada. it was when she was 16 her father broke the news that he'll be transferring back to Korea. that time Jimin was the only one still in high school, her parents at first decided for her to transfer schools but she didn't want to. after thinking about it, her parents also thought it would be a waste since she only had a year left to graduate so they let Jimin stayed in Canada and went back to Korea for holidays. after graduating high school, Jimin moved to Korea with her family.

FATHER:  Kim Seohoon | 51 | alive | surgeon/university lecturer | strict, protective, loving father | Jimin is basically a daddy's girl. Jimin has always live up to her father's expectations and she's such a sweet and loving daughter, always calling him whenever she has the time to. although her father can be very scary when he's angry but he has a soft spot for Jimin. while her father and her older sister can go into a fight and don't talk for days, the most her father can stand not talking to Jimin is at most 6 hours, and he'll start to worry if anything bad happens to her. he always want what is best for his children, and sometimes what is best can be better. that is why he never really approves of her relationship with her boyfriend, because no matter how nice her boyfriend seems to be, he always feel that there will someone better for her. not that he has something against idols and artists since his wife is a music teacher herself, but he knows how hard it will be for her daughter to be dating a famous person if they are discovered and he wants someone who can really take care and protect her. he also doesn't like the fact that the thing that always get them to fight is when the 'boyfriend issue' is brought up, and how his obedient daughter can argue with him because of the guy.

MOTHER: Sophia Kim/Kim Miyeon | 46 | alive | music teacher/vocal trainer | quirky, understanding, young at heart | her mother is half english half korean and brought up in an artsy family, which makes her more open-minded and lenient than her husband. Jimin and her mother goes along very well, and Jimin always asks her mother to cover up for her when she wants to go somewhere she knows her father will never approve. her mother lets her children be and pursue in anything they love, as long as it doesn't harm themselves. getting married at an early age, she always brings up the 'marriage' topic that now her daughters are past 20s and always hinting that it would be nice if she has a grandchild. especially to Jimin who is in a relationship; out of Jimin's embarrasment everytime her mother meets Jimin's boyfriend she'll ask him if they have plans to get married soon or just have babies- she doesn't mind at all, and due to the awkwardness Jimin will try her very best to not let her mother and her boyfriend came across each other in any way possible.

SIBLING: Kim Ara | 24 | alive | med student| feisty, outspoken, caring | being the total opposite of Jimin, Ara is really cold towards strangers and she always complains everytime her sister is being too nice to strangers. being 2 years apart, they are really close and apparently they also argue a lot, especially when Jimin doesn't like it when Ara seems be rude with her very outspoken attitude towards their father. Ara really loves her sister, and although she rarely shows it she really cares for her. she akways called her father a hypocrite because he didn't let Jimin go on with her boyfriend while he himself has his own 'past. but without Jimin knowing, Ara tries to change herself and to be a more obedient daughter just because she wants to convince their father to approve of Jimin's relationship with her boyfriend.
              
             Kim Howon | 10 | alive | elementary student | cheeky, playful, lovable | Howon is closer to Jimin than Ara, because their sister takes after their father in the scary when angry department and he claims that 'Ara-unnie is a witch'. he is a bit spoiled by Jimin, who always shower him with presents and buy anything he wants if he asks her. Howon does get scolded by Jimin at times when he becomes too troublesome, but he prefers to take it from Jimin than Ara.

Jessica Jung | 23 | idol-snsd | funny, a bit slow, loving | Jessica is somehow Jimin's shopping friend and gossip mate. Jessica also acts as Jimin's older sister and Jimin really adores Jessica. Having a secret relationship kept from the public a few times, Jessica knows how hard it can be and sometimes watching it from an onlooker's point of view hurts more than experiencing herself, especially when it involves the 2 people she cares the most | being a sone, Jimin used to sneak into SME to 'visit her mother' when her mother works as a vocal trainer there. one day she manages to meet snsd personally thanks to her mother. she was really chirpy but when it came to Jessica she becomes really shy and Mrs. Kim revealed that Jessica is Jimin's bias, and Jimin got really embarrassed she start hiccuping,in which Jessica found her super cute.

Kris Wufan | 22 | idol-exo | cool, composed, private person | the two of them are not that close but still in good terms with each other. they are comfortable enough to joke around with each other and talk about their day. | both of them went to the same pre-school in Canada. Kris sat at the last row because he was a bit taller than everyone else and Jimin sat in front of him. because of that he usually got the bad crayons and Jimin the kind kid in class will always share hers with him.

Kim Jonghyun | 22 | main vocals | friendly, loud, entertaining | being the same age, Jonghyun seems to be the closest to Jimin compared to others. their music taste in ballads are similar, they like to recommend each other new songs to listen. he can be a bit obnoxious at times and loves to tease Jimin, sometimes calling her 'Mrs.Onew' and he know she'll be super embarrassed when he calls her that, especially when the said person is also around.

Kim Kibum | 21 | rapper/vocals/dancer | feisty, outspoken, caring | Key is also somewhat Jimin's shopping friend. they tend to call up each other if there are sales on specific stores. he actually has nothing against her dating their leader, but there are times he will feel like the both of them deserves someone better than each other.

Choi Minho | 21 | main rapper | charming, witty, competitive | Jimin loves Minho's aegyo, and he is more than happy to do it whenever she's around. he actually had a crush on Jimin when they first met, but after he knew that she and Onew have feelings for each other he backs out. over the years he discovers that he actually likes her as an older sister than anything else.

Lee Taemin | 19 | main dancer/vocals | bratty, adorable, stubborn | Taemin was really shy around Jimin at first, but she has always taken a great likin towards the biy. she finds him too adorable to be true, and she treats Taemin like she treats Howon. he also sees her as a sister figure, and Jimin can never say no to anything Taemin says.

he's gentle, humble and very well-mannered. a very hardworking person and he'll do his best to make others happy. a bit of a workaholic. he's clumsy and funny but somehow his jokes are pretty 'unique' that not all people can understand them. he's a private person and doesn't open up to many people. on being a boyfriend, he's really sweet and caring; he always checks up on Jimin and texts her at least once a day but sometimes he can be oblivious and ignorant especially when its around their comeback dates where he'll be super busy and eventually forgets the existence of his girlfriend. he doesn't take it lightly when his girlfriend does things he doesn't like, and they would usually quarrel about it.

first meeting;

it was the first day Jimin arrived at Korea from Canada. Her mother fetched her from the airport and asked her if she could stay with her for a while until she finished her classes. by coincidence her mother had classes with pre-debut shinee that time, but only Onew attended that day because the others had school. Jimin saw Onew as nothing special; he was really nice and polite but other than that he looks like some normal kid and she also thought that Onew was younger than her. they started with vocal ranges and Jimin thought he had a pretty nice voice but was just okay with it until her mother told him to sing. she will never know how and when she really started falling for Onew, but she will always remember the moment she fell in love with Onew's voice.

anniversary;

21/11/2009. it was around the time Onew was down with swine flu, Jimin went to visit him a couple of times because she knew he'd be lonely since all s were busy promoting their new album. After her first visit, Onew didn't allow her to come anymore because he's afraid she'll get infected too.she did n't listen of course, saying she was bored anyway since she's having her midsemester break, and since everyone will be wearing face masks it would be okay. it was to the point that Onew will locked his bedroom door so that she could never enter, but what he didn't know when he's asleep Jimin will be the one who'll  take his plates away and clean his room, helping Onew's mother who usually won't be around during the day. she was busted one day, when Onew suddenly woke up and saw her. he got really angry and they quarrelled a bit, and out of anger Jimin accidentally confessed. it was awakward and Jimin wanted to say sorry but Onew quickly put his hands over , and kissed the back of his hand while covering (while they were both wearing face masks xD) it. he mumbled something about 'its not direct contact I think its okay...' they had their real kiss three weeks after, when Onew was fully recovered.
